We just used these guys to transport our car across the country and it was a terrible experience. The office people are nice when they are trying to get your business, but when you need their help, they are the rudest group of people I have ever dealt with. We agreed on a delivery date, and they showed up early and we were not in town yet. When I called their office, the man who answered the phone told me it’s my problem and hung up the phone. I do want to give credit to the driver, because he tried to help me, but I recommend you look for a different company or even better drive it yourself and save yourself a lot of headache and money.

Worst Service Ever! Ronnie, the owner is a rude unprofessional crook. He hangs up on you any chance he gets! They are not a transport business just a broker! Do not trust this mans company with your money and they take no resposibility for any damages because they’re only finding you a transportation company. This company is worthless! And the owner is the scum of the earth!

Generous Auto Transport provided this job, promising to pick up my car at my origin address by Friday 5/11/2018, one day before we moved out of California to Maryland (move out date: 5/12/2018). 5/11/2018 came, and no driver picked up my car, so after many calls on that Friday and Saturday, the company stated that a driver would be able to pick up my car on Monday 5/14/2018. So then I had to have my inlaws move my car to my inlaws’ address, about 5 minutes away from the origin address, since we already left CA. The driver ended up picking up my car on Monday, 5/14/2018. As quoted on the job number, the company promised to deliver my car by Saturday 5/19/2018 at my destination address in Maryland.

Saturday 5/19/2018 came…. and no driver showed up at my destination address in Maryland. So after many calls, again, I was told that MY CAR WAS STILL SITTING IN CALIFORNIA, WAITING FOR A WILLING DRIVER to deliver my car to Maryland. They claimed that my destination address was “not a popular address and that more time was needed to find a driver.”

So then, after many more phone calls on Saturday 5/19/2018 and Sunday 5/20/2018, on Monday 5/20/2018 I spoke to a representative in that company, who said that they found a driver that was willing to deliver my car to Maryland…. for more money. THIS IS EXTORTION. They waited until they had my car in possession and until I was located far away from my car (my car was still in their lot in the state of California, and we already moved all the way across the country in Maryland, East Coast), in order to force me to pay more money (by increasing our total cost by $415, to be exact) before we could get our car back. If we did not pay the extra money, the company threatened to keep my car in their lot for even more charges, until I can pay up the extra money. We had no choice but a total of $1465 (an increase from $1050 to $1465), and the company delivered my car on Monday 5/28/2018. In the meantime, I had to incur over $300 additional costs in UBER charges (no rental car was available between Saturday 5/19/2018 to Tuesday 5/22/2018), plus a car rental of $308.40 from Tuesday 5/22/2018 to Tuesday 5/29/2018.
