All American Transport
Customer Reviews
I scheduled 2 weeks ago, heard nothing on date for pick up, I had to call them. They didn't have a vehicle, there's was down, they then offered another company for more money. I declined and asked them to find another driver for quote they gave me. Day 2, I had to call again in the afternoon, asked if they had it scheduled. Paul told me that because I didn't want the option yesterday (more money than they quoted) they didn't have a driver to pick up as scheduled. He continued to get more belligerent by the minute, to the point I laughed, and cancelled their services. Absolutely disgusting customer service and did not back up anything they promised.

A few years ago I had my new Acura shipped from Sacramento, California to Atlanta, Georgia and it was a great experience. Very professional, excellent communication, and skilled in what they do. I recommended a family member to do the same when they made the move and it went just as smooth as my experience. Highly recommend this company.
I was skeptical at first and read all the reviews that I could about every car transporting business since I've never used them before and I can say, All American Transport did not fail me at all. Got my car delivered from Florida to Oklahoma in two days! Driver was courteous and always called me to keep me informed of where he was. I never had to wonder about where my car was or if it would be there in time. It arrived and driver was very professional and nice. I highly recommend and would 100% use them again. Their quotes were lower too than other carriers so 100!
As a customer, I have never been treated so rudely. Representative was rude and dishonest. Do not use this company!
As you can see it took them almost 5 years to respond to my review.. This place is garbage, there is a reason they have so many poor reviews!! What reputable company tries to side step their lies and poor SLOW service with a review 5 years later? I thought they were slow and unprofessional back in 2011 but man they have really outdid themselves with a 5 year later review. This should tell anyone considering them to find someone else!!!
Terrible customer service. Did not return calls, for weeks, or emails, and I was a referral by a moving company.
There was a problem with my car and I called them in time and delayed the order, then needed to cancel it.
When I finally cc'd the referral, they finally responded. Look for other transport companies, there are plenty of them around. They did not refund the deposit, and were amazingly rude when I had followed up on all details. Do not use them.
Do not confuse this company with another of the same name located out of San Francisco. Again, when shipping a car it is important to remember that this is A BROKER. All American Transport (BROKER) will then hire a driver (different company) to transport your vehicle.
We sadly decided to use All American Transport as our broker, and were promised 3 different companies before a single one was decided. I reiterated multiple times that the safety of my car was the greatest concern (I spent $1500 shipping it to CA in the first place from New England untouched). I wanted to use the same transporter but they only made CA to New England runs... I was promised an $800 trip and was wary about being charged so little that I told Leo multiple times I would pay double that for a legitimate transporting company.
The driving company, for my trip from CA to FL was switched the night before my car was to be transported. Until the morning of transport - I still wasn't 100% sure who/when my car would be shipped.
The company transporting my car had only been in existence for 2 years and there was no information on them. Leo stated that he thought these were good guys...he was wrong. I have to say Leo was a nice guy and tried to help, but unfortunately he would be better off at a better autotransport brokerage.
The roof of my car is dented in 3 places. The transport company is refusing to acknowledge the damage that they have done. Be careful about choosing a broker, they may not have the best list of available drivers. Your car is truly in their hands.
DO NOT SHIP WOTH ALL-AMERICAN. Your car will not be safe and they don't care.
We shipped our vehicle through Leo at All American on June 30th, days before the transport he switched companies on us but assured us Lakes Transportation Inc was a good company.
THEY ARE THE WORST! They are crooks. They damaged the roof of the car and are refusing to accept liability.
When we went to file a claim Leo didn't even have a current insurance document on them. He did get me one but these guys have a web of 3rd party defenses around their insurance provider.
We shipped the car in June and we are still fighting with these crooks.
DON'T RISK YOUR CAR!
DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN TRANSPORT.
My car was being shipped from San Diego to Philadelphia when it got hijacked in Maryland.
The truck driver was held at gun-point and my car was stolen on July 26th and no one from All American Transport contacted me.
They made no effort to notify me and I did not find out until July 30th when I called to schedule a pick-up time for my car on August 1st. All American Transport has made no effort to reimburse me for the value of my car and refused to refund the the $100 deposit I made for the cost of transporting my car.
I had to go through my OWN insurance to get money for my car. This company did not reimburse me for any of the costs from this incident: for the car rentals or my own car.
