Jacob (516-417-8477) and I had a contract to deliver my car from San Jose, CA to Houston, Tx on July 11 for $789.
A deposit of $200 was paid via Vennmo. And the rest will be paid when the car is picked up and delivered. No pick up on July 11. He told me his driver is asking for $1500. I told him that’s between him and his driver. All I cared is $789. He asked me for 1 day delay. Same story next day. He asked for another day. Another day came, nothing happened. I told him after 2 extra days, he still didnot honor his contract. So I cancelled the contract (via text messages), and asked for the refund of $200 deposit. About 3 hours later, he said he found a driver that can do for $1000. I ignored. 10 days later, I reminded him to refund the deposit. He said it’s my fault. So now, a month later, that $200 is gone.

This company is running a simple scam.
1) They quote a low price they know they can’t achieve
2) Insist that a deposit be paid upfront
3) On the day your car is scheduled for pick up, they will claim the driver cancelled… The truth is there never was a driver
4) Insist you pay hundreds more for the new driver they found… This is the first actual driver
The scam is designed to secure your business with a false price, and then present the real price when you’re under time pressure. The time pressure is created by the scammer with the original lie, and then used as a tool to get you to pay the actual cost.
Don’t fall for it. But if you already have, let the contract run its course. They will not be able to find a driver at the agreed price. Then report the company to the authorities, see below for details.
You can also get your deposit back by starting a dispute, even with Venmo. Be sure to do so, so they will eventually be blocked from accepting payments through each institution.
The guy that runs the company is named Nick Devis, and his website is at https://premiumautoshipping.com. He should be in jail, and these scam companies should be shut down. Follow the steps below to make that happen as soon as possible.
