Terrible customer service. No accountability.
I signed contract for a driver to ship car from Arizona to Florida. Driver canceled 12 hours prior to pick up. This was after trying to book a driver for more than a week. Driver wasn’t booked until a few days before my departure date, so it was also difficult to plan and book a plane ticket. That ticket cost me 3x what it normally would have due to last minute purchase. All of it was so uncertain, sketchy, and last minute.
Company still encouraged me to fly home and that my car could likely get shipped by someone within a few day. My “contract was with driver, not Secure auto shipping”. Company never changed pick up location per my directions and found another driver which cost me more money, but was wrong pick up location . Again , no accountability.
Now I’m in FL without a vehicle. Find a third driver at an additional $500 (total $1750) my expense and I receive my car 11 days later than was originally contracted for. I had to rent a vehicle for a week at great expense because it happens to be spring break now.
Original sales person won’t email me back. I’ve asked to speak with a supervisor multiple times. Crickets. I wasn’t told about a $250 “reservation fee” being in addition to the originally quoted price/bid. Crickets. They have their “reservation fee” and don’t care/no responsibility about anything else.
I’ll never ever ship a vehicle again . Never. Terrible, shady experience that cost me $2500 more than if I had just driven home and $1500 more than I had originally been told to expect. I’m so frustrated and nobody from this company will contact me.
Mindy was nice and the only person who seemed to care.
Waste of my time.. I contacted Ron at Sweet Spot transport on 2/24. That day I accepted his offer, and my sons car was to be picked up on 3/8. He rarely kept in touch with me, and my sons car was never picked up. I decided on 3/10 to call around, and find a different transport company. I found one that day, and car is to be picked up tomorrow. This was very important to me because my son is a new Marine, and I wanted to get his car to him across the country asap. I should have done more research. Ron at Sweet spot is a broker. Not a carrier. He calls around for the best prices after he quotes you. He actually also called the company I decided to go with, and declined their offer a couple of days ago. He low balled me, and he wouldn’t have made any $$ off of them. Yes, he does give a good price. Doesn’t mean he’s going to accept offers anytime soon, or get back to you politely. He told me to be patient. I was until the date of pickup, came and went and the car was still here. The best price, isn’t always the best option. I do not recommend going with this one man company. Had I not contacted him, my son would’ve been driving around in his car weeks ago!
So much for a two hour response on a quote. I reached out two days ago and they haven’t even bothered to reply. The message has been “seen” as well.
If this is their response when they are trying to obtain your business, I can only imagine what the response rates are after they’ve locked you in.
The reviews I read for this company are absolutely amazing. That’s why I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received and delay in transportation . I was guaranteed calls back to follow up on my car . I have never once received a call back . I was told I would receive my car back within 5 days . I was in those five days promised the car would be on the truck everyday . Now , I am going on seven days and they told me the truck it is going on is broken so now there’s concerns they are putting my car on a truck that is not in proper working condition . I would recommend any other company over this . You could even pay less money than this and get a better company . Don’t use this company whatever you do !
the car took longer than the time frame they guaranteed . they kept saying oh the truck its going to be on is broken which isn’t reassuring at all knowing my car was going to be on a broken truck .