DO NOT USE. They are unprofessional, will not return phone calls, and do not have answers to anything. Use another transportation company.
I had a wonderful experience in having my vehicle transported from California to Nebraska!
I called and expressed my need to have my vehicle shipped to a location and it needed to be there by a certain day.
My contact person George, not only promised to deliver....HE DID DELIVER! He had a driver for me within 1 business day. The price he quoted did not change, and the driver that was assigned kept in constant communication with me.
Please trust me when I say that ALL AMERICAN TRANSPORT, is an honest, professional and responsible business. Not all transport companies can deliver a driver, no matter how nice they seem ( I had that experience, not a good feeling).
ALL AMERICAN TRANSPORT, does not ask for a down payment until the driver is found, now that is awesome. If you want your vehicle delivered in the same condition and on time by a responsible company that doesn't try and change the price on you, then ALL AMERICAN TRANSPORT is your company!!
Contacted Jack Morris three and a half weeks before to schedule shipment of my truck. I was assured multiple times that finding a shipper and the final price were "no problem" and "I've been doing this for years". He failed to call me back when promised and I then call him six days before the first agreed upon date and was told I'd get a call "after the weekend". Not receiving a call I called on Monday and was told to expect a call the end of the day. Again, no. Finally, I reach him and am told a series of problems, the shipper didn't want to go to my address, Etc. etc but he could get me someone at $200 more but later than we wanted.
The man is not prompt, less than honest, and tried to bust us on the price at the last minute. Avoid this company. Period. Just awful
They don't even deserve one star. Don't even consider using this company they are a total ripoff and a pack of liers. The first lie was the $1100 bait and switch quote to move my car from Minneapolis to Denver. $100 deposit and $1000 cash on delivery. The second lie was they'd stay in touch through the entire move and call a day ahead on both pickup and delivery. Of course they were late on pickup and never bothered to call.
Now we get to the money. I met the contract trucker and his bill was $1375, not $1000. But he had my car so I had to pay. Then two weeks later we notice two fraudulent charges on our credit card, one for $295 and the other for $1000.
I immediately called Eric at AllAmerican and he told me he'd cancel the charges immediately. Of course that was just another lie. A month later and the charges are still there. We're disputing the charges and I'm sure we'll win, but why should we go through this experience
In my mind they're a bunch of criminals,
Don't even think,of using them.
WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
The company that they contracted to transport my Mercedes Benz (Lakes Transportation, Inc) not only drove an extra 30 miles from when I dropped it off to them, but they also returned my car DAMAGED. There was a huge bumper dent which WAS NOT there before or marked on the Bill of Lading and I went through hell and back for their joke of an "insurance company" (Capacity Insurance) to deny my claim. These people are crooks!
I have now used All America Auto Transport twice, and both times, it involved shipping my SUV between the mainland Unites States and Hawaii. First, I drove across the country and dropped off my car in California to be shipped (because it's such a cool experience to have a cross-country road trip!). The second time, it was after I moved back to the east coast suddenly because of my father's health. I was so satisfied both times, but particularly for the return trip to the east coast, because I had to ask for coordination between Matson, the company that brought my SUV on the container ship to California, and then with a trucking company that would bring my SUV the rest of the way. I am by no means an overbearing customer, but I do communicate a lot, and I have a lot of patience. Well, I didn't need any of that patience when dealing with AAAT, because Victoria was always so quick to get back to me with my many questions. It seemed like every time I had a question, she would confirm that it had already been taken care of. When my car arrived back in California, Victoria had already coordinated the truck driver to pick up my car for the second leg of the journey, and it was picked up ahead of schedule, and now is due to be back here on the east coast ahead of schedule as well!! Due to the fact that I need to be available for the final delivery of my vehicle, Victoria was more than happy to coordinate with the truck drive to make sure I'm kept informed and can be available for the delivery.
As others have said, the price I was quoted was the price I ended up paying - no surprises. The service really doesn't cost any more than it would if I made all the arrangements directly with the trucking company myself, but man, I would have had so much more follow-up activity that I just don't have time for if I had gone that route. The service provided by Victoria, and by extension, AAAT, is second-to-none and I would recommend them as THE solution for anyone who needs to ship items, vehicles, etc. While I don't anticipate needing their service often, I wanted to send these good vibes to help their business, because if and when I ever have the need again, I want to make sure that they are around for me to use! Call them today!
