My car was delivered with rock chips in the paint and front windshield. Looks like they drove on gravel road. Aterus refusing to pay for the damages. You would think they are insured. Apparently not.

The worst company ever! they have no care and will deliver you a dirty car with damage and try to pass it off. Trying to get ahold

of anyone there takes a miracle. Then even once you get someone they know nothing and just pass you along to more people who know nothing. They are incompetent and will waste your time. Everything about this place is low class and no standards.

Don't hire this company. They don't care about costumers and they don't pay to transportation company that's why only immigrants pick up their vehicles who don't even know dot rules. That's why they do damages on costumers cars. Again don't hire them if you don't want to see damages on yiru vehicles.

Acertus does not actually transport your vehicle. They contract independent drivers and blame them for the mistakes. It is very difficult to reach an Acertus employee by phone. We moved out of the state but Acertus did not pick up my vehicle on the day scheduled. I had to make arrangements with a family member to accommodate their mistake. The car was not delivered when promised, leaving us stranded for 48 hours without a vehicle at our new home. The vehicle was not picked up or delivered on the dates promised. The vehicle was not picked up or delivered at the times promised. It was extremely stressful.

I communicated via email with the CEO Trent Broberg about our situation. He response was "Thanks for the note and apologies for the situation. I assure you that we touch 2m VINs annually and this is not the way we do business. Let me have someone that can action asap reach out to you. Thanks" His reply shows a lack of concern for our situation. They may move 2m VINs, but I had one and they failed in their one job.

Con Artists but not very good at that either. Sent me a contract as though they had been contracted by my dealer to deliver my vehicle. Almost fooled me (not really). Stay away.

Communcation was great at first when booking transport for cross country.

Was contracted to pickup at one address and delivery to another. Driver called saying I have to meet him somewhere at 8:30 at night because his truck could not pickup at my place of business. I have deliveries often with 18 wheelers so unsure why this is so different. Regardless, it is not what was contracted and price based on.



I am now meeting at 7:30 am and have to arrange a ride. Was credited $50, I will post after the transport and experience that my son has when he is contacted as now told they may not be able to deliver where contracted as well.



First time having to use a transport company, I guess when a company says the quote is based on your information, you can't always trust they will deliver.

I was linked to Acertus via the PODS shipping company for a recent move. Getting started was easy - pricing was competitive... but, that's where the positives ended. We got a 5 day window for the pickup - I called on the first day of that window for an update and was told "it's not scheduled yet". Two hours later I got a call saying "we're in front of your house to pick up your car" with zero advanced notice. I parked the car in my neighbors garage because we were moving the next morning and it sure didn't sound like it was getting picked up that day... I was able to call my neighbor, he drove home from work, and we sorted it out. Frustrating but I was ready to give the benefit of the doubt.



Now, I was shipping a unique vehicle, a high performance convertible, and paid $2260 for a covered trailer from point to point. I took a photo of the odometer and off she went. We moved to our new home and I got a call stating the car was showing up around noon. At 3 I check for an update... it ended up getting delivered around 4. An inconvenience, but minor. The car is dropped off by a nice guy who spoke zero English (not a problem unless there's an issue) and the ODO has 8 new miles on it. I tried to ask how in the world someone drove my car 8 miles, but it was pointless with the driver since he didn't speak English.



So, it's pretty clear someone took my expensive, unique, and sentimentally significant vehicle for a joy ride somewhere in its journey. I messaged my POC with Acertus, provided photos of the ODO pre and post shipping, and clearly voiced my displeasure and was told, if approved, I could get "$.50 a mile, or $4 if my claim is substantiated". That's it. No apology, no acknowledgement this this is a serious issue, just MAYBE we'll refund you $4. I paid $2260 for door to door covered service and someone took my car for a joy ride, a la Ferris Beuller's Day Off... not likely driving it lightly... and I'm told "maybe $4 off"???



Absolutely horrible customer service and absolutely no care given for an egregious violation of the care of my vehicle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I so regret using this company to ship my brand new vehicle. They took 100% of the money immediately and then all communication ceased. They provided a range of dates when my car would be picked up and on the first day in that range, I called them repeatedly trying to speak to someone because I hadn't heard anything. I finally spoke to a human only to be told that they had no idea when my car would be picked up because they hadn't located a driver (why didn't they reach out to me to share this?). My car was eventually picked up and then I started getting texts from the driver with excuses why he was running behind for delivery on the other end. When I finally got my car back, I failed to notice that the sunroof was shattered because I am not tall enough to see it and the driver had pulled the inside screen hoping I wouldn't notice it from inside either. I drove 1.4 miles home and that's when I saw it. The photo in this review is what I saw when I got home and noticed the screen had been closed so I opened it. Of course my claim was denied even though the driver was unable to provide a picture of that area of the car from the delivery site. And of course I was never able to speak with a human during the claim review process. The collision repair owner said it was very clear something heavy had been dropped on the roof from above - not likely to happen in my 1.4 mile drive home.

If you need to transport a vehicle ABSOLUTELY DO NOT use Acertus. They are not honest or honorable and they are terrible even at the most basic communication.

Anthony who was contracted by Acertus did an outstanding job transporting my vehicle from California to Texas. His attention to detail and communication were great. The agents from Acertus were also very helpful and honest as well. My vehicle was delivered ahead of schedule and most importantly, in the same condition it shipped in. Overall a great experience from Acertus and from the the driver Anthony.

