This company is just awful. They gave me a window of dropping off my vehicle between 1-8. They were supposed to call me 1 hour before delivery. I never heard from them and couldn’t reach anyone. They called the next day with a new time – no explanation of why they didn’t show or call the day before. I was told the driver would call 1 hour before. The driver, Mickey Medina, called 20 minutes before arrival. She was incredibly rude, pushy, and rushed. She didn’t explain anything to me and was pushing for me to sign for the vehicle. She assured me that I wasn’t signing for an inspection because she was so rushed and pushy, I signed. After she left, I realized she had the side mirror on the passenger side pushed in. It’s cracked. Absolutely terrible experience with Mickey.
Terrible transport company. Awful customer service when someone does answer the phone, they quote you one price and accept the deposit, but when it’s time to deliver the car they increase the price forcing you to pay more. So they are basically, liars and thieves. Save yourself the headache and use another company.
Great services, always answered my calls and questions. Car was deliver on time with no problems!!
I worked with Phil from rite way auto transport to p/u in Columbus Ga and deliver to Aynor SC, the driver was dispatched within 24-hrs after that the transaction turned to s**t. the driver lied about pick up times and arrived a day late at the dealership, then was going to deliver in the late evening well after dark the same day, however, he never arrived. The next day he was coming at 5:30 pm and that never happened, again he wanted to deliver after 9:00 pm and was told no. He finally arrived on Sunday morning at 10:21 after telling us 9:30. Overall 2-days late which messed up my scheduling and I had to reschedule with relatives to be on-site in case the Driver decided to actually show up. throughout this process, I emailed and called Phil from rite way, but never received a callback or response to the emails. So as others have said once they have your money they do not want to deal with you and will not respond to your calls. This company was referred by the dealer I was working with and I have already reached out to them so they can remove this company from there referral list, so no one will have to deal with this overpriced lying company In the future.
The measure of a company is NOT how they handle things when everything goes fine, but how they handle things when there are problems.
My 2020 BMW X6 M50i, a $90+K car, was shipped from Massachusetts to California in early September. It was expected to arrive in 14 days, but ended up showing up in only 7, in Los Angeles. We agree to drive from San Diego to pick it up and save a couple of days so we could take it on our upcoming road trip vacation.
To make a long story short, the vehicle had been damaged in transport and needed to be repaired at the closest BMW dealer, to the tune of about $1,500. Not only did Steve Ward, the transport manager at Chip’s arrange to have it paid directly, he also took care of our $750 car rental for our vacation. This is a man and company that believe in doing the right thing. This is a rarity in this day and age. Nobody should hesitate doing business with a company like this.
