Kathleen was nice enough to give me a call after reading the review and apologized for the bad experience. She offered to refund the $200 extra that I had to pay, which changed my review from 1/5 to 3/5 thanks to the considerate phone call and the refund.

Review:

I had a very unprofessional experience. The yelp reviews all seemed good and that’s why I picked this company, but it was a bad experience that cost me time and money.

I spoke with Kathleen who helped me set up the everything smoothly and I was given a “guaranteed quote” to transport my car from Long Island out west. I gave her a 4 day pick up window trying to ensure the pick up happens before I have to take my flight out. She said that sounds good and they would pick it up within that time range.

After calls throughout the week, they finally told me one day before my flight (this was the last day of the pickup time range) that I would need to drop off my car to New Jersey (which is a 2-hour drive) and that it would cost $200 more to ship it.

At this point, I had no choice but to agree with them. It was absolutely ridiculous to make me do 5-10% of the moving and to then increase the cost by $200 (or roughly 20%).

The only positive was getting my car in 7 days, the driver was good.

I wish there were more stars to give this company!! Very professional and extremely patient. All my questions and concerns were answered immediately.
