I called in and spoke to Mathew. I wanted to ship my car from Fremont to Los Angeles. Mathew advised me that it will cost $300 dollars. I paid $100 as a deposit. Mathew called me the following morning I was in a meeting I did not answer for 30 mins. I called back he said we found a driver for $100 more dollars than the promised price, but btw he is no longer available. I said sir that was not what you promised though, I had already told him that I had other offers for $400 and $350 that I did not want. He said that the best I can do, I advised him that if he does not get me a driver by 4pm I would cancel my service with them. He reached out and told me he had a driver for $150 more than what he had promised. I declined the service and asked him to refund me back my money. It has been a week of texting them everyday. It seems that their services are based out of India, no properly trained individuals or people that understand how the business and customer service works in the US.
They don’t deserve 1 star. On March 1, 2022 I signed a contract with a broker (iEZship) and paid a $150 deposit (via CashApp) for transportation of a vehicle from Austin to Amarillo that my fiance needed for work. The next day they accused me of working with another broker which I had not. Another broker put in my information to dispatch even though I told him repeatedly that I was not working with him and signed a contract with another broker, this was all a scam to raise the price. The IEZship rep, Steve Smith, said he would not honor the contract as it was written and refused to return my deposit. He raised the price of transport by $150, then said he would pay $75 out of his pocket. Did not believe that but he lowered the price. I had to sign a new contract. Per contract they had 15 days from date of deposit to transport the vehicle. The broker failed to fulfill the contract and is refusing to refund the deposit. I waited the full 15 days in the contract that was the allotted time for them to locate and assign a driver. The rep refused to give me a name of a driver or how to contact them. They are saying the driver called 6-7 times and did not reach me as I would not pick up the phone. Not once have I received any call, voicemail, text or email from any driver nor any information from the broker that a driver was assigned or any communication at all since March 4. During our conversations he stated that this is how things work with “this type of customer”. They are refusing to give the deposit back, per the contract they need to return it. I was told that they paid it to the driver and they can’t do anything about it since the driver said he called me. I told him that the contract was with him as the broker not the driver and that it was his responsibility to ensure that services in the contract were provided. These people are nothing but scam artists that steal your money. My fiance lost the job because they did not fulfill the contract and I could not go to anyone else to have it shipped.
