I had a worker of mine hire these guys to live a vehicle for a production shoot we were going to do. We had paid for the vehicle and needed it moved down in a timely manner and these guys said they could do it. They sent us an email confirmation and then we never heard back from them. Given the holiday weekend we figured we wouldn’t. But after trying to contact them on the phone over and over again we started to worry. Finally got thru only to be greeted by the co owner and wife of the owner in the most rude and disrespectful way possible. She was yelling how they couldn’t get a hold of us, well as it turns they’re employee wrote down the wrong phone number. After speaking to the owner who at first seemed like a level headed guy, but then turned out to be just as idiotic and rude as his wife, we tried to figure out why this happened and what could have been done to fix it. Turns out their driver picked up the vehicle and it had a small leak, the driver said it could be a “turn of a screwdriver” fix and it would be done, apparently the owner wouldn’t have that and held my vehicle hostage for $250. So they don’t inspect the vehicles they pick up, then if something is wrong they won’t deliver it and expect someone else to fix their fuck up. I said they could have emailed us or gotten my number from the person they got the vehicle from, but they just kept insisting that it was the customers fault that the number was wrong. So now I’m out about $6k on this vehicle that I bought and now don’t have. I’m thinking of reporting it stolen and calling my lawyer because these guys took it and won’t deliver. It’s very upsetting that a “reputable” biz will treat paying customers like this. But karma will come back to them hard. It always does.

So don’t use this company for transportation of anything. They will pretty much steal your vehicle, blame you for their faults and treat you like shit. Just look at they’re other reviews. It’s starting to show.

Bad form coast to coast, more like “scam to scam”

Who makes mistakes and then blames the customers?! COAST TO COAST that’s who! I hired this company on 6/20 to move a truck for me out of state. Got my email confirmation and They picked it up & it was set for delivery between 6/30-7/1 and then I never heard back. I tried calling on 6/30 to find out my truck “supposedly” had a leak and they wouldn’t deliver it but the girl wasn’t sure why i wasn’t contacted. She told me I Would be contacted by the owners on 7/5. Never heard back. I have recorded dates of when I kept calling and leaving voicemails on 7/5, 7/6, twice on 7/7 and finally got thru on 7/11, and was transferred to talk to the co-owner Kenda Deere, right away she was extremely rude and very inconsiderate saying I needed to call the women I purchased my truck from. I kept asking what number they were calling to reach me, after asking 5 times, finally she said the number they were trying to call me at and turns out they wrote my number down wrong. After that her tone changed when she realized it was a huge mistake on their part and had the owner Ben Deere call me back. Ben said the same thing his wife did that they even tried emailing me and got returned emails. Funny because they had my email correct as I have the email confirmation with details about my shipment from their employee Kim Simmons. Also they could have gotten my correct number from the person they picked up the truck from, as well as another shipper who is now trying to clean up this company’s mess and make it right. They had 3 ways to contact me after their mistake of taking down a wrong number, well they didn’t! Instead they were extremely rude to me (the paying customer who has done everything right), they won’t deliver the vehicle, and were not offering any way to remedy the situation. Instead wanted my vehicle gone from their yard in another state and wanted $250 for picking up the vehicle. They want money for screwing up and screwing over customers!! What company does that? Apparently the driver offered to “fix” the truck to get it out of there and the owners told him not to. So now you have a company that makes unverified claims that vehicle are not in transporting condition AFTER picking it up and holding them ransom from customers. And in the confirmation email there is no fine print as to what happens in that situation if a vehicle has a “leak” or anything else. I guess that’s how this company get away with crimes like this. I went with these guys because they could deliver before the 4th of July, after that it would be too late to receive the truck as I had to move. So now I’m out the money I paid for the truck as well as money costs and funds this truck was to make and return. I’m out Upwards of $6000 and this company, after all this, writing down my wrong information, claiming email attempts even with a correct address, extremely rude, insulting, inconsiderate behavior towards paying customers, are demanding money for doing 10% of the job and not seeing it thru.

I have dealt with some very shady transport company’s before, people who literally can’t count money and don’t know how their truck functions, which is fine as long as the vehicle is delivered, but after the experience of this dog & pony show of a transport company, these guys seriously take the win for worst business ethics ever!!! I was told by the owner not to contact them anymore because they obviously can’t admit to any faults on they’re behalf and they hung up on me when I told them they shouldn’t be collecting money and holding the truck like they were since after all the mistakes had been made on their part, & they cannot own up to it, make it right or even do what morally correct.

I’m currently getting legal advise about all this nonsense to try to get some of the money I’ve lost and I hope no one else gets scammed by these folks.

So remember how these guys operate, they will mess up and it will be all your fault. Customer is not right by any means with these guys.

So be warned anyone who attempts this company’s services as it may cost you money and your vehicle as it did mine.

I’m so so so thankful I found Coast to Coast. I got referred here by another company who said they didn’t have any trucks going my route – super glad I went with Coast to Coast. I shipped my car from Seattle to Philly at the very last minute, and was having the most stressful time finding a solid transport company. Most of the other ones I contacted were asking for more money that their initial quote because I needed to ship my car within the next two days, but Coast to Coast offered a competitive price, no extra money or anything beyond their quote, and had a driver who could pick up on the day I needed them. Other companies were trying to get my business by threatening me that I shouldn’t believe any transport company that says they’ll come pick up your vehicle on a certain day because “it’s not guaranteed”, but Coast to Coast came on the day and time we agreed on. They even called me in advance that morning letting me know they were coming.

People at Coast to Coast are incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly; I would call every now and then to check up on my car while it was being shipped, and I could always get in contact with someone who was more than happy to give me the information I was looking for. They also called me a week, then a couple days before the car would arrive. I did have a slight hiccup when it was being delivered (I had classes during the time the driver said he would come), but the driver was so courteous, he even switched his schedule around so he could deliver at a time when I was available. My car came in great condition, it was a little dirty on the outside but only because the carrier was not enclosed while it was being shipped. Thank you Coast to Coast for your great service, I will most likely need to transport my car in the near future so I’ll be sure to call you again!
