My boyfriend recently took a job in Seattle and needed to move out of our Brooklyn apartment earlier this month. A colleague of mine who’s relocated a bunch of times recommended a few movers that deliver across the country and Xtreme Movers was one of them. I was hesitant to go with them based on some of the poorer reviews, but my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by how straightforward the experience was. We had a bit of wiggle room re: budget, as my boyfriend’s company was paying some of the relocation fees, which was good. We packed all of our own belongings, but ordered a ton of packing supplies from Xtreme Movers to simplify things. Nothing we had was super precious, but our furniture was treated with care and arrived all in one piece and in a timely manner! The movers were friendly enough, but my boyfriend and I really appreciated the efficiency and professionalism at a time that was pretty stressful for the both of us. Definitely look into them if you’re prepping for a cross country move!
