other companies, Coast to Coast is head and shoulders above other transport companies.
Found them through a Google search for car transport. Was contacted by a rep, who quoted me a good price to move my wife’s Toyota Corolla from Atlanta to Iowa City. Arranged for pickup from Atlanta on a Saturday. Waited at the house all day Saturday and Sunday. Called rep Monday, was told that he would research with Dispatch and find out what happened to my order and would call back. Tuesday, I had to call the rep, was told that “Central Dispatch says you booked another company,” which is straight-out untrue. I told the rep as much and he said he’d check back with Central Dispatch and call me right back. He did, then told me that they were trying to find a driver to pick up my vehicle and that he’d call me back around 2pm to 3pm. A few minutes before 5pm, I called him back and he told me they were still trying to find a driver for my vehicle. I informed him that he had until 10AM Eastern time Wednesday to call me back, one way or the other, and that I also have an unpredictable work schedule, which is why I asked for it to be picked up on Saturday to begin with. I let him know that if he did not call me by 10 AM one way or the other, I would go with another company. Poor customer service, poor communications, seemingly dishonest employees (claims that I went with another company). Going with another company, as I don’t trust them at all.
I tried using this company to transport my vehicle from Oregon to California. On the advice of their rep I was sure that my vehicle would be picked up. I flew to OR to load the vehicle… nothing. I called company and just got voicemails. When I finally got a hold of someone they put me through to another rep that would “help me out”. Just voicemails. It cost me flight tickets, hotel bills and my time, and still my vehicle is in OR. I will not use them again, ever. Customer service is terrible.
