Able Auto Transport

NEVER, NEVER trust Able Auto Transport to get your car delivered. I placed an order in March to have a car delivered from Florida to Wisconsin. Car was to be picked up April 9-12-18. I flew down to get the car on the truck. No truck was available was all they would say, BESIDES HONEY, SWEETIE AND OTHER NICE WORDS TO COAX YOU ALONG. As of today, May 15 still no car and no definite answers. What a BS company. I booked with another company today. Do your homework before booking with them, they do not own any trucks. They give you a low quote and then try to find another company to haul it for them, if no one accepts there low ball offers your vehicle will just sit there. Company name should be "UNABLE" AUTO TRANSPORT INC I Would rate them as a minus 10. I asked to talk to to the owner and was told NO this is not possible. Was forced to give it one star in order to leave a review.

We made our reservation well in advance, and like other reviews, they failed completely in making our requested timeline. In spite of repeated calls, the only answer that we could get was that they could not find someone going through our area. However, they kept reassuring us that they would be able to come through. In the end, the car had to be driven three hours to a larger city to find someone to transport the car. This was three weeks after we had moved to our new home on the other side of the country, and nearly a month beyond our promised pickup date. Then, the delivery driver would not bring the car to the delivery location, saying that they couldn't go down the road. The experience caused tremendous stress during an already difficult time. I absolutely would not recommend this service to anyone, and there is no chance in Hades that I would even consider using them again.

Process was a little loose as far as scheduling timelines which seems to be the nature of the game. Driver was a bit short until I met him, at which point he was more interested in working with me. Drivers could be a little more understanding of lead time. Price quoted was increased at the last minute by $70 which wasn't that much but seems to be a trend based on other reviews. Car arrived on time and overall in good shape. I would use you again if needed.

I've shipped three vehicles over the last few years and this was easily the best move based on price as well as meeting the requested delivery date.

We sold our car in Cape Cod to a friend in Texas. I think its enough to say it is now 5
weeks later and still no success. We were told if we moved the car to an open location in Boston it would be easier to find someone to pick it up. We did so last week and still the company will not answer our calls. Awful service...called another and they are not much better.

wish there were zero stars... much like everyone else on this list the service was horrendous, the only contact was when i called them, they were so late i had to pay $300 for a rental car for a week and then we ended up canceling everything with them and driving down.. wouldn't use them if you paid me to..

This company is terrible. DO NOT DO BUSINESS. I filed a BBB complaint, below, and they lied in their response to the BBB. This company is fraudulent, weak, and irresponsible. Let me quote one line for you from their response to my compliant:

They should be ashamed.

This auto transport company is horrible!! They didn't pickup our car until almost 2 weeks after our scheduled pickup date. They can't answer any of your questions and the customer service is terrible. They do not help out the military anyway and have no militry discounts. I recommend you DO not use Able Auto Transport.

Hired them to transport a car from DE to CA. They promised prompt pickup and delivery, but 30 days later still waiting for action. At one point I offered them additional money and they actually re-rote my contract and added money to their initial quote, but this did not help. Not one time they called with updates, I had to call and check with them every single time. They are brokers who pocket a commission of your fees and sit behind a desk calling actual transport companies to do the work.
After 5 weeks of waiting they agreed to refund my deposit and went with Golden Key Express (goldenkeyexpress.com/aut…) which delivered the car in 10 days.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM. The delay costing me beaucoups money.
