Beware of this company! When they are delivered my car ,damaged my car and just did a poor paint job over it. Been avoiding phone calls when we call .
I am pretty convinced that these positive reviews were written by friends and family of the owners. I have had nothing but a bad experience and it continues to be so as am still waiting on my car, calling Bobby and Dave repeatedly with no answer or call back for days now.
I want to be clear I believed I was hiring Allied Moving, I dropped it at an Allied lot, with an Allied employee. It was not until I was on the road to my new home cross country (I was two states away at the time) and payment was demanded that I was told this was third party. So I had no choice in the matter.
I dropped it on June 30th and had a 7 to 10 day window of drop off. It is now July 16th. On July 14th my husband called to see what the situation was and when to expect the delivery. He was told by Dave that “no one wants to pick up your car” which was confusing at the time as they are an AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANY, but a statement that now seems pretty clear as they don’t pay out people who transport for them, based on reviews I have now seen.
I have resorted to calling Allied and having them ATTEMPT to get a hold of these two as I have paid in full, have no idea where my car is, if it has even moved locations, if it is still even known where it is or when, if ever, it will get here.
Right at this moment it seems like my car has been stolen and I have been duped out of quite a lot of money, much more than other companies were charging. My advice so far is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, that is if you care at all about receiving your car or even knowing where it is.
So to reiterate: Dropped my car at an Allied lot on June 30th, paid in full, was given a 7-10 day window of delivery, it is July 16th and still no car. Called Bobby and Dave MULTIPLE times with no response or call back.
Should this change I would be happy to update this review, however I am not exactly optimistic at this moment and will be looking into legal recourse should this continue.
Highly recommend. Kevin Ross at KVB saved us from a horrible experience with aCarShip. Kevin contacted me daily with updates and was able to get both of our vehicles picked up at the last minute before we moved out of state. They were delivered within 72 hours to our new location. He was able to keep both bids low and affordable, and he was extremely transparent about the entire process. I even called him late one night (forgetting about the time change) and he was more than happy to answer my call and any questions I had. I would definitely work with KVB again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to transport their vehicle.
Do not do business with them. They will quote you one price and tell you need to pay a deposit of $150.00. They will be cheap on their quote. Then call the day before your car ships and raise the price significantly. They Will not refund your money when they can not deliver at the price they quoted. Their price quote is meaningless. They are liars and There are extremely more honest options. There are companies that will quote you a price and guarantee it. Avoid doing business with them.
Bait and switch company. They offered me a price and said that I wouldn’t pay a penny more. It was $750 to ship my car from Fort Lauderdale to Boston. I put down a deposit of $250 and the balance was supposed to be due upon arrival. When they arrived they Held my car hostage on the truck unless I paid 800 cash. I ended up having to pay it and try to get the $250 deposit back which was unsuccessful so I ended up paying over 1000. I read on the better business review website that this company has done the same thing before. They are a third-party company that hopes that you won’t go after them. They messed with the wrong guy
