After having a bad experiance with another company who kept asking for more money, Discount Auto guaranteed their price. When a truck wanted $100 more, they gave up the money from their deposit.

Thanks and I will use you when I ship the car back

Never use this company. Sales department are not truthful, operations are incompetent.

Try to have a simple conversation about changes to the inventory is like talking to a child who has absolutely no idea how to communicate with you.

Overall, the worst moving company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

You all have been warned!

!!!PLEASE BEWARE!!!

My car broke down on a road trip, and I needed to have it towed home for service. I reached out to SGT and received a quote for $369, and a timeframe of 1-3 business days. After three business days passed I called them and they told me that they were working on it and that the timeframe was not a guarantee. A few days later they called me and told me that they found a carrier for $200 more than the quote. I said no. I called every day after that and got the same response: “We’re working on it.” Ten days after placing the order I cancelled and switched to another carrier. My contact at the new carrier told me about some practices in this industry: shady companies book you at an unreasonably low rate and then try to upsell you at a higher price to actually move your car.

One last thing: after I cancelled my SGT order the new carrier called to inform me that the SGT quote was still on the market, at a higher price. I don’t know for sure but it looks like they were trying to compete even after I cancelled in order to block the other broker from getting my business.

I will never use this company again and hope you don’t either.

If I could give them – stars I would. I’ve used them twice before without any major issues, but this time WOW!!!!! Michael DiBenedetto got his $150 commission last week, this week my car was picked up. They told me Monday so I called the lady I’m picking it up from to let her know. Now the next day they finally call her that they’re picking it up. I call him to let him know my concerns and he try’s blaming me that I shouldnt have called her to let her know when the car was going to be picked up. He also told me anyone with a brain wouldnt have done that. I told him who does he think he is to talk to someone like that. And he tells me “GFY do you know what that means?” I said ” what?” Michael said ” GO FUCK YOURSELF!! DON’T CALL ME AGAIN!!!”

Save your money for someone with a little more respect!!!!!!

I am a lawyer. My client hired A Unique Transport to transport her car for an agreed upon $830. When the car arrived, they demanded an additional $300, without which they refused to release the car. They claimed that the broker she used (whom she paid) went out of business and owed A Unique Transport money FOR OTHER DEALS. Mike admitted that the broker did not owe ANY MONEY FOR THIS DEAL but told me that he’s trying to recoup his losses from that broker by charging each customer EXTRA MONEY.

I was beyond shocked and sought to clarify that $830 was all he was owed for my client’s car transport, to which he said YES. But he still, as I sit here, refuses to release my client’s car unless she pays an additional $300.

I see a lot of bad actors in my line of work but I’ve never had anyone so bold as to say that they were taking extra money from my client to pay for other businesses losses. This guy should be out of business.