RUN!!!!! Bait and switch!!!! I received a quote 6 days ago for $600.00. I called today to book it and they said they can't honor their own quote! The quote "is only good for 3 weeks!" Ummm... it has been 6 days!!! Said the prices are going up in June, even though I had June as our date when I got the quote. Now it's $725!!! I told them I will post my review online and they informed me I can't unless I am a customer! Now explains why all their review on their own website are good and then you go to YELP and see the real story! I have YELP to tell people how shady you are! RUNNNNNNNN FOREST RUNNNNNN!!!!!!
We have good luck with them in the past however are very disjointed this spring with them. They were to pick up our car "with in a few days" of April 26th in Lakeland Fl and have it delivered to Lansing MI. it is now May14 and still no car. We have a contract for $700.00 and now we are told that for a $1000.00 they can get it delivered.
Based on my last experience I like these guys and Byron seems honest but really I feel now like I am being held hostage. I would be happier if they were straight with me up front about time frame and costs.
DO NOT SHIP FROM THEM- YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR CAR AGAIN,
THESE PEOPLE ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IN THE INDUSTRY. THEY ARE LIARS AND ARE DISHONEST, HELP PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS. DO NOT USE THEM!! WHEN I CALLED TO ASK WHY THE PRICE WAS SO HIGH, AND TOLD THEM OTHERS HAD OFFERED ME $500 LESS, THE GUY JAMES RESPONDED BACK AND TOLD ME TO GET A SECOND JOB AND CALL THEM BACK WHEN I COULD AFFORD IT. I PASTED THE EMAIL BELOW. THEN WHEN I CALLED TO TALK TO SOMEONE HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS BORED AT WORK AND WANTED TO PLAY AROUND. THEN WHEN I CALLED TO TALK TO HIS BOSS JOHN OR WHOEVER IT WAS HUNG UP ON ME AFTER LAUGHING. THIS BUSINESS SHOULD NOT BE OPERTING. PLEASE HELP CLOSE IT DOWN PUT YOUR HORRIBLE REVIEWS UP. THEY PASTE UP GOOD REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE, BUT I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY MADE THEM UP. MY FRIEND SHIPPED HIS CAR FROM HERE TOO AROUND THE SAME TIME I DI AND THE COPS CALLED HIM AND SAID THAT THE DRIVER WAS IN HIS CAR AND GOT ARRESTED DRIVING IT AND THEY HAV EA LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM TOO...
I contacted a couple of different companies last week to try to arrange for my car to be transported from Atlanta to Florida. I thought A All America's site was really great - very explanatory, you could get in touch with someone when you called and talk to a real-live person. I filled out the paperwork, gave the company a three day pickup window (as requested). Called them a couple of times to make sure the transport would happen during this time frame and was told I had nothing to worry about. Their story is that the driver will call you 4 to 8 hours before - now that I think about it, sounds really dumb - the driver has to have a route and must at least be able to provide 24 hour notice (that is, assuming there is one). So today, on the last of my three day window, I call and the receptionist tells me that there's no one even assigned to my car! Imagine my surprise when the whole time Jaymes (my representative) is telling me everything is fine. They didn't even contact me to tell me what the status was - that there was no one assigned to my car and it was not going to happen. Their gimmick is to look really professional and they definitely did not meet any expectations. Also, when you send them paperwork, they take your credit card number and have a $50 cancellation fee - in my case, they tried to charge me the fee even though no driver was assigned. Really shady and unprofessional - I suggest you go elsewhere. These people will only waste your time.
Extremely disappointed with the service. This company was recommended to me after I'd had difficulty already with another company concerning the shipment of my car. I spoke to 2 of their employees who at first, seemed very cordial and helpful. The minute that I signed a contract, their whole tune changed. I realize that pick-up of cars on a particular date cannot be promised, but when they were trying to win my business, they said that there would be a very good chance that my car would be picked up in a particular time frame. After I signed, they became rude and said that "they are just the broker, not the trucker, and that if I upped my price by a couple of hundred, I'd have a higher chance that my car would be picked up by some trucker." After my car was finally picked up, it was nearly impossible to get updates; 3 phone calls by me to get any kind of reasonable answer, which was of course, "your trucker will get back to you after we get in touch with him." Anyhow, avoid this company at all costs, if not for the poor service, then for the fact that businesses should not sing one tune to get your business and then totally change once they've got you hooked.
