AA Car Transport LLC

So I'm writing this review not as a consumer but as a contractor that transported a load for fleet express auto transport. Richard the one who seems to be in charge of this company, who is anything but a legit business owner. As I mentioned before. I was contracted to move a vehicle and the job was completed without any concerns. the customer paid Richard and Richard text me that he would pay my company for the load. Well that conversation was on June 28th 2023. It is now July 20th 2023. My company has not been able to contact richard to receive payment due to richards lack of business ethnics. He will not answer call, text messages and emails. Richard seems to be a small, shallow, coward of a businessman. This is not personal, this is business. If you are in business and cant pay your bills then your wrong. So warning to transporters who are moving loads for this guy richard, you may not get your pay. Do not business with this company. I will be contacting the FMCSA for further instruction for getting payment owed to my company.

It was my first time buying a car totally online over Facebook Marketplace. I am based in St. Louis, Missouri and the car I was buying was in Chicago, IL about 4/4.5 hours away. I figured out the details for purchase and payment with the seller of the vehicle and needed to get the car shipped to me as I did do not own a trailer - and it doesn't run and drive so could not drive it back home. Towing the car here myself using a Uhaul rental would cost me almost double of what Safeway Car Transport quoted me. I was very happy with the service. I spoke with Mike over the phone after getting an online quote from them. Read some reviews online about them and trusted my gut and went with Safeway Car Transport. They found someone to pickup my car within 1 day of putting my deposit down. Car was delivered the next day as promised by the trucker who picked up my vehicle. Every transaction went smoothly. The driver also was cooperative and kept me updated on when he would reach me. I will definitely be using this company in the future if I need. I recommend them 100%.

He could tell I was frustrated, looking for a straightforward no BS answer and that's what he gave me. He quoted me a price, no lines or BS and that was the price he was able to get it done for. Everyone else was walking up the price and couldn't get the trip booked, all sorts of excuses. Here's the killer, he wasn't the most expansive and whether by luck or skill he got the truck shipped the same day we spoke. Two other brokers had the order for 2 weeks and couldn't get it done, but these guys pulled it off.



So, we set this up on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon and Mike tells me it will be to you Friday. Now I am expecting that to be a week and 3 days away, but nope Mike tells me no this week. Now I don't believe him, but the truck shows up on Saturday the same week. Ok its technically a day late from what he told me, but there was a snowstorm in the area where it came out and it's a full week ahead of my expectation, plus the driver called to tell me they were delayed, which I fully understand. You have to expect delays when you ship a vehicle due to weather, breakdowns, accidents on the road and other unforeseen issues. The thing that counted is Safeway got it done, they didn't waste my time and they came in at a reasonable price with no hidden fees or price increases.

Also, the driver requested to bring cash and at the moment of pick up he didn't want to take the 100$ bills claiming they are fake.

I had to show him the receipt from the bank so he would believe me. This really made me upset, I mean I already gave them a down payment prior to shipping the car and my new address, where the car was actually delivered, how can I give them fake money?



Overall I got very frustrated with the entire process.

I ended up paying 150$ more than quoted and stressed until the last moment my car won't be shipped prior to my departure.

I made a payment before my vehicle was picked up from CA, but there was a shortage in carriers leaving CA to bring my vehicle back to SC. In the end, this company was not the one to ship my vehicle due to the inability to find a carrier, but I have been waiting to get my refund back for over a month now. I just want to speak with someone, other than Mike, about why it's taking so long.

Mike Newsome was awesome in trying to get the best rate and time for transporting a car from Chicago to LA. Will definitely plan to use him again for future transports.

These people only want your money. I wish I went with another shipping company to avoid all the headache. They're cheaper than the others but very unprofessional. Once they get your money, good luck. If you can afford to go with someone else, do. FYI after paying the deposit & they collect your vehicle, they expect the remainder to be paid in cash or check which they leave out and expect you to read in the terms. After I had already told Mike how I'd be paying the remainder of the balance, he assured me that was acceptable and it wouldn't be a problem. On the day of my vehicle delivery (which also took a lot longer than they said- another problem in & of itself) I was told that I couldn't pay with my card & that my car would be put in storage. I had to threaten to report my car stolen for them to take me seriously. & even after that I was assessed an additional fee on top of my balance. Had it been made clear to me how they wanted the remainder of the balance, I would have more than had the funds in the form of their request. I was honestly better off going with someone else who may have seemed to be more pricy because at the end of the day I ended up paying another vendors cost anyways- AND A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Mike in no way helped. In fact he denied our conversation about payment. Anyways, consider yourselves warned.

I see a representative has commented on my review and issued their statement saying that I was not found in their system. I will post previous emails from a conversation with **Mike** obviously not all emails because, at the time I was transitioning between being out to sea and coming back from deployment so some are not available since I no longer have access to that email.

I literally forgot a had a rough draft written up about this company, but I'm glad I'm able to post it now. This company completely screwed me over when I was transitioning from Washington (State) to Florida (2916. If I can remember clearly the person I spoke to name was Mike. I emailed them months prior to me moving to get an estimate which was a reasonable price compared to other companies. I was told I needed to send a deposit to hold my place for pick and I'd have to discuss a pick up date when it came closer to moving. THIS IS WHEN THINGS BECAME SHADY FOR ME AND SHOULD HAVE BEENA RED FLAG. I was told to call them about 3 months before me moving which I did in April. I was always sent to voicemail or the phone would just ring continuously. I tried emailing them as well and received no response back as well. I got a call maybe a month out from me moving saying I'd have to call the following week to schedule a pick up which again led to me calling multiple times with no answer. I went ahead and used another company who was more reliable, but I tried asking for my deposit back. They refused to issue my deposit and said it was too close to my pick up date (which was never set). Moral of the story is I was screwed out of a couple of hundreds and led on by crooks.

Very happy with the service that was provided I needed a car transported from Orlando to ny we had to reschedule and when we called to reschedule they quickly called us back car also arrived a day earlier then the rescheduled date and price was a lot lower then other quotes we where given once again very happy with the service that mike provided

I collect cars so I have used transport companies frequently. Upon buying an expensive classic Porsche, I needed to get it picked up quickly in Miami and shipped to Scottsdale, AZ. I contacted a big company that specializes in shipping expensive classic cars and was told they could pick it up "in two to four weeks." That was never going to work as I promised the seller that I would pick up the car within a week.

I contacted AA Car Transport hoping they could maybe pick it up and store it until a transporter could pick it up. I was blown away when they said they could pick it up that day and ship it directly to Scottsdale, AZ. And to add to that, their quote was $500 less than the big transport company. I had to delay them a day as I had not even paid for the car yet.

They showed up promptly the next day, put my car on a transporter with high-end Ferraris and Aston Martins, and it was on it's way. Since the other cars were going to California, my car was the last on and first off the truck. THE CAR ARRIVED ONLY 3 HOURS AFTER MY PAPERWORK ARRIVED VIA FEDEX. The driver drove over the weekend and only took a couple of workdays to arrive.

The driver was very patient as the battery had gone dead and we had to jump it multiple times to get it off the truck. The car was in perfect condition.

This was the best auto transport experience I have had in all the years I've been shipping cars.

I am not sure why the girl gave such a bad review. They are an excellent company with a professional secretary. I contacted them about a pickup and they were ready to get started immediately.

My car broke down on my way to Orlando, Florida for a trip and these guys helped me get the car to an auto shop. They also provided me with a nice, well-maintained car for me to use while I was on the trip.
