I had requested our car be transported from Long Beach to Pompano Beach, Florida.After having an issue with Montway where they changed a quote by $350 we went to Ultimate Transport in Baldwin. Spoke to salesman Steve who said that they weren’t like all these other transport companies. After speaking to Steve I received a call the next day from Michelle who said she had found a driver for me and that he would call the next day to arrange a pickup time. I had told Michelle that the car had to be picked up by tomorrow as we had a flight reservation down to Florida the next day. The driver Jorge called me and said he would pickup between 3 and 6 pm. Earlier possibly. 4 pm the next day after not hearing from Jorge I called him and asked what was going on. He explained that he had transmission problems and couldn’t get to me until tomorrow(thanks for letting me know). We now had to cancel our flight after already checking in. OK. Next day I received a call from Jorge who said he wasn’t going to make that day either. At this point I went ballistic and called Ultimate Transport and asked to speak to a manager. I was then given over to Josh who was absolutely useless in resolving the issue. Ultimately I was given a new driver. The new driver named Devon never called at all. When I called him I left a message on his voice mail. No call. I looked up the carrier he represented online I saw that the number was the same number that Ultimate Transport people had given me. I got Devon on the phone and he asked me to text him the pickup address(didn’t Ultimate Transport give him that address??) and somebody would be there that night to pickup the car. NOBODY showed up and I again had to cancel a flight I had already checked in for. I then decided to drive my car myself from NY to Florida. I am now OUT the $225 deposit I gave Ultimate Transport. This experience was beyond anything I have ever dealt with and I have not received ANY followup from Ultimate Transport. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE to transport ANYTHING!!!! I wish I could somehow give negative stars to this group of incompetent rip off artists.

The initial contact was great. What I didn’t like was that I had to call and follow up several times to find out when my vehicle was going to be picked up. I had called a month in advance to have my vehicle transported, but it took them until the last day from when I wanted my vehicle picked up. They also quoted me one price and when they called me to pick up my vehicle their price changed, when I told them that they quote me x amount, the dispatcher told me due to the short of drivers the price changed. Since I needed my vehicle transported and I needed it picked up, I had to agreed to the new price. I received my vehicle seven days later. The driver was very professional and courteous. We agreed to a meeting point since his truck was to big to travel on my street and off loaded the vehicle. The vehicle was handled with care and made it in one piece. All and all I was happy with the service.
