Reliability and customer service are so hard to come by these days. These gentleman communicated so well, were thoughtful about different aspects of the move and gentle with furniture and new hardwood floors. Please don’t cheap out on a tip. When someone works this hard, they deserve to be recognized. If you can afford a mover, you can afford a generous tip. And give them a beer while you’re at it. Be a good human.
Even though the crew were “nice guys”, they did NOT take care of our household items. They neglected to place blankets around any of our furniture, washer, dryer, and our freezer prior to them using the shrink wrap. Additionally, these guys did NOT place any blankets on the floor of the truck before placing furniture down. They also placed heavy items on top of furniture, washer, dryer, and freezer which (of course) dented & scratched up these pieces. Finally, these guys did NOT ensure ALL items were secured in place with bungee cords/rope. Please reconsider using Moving Connections if you care about the outcome of your possessions.
Customer service They seem to just want money and they avoid questions regarding money. He just kept repeating four hour min instead of the price. Make sure you get the price. It was a male thy answered the phone he states that the rates in the summer are different than fall.