I never shipped a car before, and never will again, my wife and I should have just driven across county ourselves. They took our money immediately and gave us a window of when they would pick up the vehicle, that is when all communication stopped. I called numerous times and never got a firm date or time, on the final day I was informed a driver would pick my vehicle up between 1 and 4 to my complete surprise and relief, as we were moving the next day. Well we waited in a empty house all day, called numerous times and the driver finally contacted us and said would not be there until 11pm.

This was a huge hassle as we were flying out the next day, but whatever, we ended up meeting him at our hotel and had to get out of bed to take care of the pickup. When he finally arrived he said our car would be delivered across county on Monday, this was a Thursday. Then the excuse texts from the driver started rolling in, one after another. Needless to say, a week after the delivery date, $1000 in extra rental car charges, a cracked windshield and new dent on the wheel well later, we finally got our car.

This company was recommended by PODS, who so far has done a great job with our move, I strongly suggest finding another company for your vehicle moves though, Acertus flat out sucks.

Complete trash company, my car was supposed to be delivered on the 29th, then the 30th, then the 31st, then the 1st, and now the 2nd. Every time they tell me the same crap the driver is on the way to pick up my vehicle and then will be to me by the afternoon. Either we're stuck in the movie groundhog day or they're full of #$%. Staff are completely dismissive and couldn't care less. If I don't get my car tomorrow I'm opening a BBB case.

An absolutely terrible experience with this company. I have reached out so many time I've lost count. When I call I never get the right department and they always have to transfer me to a department that NEVER answers their phones. When I call back and tell them, they ask for my number and no one EVER calls me back.

I tried the chat feature, same problems. Wrong department, please give me your contact information so someone can reach out to you. They never reach out. It's been literally 3 months since I was set to receive my vehicle, and it took them 2 months to finally respond to me and tell me delivery would be sometime in the next two weeks. It's been 4 weeks now and I haven't heard a word from them, no update, can't call anyone, can't message anyone. It's ridiculous.

I cannot state this clearly enough, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

I made a Yelp account just to leave this review. I have never dealt with a company so egregious and despicable. My boyfriend and I are moving out of state and paid $3000 to have our 2 vehicles shipped, to be picked up today and delivered on 7/4. They happily took our money and the communication ended there. They hire independent contract drivers which in and of itself is no problem at all, but there is ZERO communication between Acertus and the customer. We have called 10 times a day for the last week and NO ONE ever answers. I don't believe any person actually works here at this point. The driver called us promptly today to come pick up the cars, but told us he had to deliver them to our new state on 6/29, not 7/4. We scheduled our entire move around the dates quoted to us by Acertus. The driver had to cancel our shipment and now we have no where to put our vehicles as we move in 2 days. I have never been more livid or horrified by a company in my entire life. We are filing a dispute with our bank and will NOT cease to pursue this with Acertus. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! If we can prevent anyone from dealing with what we've had to dealt with our job will be done!!

My fleet car management service used Acertus to deliver my company vehicle. I was a bit leery when I read the negative reviews, but I had an excellent experience with them.
To start, the dealership which provided the car apparently would not hold it until a permanent license plate was received. My corporate policy will not allow me to drive with a temporary plate. Innocent, a dispatch manager in Indiana was instrumental in managing the transport of the car to a storage lot until I received the permanent plate. Heather, an account manager followed up to ensure I received the plate before arranging a time for the vehicles transport. Innocent then scheduled delivery with a driver named Dillion. He arrived timely at my home, even earlier than expected and was very courteous and helpful, giving me some tips about the features of the car. I also received a condition report with pictures of the vehicle via email.
I would not hesitate to use this company again if I was in need of vehicle transportation.
In response to other reviews, I was able to call the company and speak with a live person each time I had a question (including Innocent, the dispatch manager).

Pushy company. They don't explain policies. Everything is either done through text. They don't respond on a timely manner. Unorganized with useless "learning modules " .. the drug screening was a JOKE ! That I legitimately thought I would have to pay out of pocket. I was going to accept the job offer but thankfully I didn't not join their driving team.

This company was hired by LAURA GMC to find transport of a 21 Denali HD to NY(LI). Mind you they are just a broker and hired and incompetent company. Relocation Express llc out of PA. First the they told me they will let me know when they pick up the truck and when to expect delivery. Mind you I get a call at 3pm that my truck will be delivered at 7pm same day. I was in NYC for a meeting and had to rush home to only find my truck destroyed by a bridge.
Relocation Express llc hired by ACERTUS destroyed my 21 Denali HD by hitting a bridge. Truck should have never been on the top in the first place. That's what happens when you rush and get complacent. Owner told the driver to tell me to take the truck and fix it they will pay. Yea that's what I'm going to do on a 82k truck that was special ordered. Stay far far away.

This by far has been THE worst experience working with MetroGistics now operating as ACERTUS Vehicle Shipping company. The photos of the message explain everything that I have been dealing with and I will continue to get the word out of this UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE until my vehicle is in my possession. Sad, very sad! Their website reflects 2 stars and they honestly do not deserve even 1 star!
This company is contracted by Auto Nation and there isn't anything Auto Nation can do, but I will get to the bottom of this mess if it takes me all damn day!
