Contracted with A Stellar Auto Shipping on 6/19 and paid their required deposit of $175 to initiate shipping of my 2003 Infiniti I35 from Berlin, NJ to Davenport, FL. Transport was supposed to occur on or about 6/25 (by 6/28 at the very latest as we are moving that day). Michelle was all chatty and helpful before we signed their contract. However, once the company received my deposit, they stopped communicating with us.
We tried on MANY occasions after 6/19 to contact them, by email, phone and text, but no answer and no return messages on any of these. We needed confirmation that we were indeed on the schedule and when to expect the truck to pick up our car. However, they didn’t provide ANY information to us after getting our money.
We found another company that was able to find a driver within an hour – so it can be done (by better companies!). Unfortunately, A Stellar still has our deposit and no word from them since.
Shippers beware- I placed my order on April 11th and still my Vehicle has not been picked up April 23rd. You call the number and you go to voicemail after they get your deposit. I received an email that said Snow had delayed my pickup which occurred on the 16th however the rest of the week the weather was perfect. I’m sure the drivers have drove in snow that was less than an inch and not even sticking on the ground. I requested a refund of my deposit and response was I need to be patient and give them another week to find a driver to pick up. Sorry but you should not tell your customers 3-5 business days when it is more like 10-14 or never. I was also told that this was an industry issue that was causing a delay yet I have already had my vehicle picked up from another company. Don’t waste your time and
5/9/18 Now almost a month later they still have not refunded my deposit. I have emailed and called with zero response. I called this morning and actually got a live person that hung up on me when I requested status on my refund. I called back and got the usual voicemail. Do not ship with them. I’m in contact with BBB because they are such a scam.
5/9/18- This is how they treat their customers. I leave a review so others can be informed and this is what I receive from a so called professional company. I wouldn’t trust my child’s toy car with them. Not sure what weather has to do with a refund and now they say I violated my contract. You never picked up my car where is the violation. Customers you have been warned!
I received a competitive quote to transport my BMW from Las Vegas to Arizona. A stellar auto shipping company communicated ver well with me in regards to pick up times that works best. Due to work I had to cancel the first time but they were very accommodating and Michelle was on top of it. She quickly responded to my texts and rescheduled a driver for me. The driver was nice and on time. He handled my car with care and delivered the next day. I am glad I chose a stellar auto shipping company to make sure my care arrived safely.
