‼‼their method is simple. generate fake 5 star reviews on every website to appear as a trustworthy company on the surface. once you dig deeper you start seeing the cracks. ‼‼
‼‼ read fake reviews. they post fake ones every day to bury the real reviews and experiences. the amount of daily reviews is a red flag‼‼
‼‼ sort by lowest rating. they all say the same thing. bait and switch tactic. go to their facebook. go to their bbb page. you’ll see how fake this company is ‼‼
1)this company is a pure scam. based out of an apartment. look at the address. the first red flag was all the fake reviews that google is allowing. if you look closely you’ll see that over 90% of them are new accounts with only 1 review. these reviews were all created by this sham auto broker. the most generic english names and hints of repeated broken english were another sign.
2) your agent will copy and paste grammatically correct responses. they’re never available when you try to call them. when you ask questions outside the script their fake agent persona breaks down and you realize exactly who you’re dealing with. dont listen to all these fake agent names like “bob”, “christian”, “kevin”, “richard” etc. they’re all the same person.
3) they don’t honor the contract you sign. call your bank for a chargeback on the deposit. i was quoted $900 for a move. once the driver showed up he doubled the price to $1800. the driver wanted cash payment with no receipt. i reached out to the agent and he didn’t care at all. the first $200 deposit is their commission. everything else is due to the driver. once you pay they don’t care.
4) they prey on your lack of time. once the driver shows up it’s probably too late for you. you have no choice but to pay up. you probably have a flight to catch or have to leave town to your next destination. they won’t give you the company information until the day of pickup so can’t call in to confirm the final price. you don’t even know whos picking up your vehicle until the day of
5) do not do business with these scammers. they generate fake reviews every day to bury the real 1 star reviews and reach out to google to delete them as well.
edit: this company continues to harass me from different numbers trying to get me to remove my negative review. i will continue to edit and bump this review to the top so everyone can be aware of how scummy this company is. they even threatened me with phony legal action.
If you understand how the transportation system works, then Safeeds did the best they could with my situation. However, it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, and I stressed all week, only to have Jeff hit a home run in the 9th inning.
My first driver cancelled on me, with no declaration of refusing to pick up. This was causing me anxiety because I needed to ship my vehicle on Monday before my flight, and receive the car Tuesday morning. I texted Jeff (The broker who I was corresponding with), and on Monday morning, he was able to find me a replacement driver who would agreed to my terms. Dispatcher texted me for confirmation of pick up and drop off addresses, and we were set.
Driver showed up (albeit an hour late), took pictures, and we both signed off on the contract (electric/on their phone). The next day, drivers texts me his ETA, and he arrives (albeit an hour late, but LA Traffic is LA Traffic) and he unloads my car, he takes pictures, and we sign off again.
Upon completion, Jeff may have relayed my information to their manager Richard Kane, who wanted to follow up with me and my experience. He wanted to ensure that the cancellation was an anomaly, and that he appreciates my business. To me, that is what I call great customer service, and I appreciate Richard for his concern.
You should feel confident in using Safeeds as your broker, as they will go the extra mile.
