AAA Auto Transporters
Customer Reviews
dont return phone calls and hire sub contractors that damage your car!!
I would like to say that this is the absolute worse transporters service that I've ever had to use. Before I start with my comment, let me just say it started off great! I was told that I would have my car the very next day and it was coming from Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225 to shoreline. Come to find out that was a complete bullshit lie! I told the guy that it would take days for me to get my motorcycle. He said no it wouldn't and he's been working with these guys for years. Okay so days pass and still no word on a date for my bike. Eventually I talked to the driver and his boss. I had a better conversation with those guys than the idiot from AAA. I understand that this is a business and we all want it to run smoothly. But, when you start to put the blame on everybody else and not yourself it becomes a problem. I really wanted to leave a great review but there's absolutely no possible way I can show happiness to someone who just wants to take your money then not take the blame for his mess ups! He could've given me a discount but he's so damn money hungry that he didn't care! So that means that I CAN'T CARE for this company. I'm really pissed off. I don't write many reviews but Luke, which is his name, is very sloppy when it comes to business. One last thing... when you're doing business with someone, PLEASE don't refer to them as "brother." Just do your damn job and make the people happy. That's what you're in the business for, right?!
Thanks!
Like you said and it should be in the file that I get 50%. It's should be 75% for the bs I went through! Can't show love to a taker...
Thanks again!

*Would post the pictures but I believe my words works great!*
Last week we had our car transported by their company from California to Florida and we had a great experience with them. Isaac kept me updated with the status and the price was great comparing to other transporting companies. Our car was delivered on time as they promised. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews here. So my family is really satisfied with their service. It's a well deserved 5 star review.
This place is a joke. Completely wasted my time. After booking my vehicle for transport, And 3 days after the scheduled pick up, the driver of the truck asked me for
Picture of my vehicle, after which I was told it was too big for their transport vehicle. What a joke. Who doesn't disclose dimensions before booking. The vehicle was completely stock so it wasn't that.
No communication. As I am leaving my review still no contact. Not very professional.. and completely ridiculous! They claim great ratings!? What a joke for a company. Don't forget to also file a complaint with BBB and not just on here. So we can expose them for the real service they provide. Lucky for me, I used my American Express so I filed a charge back and got a refund. Don't use your debit card with them, use a credit card so you can file a charge back if they don't do their part!
This company is a joke. Unreliable and conveniently doesn't answer your phone calls when it comes around time to ship your vehicle. We told them we went with a different company and we no longer needed their services and they still charged us $150 (which the original price upon pick up we were told $99 ONLY) we were told we'd get a full refund by a guy named Carlos in 3 days and never received that. After calling many times we are now told we can only be refunded $50. The boss was rude, did not care to listen, just wanted to argue with me. They are scammers and you should just save your money, time and energy and go with a company who will actually get things done. Glad to see it isn't just me who doesn't trust this company. You should be able to rate it zero stars.
I booked with this company to have my car transported from Queensland to Melbourne. If you haven't yet booked a transport company, I would say, save yourself the hassle and book with people that actually know what they are doing.
My car was picked up from my home in Queensland on a Wednesday and taken to the yard, and there it sat for the next 5 days presumably collecting dust! It wasn't so much that there were numerous delays, or even the fact that my car that was supposed to come down in 5 days, didn't! It was more the fact that there was an absolute lack of communication on the part of the owner. Their sorry excuse of customer service was pathetic and so frustrating to deal with. I would have to ring at least three to four times a day to get scraps of information. And when my car did finally arrive, it looked like it had just been transported through a mud fight, it was disgusting. I have never before had the misfortune of dealing with people who, it seemed, went out of their way to make things impossible, it was certainly an eye-opening experience.
I contacted this company on the 03.12.18 and was quote $1,400 inc gst to transport my car.As the next few days went on I was hounded and pestered by phone to pay the amount up front in full otherwise I wasn't going to get the job done due to the time of year. Out of worry and being pestered significantly I reluctantly paid the mount in full on 13th December after being told that the amount has now gone up to $1650 including gst because it was getting closer to the date. I was not sent any contract or terms and conditions and did not sign anything. (Silly me)
Once I had paid IN FULL a few days later I was then called on 17th December and demanded that they collected the car NOW as the "train had come in" and if I wanted it to be delivered on time I would need to give up my car today with the items packed in and ready to go otherwise they couldn't guarantee this would happen.
I was not ready to give up my car 10 days earlier than what I had agreed and paid for in full as I had personal commitments all over Christmas which meant I needed my car to drive to family events. I was in the car with my partners mum and my partner who heard the conversation and were very shocked at the level of service not to mention the interrogative manner who were also concerned for me that my personal items would get there or not.
I advised the man on the phone I wasn't able to accommodate right now and stuck to my guns and told him again that I had agreed and paid for 27th pick up date and delivery first week of January which is what I still require. The man on the phone reluctantly agreed and ended the call abruptly.
On the 20th December my plans changed unexpectedly and therefore I advised aaa transporters immediately. I was told I was not entitled to any kind of refund at all and not offered any kind of solution.
