Company completely flaked on me would not recommend doing business, I was on a tight timeline and they totally f’d me in the a
I had scheduled in advanced to get my car transported to a different state and was reassured there would be no delays by AJ Miller. I left a deposit (which I am now told is not recommended to do when transporting a car) to secure my service. The day before my car was supposed to get picked up I did not get a call from the driver or the broker AJ miller to let me know about a pick up time. Instead I called AJ Miller and he told me he wasn’t at his desk and would call me back….I did not get a call back or any update. Mind you I had plane tickets booked to leave to my destination in 2 days. I had to have someone else call him so he would answer my request until he admitted he did not have driver for me. I am beyond upset at the professionalism of this company. If there is no availability with the company they should let the customer know and be transparent instead I had to get someone else to call on my behalf and was left scrambling. Not okay and I still have not received my deposit. Negative stars if I could.
UPDATE! We are much happier. Nov 30 2021
I contacted the support for this company and Jennifer Green called us right away. She was apologetic about our experience with this company and assured us that she and management were looking into the conversations we had with the problem agent, Jason Hill.
The company agreed that they would pay the driver the portion of the money he was owed that we had lost through defaulting on our other contract (because this company removed our car without our permission), and that we would pay the remainder. We felt this was very fair and although it doesn’t necessarily make up for the stress, energy, and time loss, this company did the right thing by taking a loss (in this case) due to the actions of their “rogue” agent.
We are satisfied that corporate did what they could do to mend this situation as best they could. I hope that they will train their agents better so that other people won’t have to deal with this type of situation again because the action of their agent was both unethical and illegal. I can’t give the company five stars, but I have elevated it up to 3 stars, meaning “satisfied” with the resolution.
ORIGINAL (1 star). Nov 29 2021
We were getting quotes from various car shipping companies. After getting an initial quote, we decided to go with another company and put down a $250 deposit. Jason Hill, from NFL Transport (please note this company has a very similar name to two other transport companies with whom I do not have a complaint) insisted that we use his service when we spoke to him Sunday November 28, 2021.
We explained clearly that we had already signed a contract with a different company and would NOT be needing his services. He suggested that we default purposefully with the other contract and reverse the charges on our credit card (which was highly unethical to even suggest) and we refused.
On Monday, November 29, 2021, the next day, Jason’s Driver picked up our car from where it was parked unbeknownst to us, and the company we contracted with couldn’t find the car to transport! We were out $250. Lucky for us the other company didn’t go after us for the remaining amount.
Jason then proceeded to try and force us to pay an extra $100 to get our car and threatened to impound the car if we did not pay it (that’s above what we’d theoretically be paying the driver) even though NFL had NO PERMISSION AND NO CONTRACT with us. We are concerned this agent is scamming others and have contacted the authorities.
