Used them to ship a car from MA to Florida in August. Service was great, from the initial rep who brokered the drivers to the communication with the driver from start to finish. Because of this great first experience, I decided to use them again to ship a second car down to Flordia in September and this time the service was terrible.

The initial rep Brett was good but once I was connected to the contracted driver it went downhill. It was never clearly stated to me that I may have to meet the driver at another location. Due to time constraints, the driver asks if I can meet him at a parking lot and when I say I can't he proceeds to complain about how losing my car will "mess him all up" as he was depending on my car for the last load and begged me to take an uber back home. I suck it up, and pay for an uber.

Five days later my car is scheduled for delivery and the same driver contacts me to ask to meet him outside. When I confirm the address, the company had the wrong address (had the address of the 1st shipment) even after I corrected them prior to shipping. He was 20 mins away and already stated he does not know if he can get down my street and asked if I can meet him at a parking lot. Like what? No, and then sends pictures of a street that isn't even mine saying he can't get down there... He was still 20 mins away, how would you know? So clearly lying. Then when told to just drop the car at the 1st shipping address which is 10 mins from the 2nd address, he again states he won't be able to get down that street and even goes as far as to say "I don't know how the other driver delivered your car." No, what I don't know is how you are charging people for a service you are clearly too lazy to complete because the first truck driver who had a double-loaded truck with 2 levels of cars on it, did deliver an SUV on that same street. Which to me just proves how much of a liar this driver is.

I went with this company initially because of reviews and because I did have a good 1st experience but I guess it was because I was a first-time customer. If you use them more than once it appears the customer service is less than par.

I would never use them again nor would I recommend

Couldn't have asked for a better service. Ryan, Brett and Susan were incredibly helpful. Walk me through it from start to finish.

Called 4 weeks before I needed to move car across the country and was told no problem and given good rate estimate. Followed up a few days before the date of move and was told it was still no issue. Called day before and they said they were still working on getting transport. Day that delivery was supposed to be picked up, I called again and was told they were still working on it. They never secured a delivery driver and I ended up having to drive car across the country. Completely unreliable, do not use!

We were called by the driver on Tuesday October 27th and told the driver will arrive the next day, Wednesday October 28th, in the evening.

On the morning of October 28th we received a call around 8am from the driver that he was an hour away and we would need to meet him 10 miles from the drop-off address. We were previously told the driver would not be arriving until the evening and arriving at the destination we scheduled.

Because of this last minute change, we had to rearrange our entire schedules and drive 20 miles roundtrip from where we have
had numerous cars dropped and confirmed the drop off spot months ago.

Upon meeting the driver, we found the cars extremely filthy. Due to the cars being on the open truck, we understand dirt may accumulate, however the amount of dirt on the cars compared to the numerous other times we've shipped the cars across the country seemed to amount to negligence and lack of care. We were also unable to ascertain if any damage was done to the vehicles due to the amount of dirt and mud caked on them. We also had to clean the mirrors before driving off due to the amount of dirt. We've never had to do that before with an open carrier shipping service.

I emailed Allied about this experience and received no response.

I received a quote for $650 to have may vehicle shipped from Las Vegas. I spoke with Robin who was very friendly and I explained the dates I needed the vehicle collected and told her I was flexible on it arrival time. She told me that it would be picked up and she outlined the payment process. I figured that all that was left was payment and delivery. One day before the supposedly pickup date, I received a call that the price was
$ 900, and that they are are only brokers and the quote wasn't iron clad. Don't use these guys they are scammers.

I chose Allied because they quoted me the lowest price ($350) to transport car from Sacramento to Mission Viejo. When I booked the transport they said when they found the driver that I would pay Allied with credit card in the amount of $150 and I would pay the remaining ($200) in cash directly to the driver. The first 3 days passed and I was told they were still trying to book a driver. On the 4th day I received a phone call and was told they found a driver but now the total price is $500, so $350 in cash to the driver. An increase of $150. I really needed the car transported so I agreed.
After reading previous reviews it looks like a pattern with this company to quote a low fee to get the booking and then do a bait and switch to get more money. Would I use this company again? Probably not

I have been getting my vehicles shipped from Boston to Florida for many years with several companies. Never had I dealt with such an unreliable company as Allied. They may have a cheaper price than others, but they BS their way through the whole process. Promises of phone calls back, hold times on phone for almost 10 minutes and a lot of sweet talk. Don't fall for it!
I sit here now, two hours before a flight, with no transport for my vehicle, with a charge on my credit card.
Worst company ever

Although Carl, my contact, was very friendly and personable, I felt they had abandoned me during a critical need. It was imperative I get my daughter's car from Michigan to Tennessee on either 4/12/19 or 4/13/19, and I was not comfortable waiting until the day of pickup to hear back from them to confirm they had a driver who would transport the car. I realize they do this all day every day, but for me it was a first.

