Used HI Car Transport three times now and everytime it has been great. Super easy to get an estimate and book a rate. Dropping off at the port was also super easy. Keep in mind, they are only a booking agent. They don’t actually do the shipping and transport of the vehicles. I had an issue with damage on my vehicle but that was not HI Car Transports fault. The truck driver who drove from LA to DEN was super informative as well and kept giving me updates by text as he got closer. Cannot recommend them enough.

I must admit, I was very skeptical of this agency after reading the reviews. I took a leap of faith and had a great experience. When making arrangements, one must understand that Hawaii Car Transport is a third party agency. I dropped my car off at the MATSON terminal in Honolulu on 15 January (very smooth process). My car arrived to Fayetteville, NC on 09 February: one week earlier than projected. My car did not leave Honolulu until Monday, 18 January which was explained to me prior to dropping off. I did not have the bad customer service as mentioned in many reviews. In fact, the one time I did contact them I recieved an answer right away as to the status of my vehicle. Three days before delivery, the dispatch of the ground transport company called me with an expected arrival date and name of the driver transporting my vehicle. The driver contacted me 24 hours in advance to tell me exactly when he was arriving to Fayetteville and provided me with a meeting location of my convenience. I did not have a home address at the time for front door service, but I am sure he would have come to my home. My car was not damaged (that I currently see). I will tell anyone to look into thier damage coverage in the event something was to happen to your vehicle. If I remember correctly, I think it was only $1000 covered on their end. I encourage to verify. You should check with your insurance company to see if your vehicle is covered during transport; do not assume! Last, my truck was very dirty outside, but expected when being transported from California to North Carolina on an eighteen wheeler. I would recommend Hawaii Transport to anyone. It is at your own risk to see which experience you recieve. I am grateful my experience was hastle free!
