Find The Right Car Carrier For Your Move

Dishonesty is a big NO NO and this “company” cannot be trusted . I booked my car transport back in November and when the supposed ” pick up” date came , they did not deliver and increased the agreed quoted price significantly on the day of “pick up” because they had “;issue” with the carrier and they had to increase the fees . No where in the original agreement stated that such situation could occurred. It went from 815 to 1325! Now, we have to spend extra money booking a rental car and searched for another car transport broker . I would recommend Montway Auto Transport. This company cannot be trusted and they also have you input your card information as pre-authorization. To be fair , they let us cancel the transaction but I do not trust this company and had to call my credit card company to place a block just in case. Dishonesty in business is definitely not acceptable and I’m writing this review to prevent people from falling into the trap and wasted their hard earn money . Thank you .

Due to not being able to get a car transport, or a U-Haul to pull it, I opted to use a car transport service. Easy Car Transport had the best price and in order to stick to my moving budget, that is the main reason why I chose them.

They said they would my car pick up the next day which didn’t happen however, the following day they showed up. The driver did a walk around of my vehicle and took photos as well as mileage info and sent it to me via email prior to putting it up on the transport. As promised, my car arrived the following day to my destination, with no damage, and no additional miles. All good.

The only hiccups I experienced were with the payment. They initially agreed to take half of the total payment on a credit card, and upon delivering my vehicle, take the last half of the payment in cash. However, when they delivered my vehicle, the driver would not give me my key back unless I paid the full amount in cash. I had to go back-and-forth with him while he made a phone calls to his boss, who then tried to get me to provide payment with Zelle or PayPal, which I declined several times. It was already agreed-upon prior to them taking my vehicle, half credit card, half cash which I was not about to switch up because they had my key. The “boss” told me there would be a service charge (if I used my credit card), which wasn’t explained before they picked up my car but -whatever at this point- I accepted the 3% charge and only then did they follow through on the initial agreement. Boss man told the driver to give me my key then he charged half on my card, and I gave the final amount in cash to his driver. Had they stuck to the original agreement, ALLLLL of this nonsense could have been avoided. I feel like transport companies & moving companies pull this stunt when they have your possessions and expect you to abide by what ever they say otherwise they’ll keep your stuff until you comply. NOPE. That doesn’t fly with me. If a company tells me one thing (I always get proof in writing, in this case, email) and does another- I won’t back down and of course, I didn’t back down this time either. Got the card charged 1/2 and paid the other 1/2 in cash to the driver as ORIGINALLY AGREED.

Three stars for delivering on time with no damage or additional miles. Car delivered, key in hand and…. buhbyeeeee.