The original quote of $565 for military rate, increased to $650 the next time I spoke with Carl to confirm pickup. Not happy about it, but I understand drivers get the rate they can charge. My bigger concern was making sure the car was picked up for transport on the 10th or earlier because I was going out of town the morning of the 11th.

After emailing and phone calls, I eventually got a call from Susan (dispatcher) the morning of the 10th saying the car would be picked up that same day between 4:00 and 6:00 pm and the new cost was $800.

Since so much time had lapsed between my last contact with Carl on and the targeted pickup date of the 0th, I had lost confidence that they would follow through on the transport, not to mention the 2nd rate increase to $800, so I declined. I changed my own plans and drove the car to TN myself.

I realize these brokers are at the mercy of what the drivers charge plus their profit, but I decided I'd rather keep the $800 myself and be confident that the car would arrive in Tennessee on time.

Upon initial outreach, the staff of Allied Auto Shippers seem to be trustworthy + professional, but unfortunately they are not. What was confidently suggested as a "very popular route" for my vehicle's transport became a route for which no one at Allied could find a driver. When my concern for timing drove me to consider other transporters, I was able to secure another company AND have my vehicle picked up within just a day and a half. I would not recommend this company for auto transport if you are on a specific timeline for pickup/delivery.

This has been a complete nightmare working with them and needless extra stress in trying to move across the company. DO NOT CALL, DO NOT USE.
Pay more in the upfront for any other shipping country.
After receiving what was the best quote out of several companies, I called Allied and spoke to Peggy (not sure if that is her real name or not). she was friendly and confident telling me that their typical process was to accept my "order" for a pick up, contact trucking and shipping companies and then arrange the pick up for me, essentially acting as a broker. My initial conversation with Peggy was on Nov 5, 2018 for pick up in MI and delivery in San Diego, CA. I was told I should be hearing back from Peggy within a week tops with a name of a company and the date of pick up. Happily I hung up thinking all is well. After not hearing from Peggy within a week, and having a pre-planned vacation in Europe(where we did not have international calling to check back with Peggy), I asked a family member to call and check on the status of the pick to be sure it wasn't forgotten. Again, we were assured all is well and a transport company will be determined very soon with a call back. But you guessed it: no call back. I called again the day before Thanksgiving, which is now about 5 days from the day I need to get the car picked up and shipped out. AGAIN, I was told that a shipping company was still being determined, but they would have a call to me that night. Not surprisingly, I did not receive a call with a drivers name. I called AGAIN on Monday, 11/26 and said I absolutely need to know the company picking up the car and the date of pick up or I have to make alternative plans. I was told I'd receive a call back with a name by noon that day. At around 1pm, I got a call and was told a pick up driver was found an the car would be picked up the following day, but now, it would be $100 more for the pick up. so not only did they dink be around for 3 weeks, they ended up charging me more than the initial quote. At this point, I'm in a panic, so I pay the extra money and receive an email with the company who is to pick up the vehicle. The email from Allied only says that the driver will contact me with an estimated time of pick up. As you can guess, no one from the pick up company, Extra Mile Transport Inc. or the Allied contacts me with a time for the pick up. It is now the day of pick up, I have left multiple message with both companies who have not returned my call with an estimated time. At this time I have no idea when this car will be picked up and I need to move out of my house in a day.
****update: after - no joke- 4 calls to both Allied and the shipping company, I get a separate call from a driver that says he will probably pick up the car today around 5:30/6pm. Which to me is kind of late in the day, but at this point, I'm just okay with anyone picking it up. Now to see if it gets to CA in one piece....stay tuned...
**** update: my car made it in one piece. The guy who actually ended up driving my car across the country was super friendly, easy to work with, texted and called with updates and was accommodating to my schedule for a pick up time and location. I wish i had worked with him for this entire process instead!
