Found TLA (Transport Luxury Auto) via a Google search and saw it’s many top rated reviews. I was skeptical as I hadn’t seen any reviews or heard of them anywhere else, and from the multitude of other vehicle shipping companies with unbelievably poor reviews I had come across through various internet searches, emails, and phone calls, I was already extremely doubtful.

I’m glad I took the leap and tried this company out, they truly proved to be extraordinary in reliability, efficiency, and even (to an extent) in price.

I needed my 2005 Ford Mustang to be shipped from Northern New Jersey (Boonton, NJ) to the East Coast of Florida (Jupiter, FL). The time frame I gave them was no more than two weeks. I spoke to an agent named Jackie who advised me he could do the shipment for $750 and my car would arrive no later than 4 days from the time we spoke. It was shipped open container, the less expensive of the two options. Jackie surely kept his word and the car was delivered promptly on the 3rd day, without any damages to the vehicle or hassles in any area.

In short, I was extremely impressed. TLA’s services were outstanding and I highly suggest giving them a call for your cross country vehicle shipping needs.

At first Jackie’s enthusiasm was appreciated. We needed to get our car moved across country with a one-week window. After receiving our deposit, things started going haywire. First, he called me back several times (while at work) trying to get me to reschedule the delivery dates. When I stopped answering, he started calling my husband. My husband agreed to alter our desired dates to fit their schedule. When the driver showed up to get the car, he was extremely unprofessional. No introduction. No handshake. He immediately started asking for payment arrangements. (We already arranged with Jackie.) Long story short, he walked off telling us to find some other way to get our car to California. We left a voicemail for Jackie explaining the situation and located another mover. (It was Saturday. We didn’t expect him to return our call until Monday.) Jackie did call back that evening, but we explained we had another mover and we were cancelling his contract due to his driver’s behavior. He called us back multiple times, emailed us bad-mouthing the new vendor we selected, etc. Professionalism totally out the window. Of course, he is still refusing to return our $300 deposit, saying it was our fault we broke the contract without letting him find another driver first.
