I got an aggressive and enthusiastic call from these folks after posting my transport needs on some online website. They of course, agreed to a 3 day pickup window, and promised that they had $1,500,000 insurance for damamge (I should have know right there that was a number they just pulled out of the air).. NO ONE has that level of coverage.
Needless to say, the 3 days came and went with no further communication, and my phone message left with the original dispatcher still remains unanswered a week later. I finally gave up and found another carrier who provided what they promised.
To add insult to injury, I am STILL getting the automated emails from the company, telling me how wonderful they are.. any reply to those apparently just go into a big black hole.
I would never use these guys again.
Justin Parkerson was great to work with & easy to contact. That was until my Son’s car was damaged by the carrier Comex Carriers. The name of the driver was Carlos. First off, Carlos picked the car up 3-4 hours late on 5-1-17. When he did, he took photo’s & my son signed off on the car. Car was supposed to arrive Thursday 5-4 or Friday 5-5 latest. My son calls the driver Friday evening. He was told Carlos would be there with the car between 10-11 pm. Driver actually gets there at 2 am. Son meets him at a not so well lit parking lot to take possession of the car. Son uses phone flashlight to inspect the car. Due to dust & poor lighting conditions he didn’t catch the the front section of his 3 piece panoramic sunroof was shattered until 7 am that morning. At that time I called the driver & he tells me I have the wrong number. I verify it’s the correct number * redial…. No answer. I sent driver pics no response. I then called Justin at AAA & sent him pictures…. No response. I was able to eventually get a hold of the owner of Comex Carriers & he seemed to be working on taking care of the problem. He said he has not been able to reach his driver for the last 4 days but assured me everything would be okay. He has now too, fell off the face of the Earth. I’m so pissed because my Son is a 19 year old Marine that I feel was taken advantage of. This was his 1st car purchase so of course when they called at 2 am for him to get he car he jumped out of bed to get it. I am 100 percent sure that driver knew my Son’s glass was shattered. That’s why he was so late & met him in a poorly lit area. SHAME ON AAA Transporters, COMEX TRANSPORTATION LLC, & CARLO’s THE DRIVER. I’ll be turning this over to our insurance company to pursue them since they won’t answer me.
The worst customer service , there should not be in business , bunch of incompetent people who have no idea how to talk and earn your business , I made an arrangement to have my care picked up at my home address and confirmed with the teller for the day that was convenient for both parties ,I took day off and stayed home for their calls but nobody bothered to call me and showed up. At the end of the day , after 1 hour back and forth and calling to inquired about the pick up , finally I was told that ” sorry we have no truck for today . I can arrange the pick up time for tomorrow but it costs you more ” . Just stay away from their service since they’ve got nothing to offer ……don’t trust them
