I would give a.5 impossible!!! I wouldn’t recommend this company to ship not even my enemies vehicle. They charge my card and never informed me that Tote had a barge on dry dock. If you have the option deal directly with Tote and avoid PR transport at all costs. Our friends were looking for a company and I told them that PR transport was a middleman and to go directly to the port and avoid these jokesters. Never ever again!!!

Hello, I’m looking to speak with Customer Support regarding a phone interaction recently. The individual was completely dismissive and rude to a retired veteran. What is going on there this Monday morning? In the past, I have had very pleasant interactions. This has prompted me to cancel the order! This should not be the way business is done, and surely not with a retired veteran as I am sure you have a bulk of your customers are veterans.

The only reason I gave them a two is because they turned out to be a legitimate business and in the end after 2 weeks of headaches and misinformation our shipment was finally accepted at the port. I don’t know what kind of upcharge these people make however we spent a week and a half going back and forth with probably every single person in their customer service center because after you talk to the sales guy then the only thing you can do is talk to customer service, if they call you and you missed the call get ready because you’re going to have to wait 30 minutes to an hour just to get somebody to answer the phone who is not going to have any idea about what’s been going on with your case, even if the last person you talked to promise that they would make notes. Even if the last person they promised to call your spouse should they miss you on the phone. Even if they know that you’ve already driven an entire day just to bring your shipment to the location and are literally sitting in it with no place to go. Even if they already have your credit card number and are charging you thousands of dollars. In the end they finally called me as I had pulled up to the Crowley Port complex after begging them to please tell me the general location of where I would be going so that I could be ready instead of 30 to 45 minutes away somewhere randomly in jacksonville. Previously they wouldn’t tell me where I was going until I was had to confirmed reservation. In the end they told me I was confirmed that they were sending me an email. That email had the numbers that I needed to give Crowley but absolutely zero instructions. No address, no forewarning that I was going to have to tell somebody no I do not have a TWC card and therefore pay $75 to have somebody escort me into the port which is a complete ridiculous play for more money. They also told me I could keep nothing in my boat could not cover my boat and could not lock my boat so we came unprepared to do so and at the Port saw lots of people coming in with trucks and boats full of taped up boxes. They didn’t tell us we could take two of us into check in the boat so we had no way to get the boat covered and while we’re sitting there trying to figure it out they tell us we could have had two people. Now this was Crowley but somebody from Puerto Rico car transport could have prepared us accurately. All of this after we spent the prior week with each different customer service and Logistics person telling us we could have only one person on the title, to we should definitely add the second person on the title because we needed to get an EIN in their name, too we should scratch off the second person’s name because we needed to get an EIN number in the other person’s name, since their name was first it made them primary. And then somebody told us that we needed a scratch off the primary person’s name because we had an EIN in the secondary person’s name. I promise you I am not exaggerating this has to have been the largest amount of money I have paid for such a lack of service and utter frustration. For the record if you’re dropping off a boat and trailer you will be going to 1163 Talleyrand and if you’re dropping off your vehicle you’ll be going to 2831 Talleyrand. After a week of telling us that we will be shipping on one day and having it arrive a few days later, all of our tracking information still says it’s not shipping until a week to two weeks later and arriving the third week, this with our boat completely uncovered and unsecured. When we left Crowley the woman told us it should be shipping as we expected. When I had called to ask about this to Puerto Rico car transport they in the last 3 days refused to answer any questions until we had all of our paperwork sorted out through the port. And in the end we had the paperwork sorted out and approved through the port moments before we were supposed to be there, we’re told that they were emailing us information, and they never responded to emails or the questions. Never ever again. The people at Crowley consistently rolled their eyes when we told them that we had booked with this company and the last person we spoke to apologized on their behalf even though it’s not her company but since we have been juggled around so much she waved one of our escort fees. Figure out how to call Crowley directly I’m not sure if their customer service is any better but at least they gave us some directions for the Puerto Rican side pickup
