Western Express is a good trucking company for both new drivers as well as seasoned veterans. The driver managers are willing to help out their drivers in any way they can. Wilson Leemon in particular has proven himself to be a very good DM, quickly moving up the ranks as one of the best. If anyone is considering a career in the trucking industry, I highly recommend Western Express.

Bait and switch. I agreed on a price and signed an agreement. Then I get a call asking for more money day before my car was to be picked up. Entirely unreliable and unprofessional. Beware!

I had a very special Dodge Viper Prototype Race Car that needed to be moved from Houston to the East Coast. It’s a very difficult car to move – very, very, very low, very wide – nothing about it would be easy. It was important to me that I spoke first hand to someone that understood the challenges with such a vehicle and could insure the right level of transport – and not to some customer service rep that had no idea what my car was. That’s why I contacted Steve Wells – his experience with such vehicles is unmatched. He knew exactly what to do. He found the BEST truck with the BEST drivers for transporting my car – I know this because the other cars on the transport were a Bugatti Veyron and a Mclaren Sienna (both $1M+ cars)! The Prototype Viper was delivered quickly, efficiently and without damage. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

NOT happy with the communication and then price change. Multiple Texts and calls throughout the process and was ignored many times. Not a good experience. Scheduled for pickup on 9/29. Was told it would be 2-3 day from that day. No word and no communication until 10/5. Was told if I wanted it picked up now, they would need an extra $150 over what I was told it would cost, otherwise I would have to wait longer. Reluctantly paid the extra, and was picked up that next morning. Told it would be Delivered on 10/14. Nope. Called, Texted and nothing until 10/16 with “Looks like it should have been delivered, you didn’t get it?” “Uhh, No” Finally, driver says Arriving at 10:30pm. OK. 10:30, get another text, “it will actually be 11:30”. Ok. 11:45pm rolls around. “are you close?” “yeah, 40 minutes away”. 1:00am! He finally shows up. Wakes up the neighborhood with the truck cause he had to offload a few to get mine.

I hired this highly unprofessional company to move my Audi for me on a flat bed trailer 4 hours away. The driver destroyed the whole underneath of the front when taking it off the flat bed. He didn’t have the ramp positioned correctly. I had a fence contractor at the house giving me an estimate at the time and he witnessed the damage. The driver tried to say it was like this before. Both of us saw it happen in real time and were flabbergasted that he would blatantly lie to our faces like this. Found out that they didn’t have insurance to be transporting an exotic car and the driver would have to pay half of the 5K damage. They were beyond rude when I tried to deal with them and they will not give you a phone # to speak with management, only an email that will never be answered. These guy’s take payment and contract out the job to the lowest bidder and washes their hands of the whole contract once they receive payment. Please do yourself a huge favor and learn from my mistake and find someone else that will do the job themselves. These guys are a middleman and do not stand by their product and service. They are very nice at first until you have a problem then they become nasty and rude and will actually hang up on you like a petulant child. Take a few minutes longer to find a reputable transport service that does it all in house and that has all the proper certs and coverages or you’ll be dealing with a dishonest and truly pathetic company like AAA or as I like to call them FFF for Fail.
