Envision Auto Relocations, John Andrews, is a broker who arranges automobile relocation with various shippers. John will gladly take his $150 broken fees but it might be well worth you efforts to research the shippers he selects. I have shipped 8 cars to date and did not have a problem with any until I had John Andrews arrange shipping of a vehicle. A little research would have shown the shipper had been in business less than a year and although they had the required insurance, their carrier would automatically decline a claim is the damage was less than $1000. John response, get someone out to give an estimate over $1000. John had assured me he only did business with responsible shippers who knew what they were doing. This was certainly not the case. They damaged the car both loading and unloading and then tried to extort additional money because of the difficulty encountered unloading the car. It took John 2 weeks to get the insurance info from the shipper after repeated unanswered phone calls. I would have been better off dealing with U-Ship and eliminated the broker’s fees. I still would have gotten the same poor shipping. IN MY CASE, ENVISION AUTO RELOCATIONS DID NOT DO THEIR HOMEWORK WHEN SELECTING MY AUTOMOBILE SHIPPER.

We unfortunately had a terrible experience with this “business”. The gentlemen was quick to book our reservation and take our $300 deposit, informing us of a recent customer that they shuttled from her car drop off site to the airport free of charge. We were told that the timeline we were hoping to receive our car in would not be a problem. He was going to look up a good place to meet us near the airport, we would drop our car off , it would be shipped within a few days and would more than likely arrive at our destination soon after we did. The day of our flight arrived with NO WORD as to a meeting point or whether our car would even be able to be shipped. This is, of course, after SEVERAL failed attempts to contact them to confirm details–such as the free ride to the airport that we were told about. As we were checking our luggage at the airport, we hear from this company. We had to drive our car 15 min. to an obscure long term storage lot where a truck would come and pick up eventually. The shuttle to the airport he was so excited to inform us about? Well, it turned out that that lady had gotten a ride because “she was really nice”… SERIOUSLY??? Sparing the gory details, we paid to have our car stored for a week until it was picked up by family members because we heard no word on whether or not it was going to be shipped. We canceled on them and didn’t have to pay the $300 because they decided to book us with a contract that had only been exchanged by e-mail i.e. they didn’t have my or anyone in my family’s signature– the only good thing that they did for us. If I could give this place a negative score, I would. Avoid this company like the plague!

As an FYI, this company is pretty much a car delivery broker. So you pay them, and they contact a “reputable” delivery company to come and pick up your car.

This company is so-so. DEFINITELY not a 10, but not worth a report to BBB.

The company they “Brokered” delivered our car. However, the pickup was 3 days late and the delivery was 2 days late. As a broker, I’d expect some more communication with the company.

We received no notification of any of the delays from Nationwide and also INCORRECT information re: the allowable cargo weight of the car. While this only cost us $50.00, the lack of communication was unacceptable. Otherwise, why are we paying Nationwide? Perhaps they offer things behind the scenes that we are not aware of (insurance?). But from our point of view, the lateness and lack of communication about the lateness totally wrecked our schedules and was HUGELY inconveniencing.

I tried to get some resolution re: this and of course am not getting a response.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it a dealbreaker, but wouldn’t call it stellar business savvy either.

Up to you. It is a cheaper company, but expect some bumps along the way…

I contacted this company 2 months prior to the scheduled pick up date for my car and they assured me along the way that they will be able find a driver for $895 for sure. They even assured me this price as of less than one week before the scheduled pick up date. But things changed 5 days before the pick up date. Now Demetry said they could not find a driver to ship it for the quoted price and I have to pay $250 more for each of our 3 cars! They were also very bad about keep promises of calling me when they said they would. They did not keep me updated on the situation.

I think they were leading us on and stay with them until the last minute and now we do not have other arrangement! Highly unprofessional people.. I would not use them.

When I tried to put my experience with this company on Transportreviews.com, United Freight of America (UFA) requested that website to take off my review. ( UFA is supporting Transportreviews.com as the Gold member supporter)

DO NOT USE THIS TRANSPORT COMPANY!

I am a seasoned collector and restorer of classic motor cars from the 50s, 60s & 70s. I have been buying and selling cars, moving them all over the country and world-wide for more than 30 years. I have moved more than 150 cars within the US in just the last 3 years.

I engaged American Auto Transport Ph: 262-633-1020 to move a pristinely restored Rolls-Royce from Illinois to California. The car was purchased by a collector. I always book ENCLOSED because the cars are fully detailed and cleaned prior to delivery and it is a nice touch for the customer to receive the car in its immaculate condition.

American Auto Transport arrived to collect the car in the rain (not their fault) but would not allow our staff into the truck to wipe the car down once loaded, citing; “the car will have to be moved several times anyway so it will get dirty”. Management was contacted advising the car MUST be delivered in its original clean state. Contact was ignored. The car arrived dirty and untidy (inside and out) . Someone, presumably the driver, wiped the car down with a wet and dirty rag and the paint had light scratches and was muddy and smudgy. This inside had sand on the carpets.

The transport company took no responsibility for their action, did not return calls and made no offer to contribute towards re-detailing the car.

They are rude and unprofessional and I highly advise anyone moving anything collectable or of value to avoid this transport company. Quite the disgrace.
