I received a quote for $650 to have may vehicle shipped from Las Vegas. I spoke with Robin who was very friendly and I explained the dates I needed the vehicle collected and told her I was flexible on it arrival time. She told me that it would be picked up and she outlined the payment process. I figured that all that was left was payment and delivery. One day before the supposedly pickup date, I received a call that the price was
$ 900, and that they are are only brokers and the quote wasn’t iron clad. Don’t use these guys they are scammers.
I chose Allied because they quoted me the lowest price ($350) to transport car from Sacramento to Mission Viejo. When I booked the transport they said when they found the driver that I would pay Allied with credit card in the amount of $150 and I would pay the remaining ($200) in cash directly to the driver. The first 3 days passed and I was told they were still trying to book a driver. On the 4th day I received a phone call and was told they found a driver but now the total price is $500, so $350 in cash to the driver. An increase of $150. I really needed the car transported so I agreed.
After reading previous reviews it looks like a pattern with this company to quote a low fee to get the booking and then do a bait and switch to get more money. Would I use this company again? Probably not
I have been getting my vehicles shipped from Boston to Florida for many years with several companies. Never had I dealt with such an unreliable company as Allied. They may have a cheaper price than others, but they BS their way through the whole process. Promises of phone calls back, hold times on phone for almost 10 minutes and a lot of sweet talk. Don’t fall for it!
I sit here now, two hours before a flight, with no transport for my vehicle, with a charge on my credit card.
