Absolutely no longer recommend them. This was my second time using them within a year. Things seemed fine until something went wrong. And how a company responds when things go wrong is actually the true test of their how good they really are. With the second delivery, there was damage to my car. They unfortunately were of no help and I just got the runaround. They will just defer you to the carrier and tell you there’s nothing they can do. Their $500 promo to cover you if there is damage not covered by the carrier is useless. It’s only applicable if you file a claim with your own insurance. Why would you go through your insurance and risk increasing your premiums when the carrier is supposed to have insurance and is responsible for the damage?! Highly disappointed with them and obviously would never use them again or recommend them to anyone else.
I recently had a highly disappointing experience with the American Auto Company that has left me frustrated and dissatisfied with their services. I had ordered two cars, expecting them to be delivered on October 16th, as agreed upon. Unfortunately, the cars were delayed by a whopping four days, causing significant inconvenience and financial strain.
Despite notifying the American Auto Company in advance about the urgent need for the cars, their agent, Rachel, and her supervisor failed to ensure a timely delivery. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, they provided me with vague and unhelpful information, talking me through what seemed like a stream of random excuses and evasive responses.
To add to my frustration, when I requested the email address of the manager to express my concerns directly, I was provided with an incorrect email address. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable, especially when dealing with such a significant and expensive service.
I had expected better service for the hefty fee of $3900 that I paid for the two cars. The service level provided by American Auto Company was downright bad, and the inconvenience caused by the delay resulted in additional expenses. I had to shell out an extra $500 for car rentals due to their failure to meet the agreed-upon delivery date.
In conclusion, my experience with American Auto Company has been nothing short of disappointing. Their inability to deliver on time, coupled with poor communication and misinformation, has tarnished my perception of their professionalism and reliability. I strongly urge future customers to set realistic expectations and reconsider using the services of American Auto Company.
