I am updating my 1 star review as right after my 1 star review, I did finally receive a call back… which was good and within 2 hours of that call, my car was finally scheduled to get on a truck. It seemed like the nightmare of this shipping car process was over but alas… hopeful thinking.

Our car was delivered yesterday but it was a really terrible experience. They missed three delivery windows and then refused to drop the car anywhere that was convenient. In fact where we picked it up yesterday was late and in a quite dangerous neighborhood despite us providing an alternative address closer to our house that we know is accessible because it’s where they stage all the large trucks for concerts in the park. This was all compounded that the driver spoke no English.

I realize Mercury doesn’t manage the shipping companies and I gave them a few days to respond (and heard nothing). As the broker they should know about this sub-standard service.

AVOID!

Save yourself time, money and hassle and simply go elsewhere.

Everything looks great when you make a quotation for the shipping, they will give you reasonable estimated time for the shipping and they will obviously try to sell all upgrades, insurance etc. They will be approachable and helpful until they receive your money.

In December 2020 I bought a car and decided to ship it to the UK using EasyHaul. The car should be here in Feb 2021 (their estimate) but it arrived mid April!

Very poor customer service, representatives were arrogant and didn’t give me any update or information, complete waste of time. There was no communication from them and when I asked for the update, they gave me all sort of excuses including stating that “this shipment destination is not very popular”. Didn’t you know about the destination when you quoted for the job?! They don’t apologise for anything.

They were just waiting for more vehicles for the container to make more money.

I fully understand the consolidation process (as this is not the first car I am importing from the US), but I have never had to wait for loading more than 2 weeks from the time when my car was delivered to a warehouse. With EasyHaul it took over 4 months!

Their competitors are sending containers not later than after 2 weeks from the first vehicle arriving their warehouse, no matter if they have 2, 3 or 4 vehicles. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose, but you should respect your customers and the estimates provided when you quote for the job.

I was waiting for them to fill up the container for almost 4 months! and my car was the second vehicle for this container which means that someone was waiting even longer than me.

Would never work with them again total disappointment.

This place is a SCAM… run run run they absolutely want to get your deposit money then disappear. they will make everything seem legit but once they get your contract they make excuses or simply stop answering .. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Buyer beware! When I cancelled the quote, James sent me a $150 “Dry Run Fee”. When I called to inquire, he cursed me on the phone and hung up. I did pay the fee because he seemed so upset by the cancellation, which was very weird.
