i was hoping to use auto zipper services seeing that they have 5 stars but now sure how they live up to that. I have been trying to get a hold of someone from auto zipper for over a week.

Hi Brian, I called the number directly from Yelp. You did respond to my first call about a day or two later. You were very pleasant over the phone and nice to speak to. The rest of my experience wasn’t the same.

You mentioned that Michelle would contact me before the business day ended. I did not hear from her. I called back a few times different days to both extensions.

So much for a two hour response on a quote. I reached out two days ago and they haven’t even bothered to reply. The message has been “seen” as well.

If this is their response when they are trying to obtain your business, I can only imagine what the response rates are after they’ve locked you in.

I am writing this review as my second vehicle is being delivered late to me today. Days later than promised and several hours later than promised on day of delivery.

I REALLY wanted to like this place.Seriously. So let me explain…

Before committing to AutoZipper I had also gotten a quote from Autoline Transport. I needed 2 cars to be shipped from California to Maryland. Autozipper quoted me $950/car while Autoline quoted me $925 (they gave me a discount for shipping 2 cars). Both companies said it would take 7-10 days to move cross country. OK cool, sounds about right. I ultimately went with Autoline despite the higher overall cost because Brian just seemed like such a good guy, which I’m sure he really is. But this has nothing to do with him. It was basically Murphy’s Law – anything that can go wrong, will go wrong type of situation.

So, we needed the first vehicle to go out first since my husband was going out there a week and a half before me. I tell them the exact day I needed the vehicle to be delivered and they said no problem. They scheduled the car to be picked up and off it went. 4 or 5 days later they call me to tell me that it was ready to be delivered (in Maryland). HOLY COW that’s fast! But WAIT, there’s a problem – it’s there ONE WEEK TOO EARLY!!!!!! My husband was still at training at some other state and I was still in California! PROBLEM! They said they will have to deliver the car or else it’s going back to California. OH CRAP, I don’t want that. So I call the leasing agent at our new apt in Maryland and asked if he could receive the car for us. Thank goodness he said yes. But I had to write him an authorization letter and pull a bunch of strings because he and the leasing company wasn’t about to be liable for any mishaps. Sure, it wasn’t THAT bad but it was a little inconvenient and troublesome.

A week and a half later, I needed my car to be shipped out. So they gave me the day I wanted the car to be picked up and off it went. It got picked up on Thursday morning (August 4th) and here I am waiting for my car to be delivered to me 12 days later (Augst 12th). They told me the driver will be here between 8am-10am. It is currently 12pm. First of all, it’s taken more than 10 days for delivery BUT the truck carrying the vehicles broke down in Oklahoma on Friday so it’s understandable. There’s really nothing you can do about that, it just sucks! What about my 8-10am delivery??? Luckily, I am currently working from home but can you imagine the trouble and the pain I would have gone through if I commuted to work? I would have had to take the day off today and wait for my car to come hours late. Not cool.

To be fair, some of they kinks were out of anyone’s control and just bad luck. But come on, I honestly didn’t have the most pleasant experience. Major disappointment – such a shame.

PS Brian’s a good guy.
