DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY LIE EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY. If they tell you something : presume it is a lie. They will tell you anything you want to hear. AND they will text you a link to a BOGUS SITE which has good reviews.
Read the REAL reviews. All of them mirror my own HORRIBLE experience.
I was CRYSTAL CLEAR I intended to pack my car before shipping it from LA to FLA…. They said ‘no problem’ and promised (by text, on the phone AND in writing) there would be no extra charge. (the actual transport company charged me – or my car would still be stuck in LA)
I was CRYSTAL CLEAR their service was door-to-door AND once they set the pick up date that I would be buying a plane ticket : they said ‘no problem” (even though I added TWO buffer days beyond the sked p/u – I ended up having to enlist the help of a friend to meet the driver – who then had to Uber back to his own car AND I had to get a friend to drive & meet the driver in FLA)
I was CRYSTAL CLEAR that I would only be charged the initial deposit AFTER / UPON my car getting picked up (they charged it the same day I signed the ‘contract’)
And the moment they have your deposit – and problems start – count on your “broker” to GHOST YOU. The guy I had was CASEY – who promised to walk me through every step of the way. When the problems started – he stopped replying altogether – despite desperate, frantic pleas for help.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Contact an actual freight company and not a Broker.
Zero Stars for this company. Where do I begin??? Let me start by saying, anyone who considers using this company to transport their car should consider seeing a psychiatrist first. I just returned home from Florida. I’ve been there since December 2022. I guess you could call me a “snow bird”;. I signed a contract with Tobey B. (a broker for Ultimate Transport) in October 2022 to have my 2 vehicles shipped round trip from New Jersey to Florida and back. The price we agreed on (signed in the contract) for both cars) was $3,300. Now, understand that this company’s sales pitch is they are the only company that GUARANTEES their price in a signed contract. Well, this is one of the many LIES that this company is noted for. The process of getting my cars back to NJ almost put me in the insane asylum! In fact, the last 2 days prior to my leaving Florida was spent back and forth on the telephone with the incompetent representatives from Ultimate Transport 123 trying to get a date (before my flight) to have my cars transported. The answer I kept getting every time I called was, “We’re working on it.” More LIES!!! And try to get a hold of a manager or supervisor on the phone. You’ll get the same answer, “They’re on a break, ” they’re in a meeting,” “they’re on the other phone,” and last but not least, “they’ll call you back.” It NEVER happened!! I did everything possible to get a definite time and date to have my cars picked up. My broker, Tobey B. refused to answer my calls, return my emails, and return my voice messages. Gee, I wonder why??? GUILTY AS SIN!!! The bottom line here is in order for me to get my cars transported back home in a reasonable time and day, I had to pay an additional $800. By the way, I left on Thursday, May 4th to catch my flight, and my cars still weren’t picked up. Thankfully, a neighbor I just met this year volunteered to give the keys to the driver, 2 days after I left!!! I had no choice but to agree to sign a “new” contract for the additional charge of $800 if I wanted my cars back in a reasonable time. Who know if my cars would have still be sitting in Florida if I didn’t come up with the $800. In summary: This company should be sued. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. Their representatives are working remotely from different locations throughout country and are very unintelligent. They all are trained to LIE. And last but not least, one of my cars arrived with a very loud rattling sound after it was taken off the trailer and I drove it back to my home. I contacted the driver of the trailer. Unfortunately, he didn’t know what to tell me. Was he going to admit it was his fault? Of course not! People reading this. DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY TO TRANSPORT YOU VEHICLE. THEY MIGHT OFFER YOU THE CHEAPEST PRICES, BUT THEY ARE FULL OF S**T!!! LIARS, LIARS, LIARS!!!!!!
This is my honest experience and no one paid me to write this. PLEASE do NOT give these people your business. They will tell you that other companies charge you up front and never pick up your car and that is exactly what they did to me. They will lie to you and make it seem like they have their own drivers but they use third party carriers just like everyone else, and charge you double their rates. It’s honestly been so shocking to me how shameless these people are. They will use the term “guarantee” but that means nothing. Getting your money back from them is impossible. They will blatantly lie about what they did to your credit card company and even the Better Business Bureau. They say the only way they will give back your refund is if you agree to never write a bad review so as bad as their reviews are, there’s way more negative experiences with Ultimate who just didn’t want to deal with them anymore and agreed not to say anything to get their money back. There’s way more respectable shipping companies at half the price who are more honest and trustworthy. If anything happens to your car while in their care you’re on your own. If this is how they act trying to get a deposit back I’m glad I didn’t risk losing my whole car.
