I think this business is closed. I sent a request for a quote 2 weeks ago and got no reply. I just tried calling their 800 number and received a message that the number has been disconnected. Their website is still up so it was a wasted 2 weeks to wait for my quote.
I recently shipped my car from San Jose to Plano, Tx and was very happy with their services. In the past, I have moved from Texas to NJ and NJ to bay area and always had terrible experiences with car shipping, from companies that charge a little less.. drivers not showing up at all, or driver refusing to deliver at location etc.. but the service n professionalism I saw with Midsommar and their driver was excellent. There was some issue initially for the car being picked up, but it was promptly resolved, and they even followed up to make sure everything worked smoothly. This morning the car was delivered promptly on the date promised, the driver was very courteous and professional. Really glad I chose them over other companies, who may offer a little less price but come with a lot more headache.
This was a great car-shipping experience, which is not something everyone does a lot of. Very straightforward service, very clear on what we had to do (cash or bank check TO the driver when the car was delivered for the balance of the cost!), what we ought to do (make sure we had good records of condition of car before and after – if there was anything amiss on the delivery end, needed to be recorded right then – happens rarely (a few times out of a thousand shipments) but this is key. And reasonable among other quotes.
The driver they contracted with was very nice, very polite, very clear about what to do and when – low-stress, just as promised. And completely on-time.
I definitely would use this service again – in fact, am planning a likely move across country next year (seems to happen every decade or so), and will use them to transport vehicles again.