Disgusting attitude, treatment and lack of service from start to finish and how they treated me let alone the lack off diligence with the administration, contracts and terms and conditions and now they are keeping 100% off my money for something that I never even used. This doesn't seem fair or right. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Christopher Delany, an employee of AAA transporters, refused to answer my questions. Completely dumbfounded by the situation.
Buyer beware! This is a company that doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I had an expensive car transported from Maryland to Florida in an open truck. So the expectation was to receive the car in the same condition when it was picked up, other than the usual weather related/transportation dirt. But no, the car came covered in transmission fluid from the vehicles above it! There was so much of it, that the car was actually dripping the fluid. To the company, this was "normal." No it isn't normal. Normal is weather related dirt on the car. Normal is not a car covered in transmission fluid. So rather than spending $25 for a car wash, I had to spend over $150 in carefully detailing the exterior of the car to remove all the "gunk" that had dried on all exterior surfaces and remove the actual fluid that accumulated in the gap between the hood and rubber gaskets. The company assumed no responsibility for this, none whatsoever. To them, the car was placed in the best location of the open truck, lower level and upfront, to protect against tree branches and rocks, but not against any fluids such as hydraulic, brake, transmission, or even gasoline leaked from the vehicles above! I've had many cars transported before over much longer distances. ALL cars arrived in the same condition as when they were picked up, except for the expected weather and road dirt on them. NONE covered in ANY fluids!
Stay away from them!
I would give this 0 stars if I could. Customer service is almost non-existent. They're almost unreachable. Still waiting on my car... it's been a month.
I had a great experience with them. They just helped me ship my car from Upstate New York to Portland, Oregon. I was very gun shy at first - I'd never shipped a car before, the broker situation was new to me, and felt really weird.
The (very patient) manager talked me thru the pieces, and continued to check in with me throughout the process. My car arrived early (it was wintertime, so that was a huge surprise), and the company communicated with me throughout.
Their are other companies out there choose someone else. This company is very deceptive and makes you think they have a fleet of drivers, but in fact they just pull from the same pool of drivers that the rest of the brokers do. However, they will adamantly deny being a broker. They are all brokers, the difference in price between companies is determined by the broker fee and the driver standards they set.
If you ask simple questions like that most can and should be able to answer, they try to pivot. For example, what is your broker fee? "We aren't brokers." "Driver take care of us on the back end afterwards." Other companies are transparent about this and for some reason AAA isn't. My guess is it is a disaster waiting to happen. Next question: what is your claim process in the event that something happens in transit out of the control of the driver (rock, tire debris, act of God)? "Just give us a call and we can work it out later." "We are bonded with $1.5 million." Or my favorite, "It's between you and the driver, and if you don't take delivery due to damage, the driver will put it back on the truck and have it fixed". Although some of this may be what comes with the experience of shipping a car, I do not feel comfortable leaving questions unanswered and surely am not about to enter into situation that looks like a vehicle ransom waiting to happen.
They are all brokers at this price range. What sets companies apart is their fees, level of customer service, separate claims department to interact with clients after delivery, driver standards, and their reputation. Do your homework, choose a different company. "Sergio" will get the same $$$ from whatever broker you go with.
Unbelievable shipping experience. Brokered a vehicle shipment from Seattle to Los Angeles with AAA Transporters. I was led to believe that if I paid a higher price that would guarantee the vehicle would ship on time. What a scam!! It's been four days and the car hasn't shipped. Now I'm told the car will leave the following day making it five days. So incredibly frustrating. My AAA Transporters contact, Michael Coote, said he would take care of my transport, insuring me it will leave and arrive on time. He collected my deposit and I haven't heard from him since. All the info I've received has been prompted by myself. I will never use this company to move anything of mine in the future.
Do not use! If you ask for a qoute these people are going to spam your email and phone at all hours and if you call to confont them about it they lie and deny it to your face. Number they text from is 267-859-2134. If you call it they lie to your face and say they dont text from this number.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was at work today and my husband and I are moving in a month. I filled out the "Request Quote" information online and within 5-7 minutes I became bombarded with phone calls (2), e-mails (6), and texts (3). I clicked to unsubscribe from their e-mail list, and the second I did, I got another e-mail. I called the number listed on the e-mail and explained my situation to the man on the phone (Jason), who began to laugh at me and said "maybe you shouldn't list your contact information then". I asked to speak to his manager and he hung up. A totally disrespectful experience and I would never, ever spend my hard earned money with them. Plenty of other professional companies to work with.
I got an aggressive and enthusiastic call from these folks after posting my transport needs on some online website. They of course, agreed to a 3 day pickup window, and promised that they had $1,500,000 insurance for damamge (I should have know right there that was a number they just pulled out of the air).. NO ONE has that level of coverage.
Needless to say, the 3 days came and went with no further communication, and my phone message left with the original dispatcher still remains unanswered a week later. I finally gave up and found another carrier who provided what they promised.
To add insult to injury, I am STILL getting the automated emails from the company, telling me how wonderful they are.. any reply to those apparently just go into a big black hole.
I would never use these guys again.
