Shipping your vehicle can be a very frustrating and despairing process. There are hundreds of scammers out there and finding a legit reliable company is a grueling endeavor. I am lucky I found this company. To my understanding, they own their own truck and I wasn’t talking to some middlemen. I shipped my vehicle from North Dakota to Houston, TX and it took about a week; that’s the estimated time I was provided. I was always able to call someone and they would be able to tell me where my car was.
If I had to ship any other of my vehicles, I would definitely go back to these guys.
I contracted with J&S Transportation b/c my understanding was that they use their own trucks rather than brokers. I had a good experience, but the move was actually done by a company called “Umbrella” out of PA. It all went fine, but I wish someone had told me. It cost over $1000 to use J&S and “Umbrella” would have been less expensive.
I got the car just fine (dirty, but that is no surprise), but not really the arrangement that I paid for.
Joe at J&S kept me pretty well informed otherwise.
