The worst moving experience, after having received a quote in the end it was 1600 dollars more. The 4 to 5 days it took to move lasted ten days, broken and missing items and no one who showed up to answer for the mistakes and thefts committed by their employees. The moves were picked up by one person in a yellow truck and delivered by another person in another truck. I do not recommend doing business with "OASIS MOVING AND STORAGE"

Where do I begin with these people! Late on day 1, brought the wrong size truck, delivery was an absolute disaster once our stuff finally made it. Threw furniture out of the door, did not assist in putting anything back together, after unpacking we had damaged: Bose sound bar shattered, dishes, heirlooms broken, appliances dented, appliances broken, teak wood table leg broken off after being thrown out the door. I helped load and unload to get them out of our homes!!! Buy a donkey and a trailer before using these people. Our claim check that was offered was 30 bucks, our damage was over 3000 bucks!!!

We are still finding missing personal items. In fact there were boxes missing. One in particular was where I packed an expensive wine aerator gone. Didn't realize the movers that loaded up our furniture stole jewelry that day. I still get pissed thinking about things that can't be replaced. Never Never use Oasis Movers.

Very poor. Broken sofa legs. Missing items. Delivery was slow on the rest of the stuff. Never answers the phone. I think they're out of business now. Kept plenty of my stuff and nothing in return. Insurance coverage was terrible. Offered me $140 to replace broken legs on the sofa and three boxes missing

Worst moving company ever. Were promised 8 people to come to the load. 2 showed up two days later than promised with a small rental truck. Took three days to load because they had to go get another truck. They didn't wrap things, threw things into box. Didn't keep things together so many things are lost. Very expensive kitchen aid mixer was thrown on top of everything. When they showed up to unload, very nice people who unloaded but we found lots of things broken, legos and other things scattered on the floor of the moving van, things in boxes that had shifted and were broken or damaged. Again worst moving company ever.

They increased my cubic feet over 200 cubic feet estimate increased by 500 dollars. The owner of the storage unit and I even measured the 5x10x9 storage unit and my storage was not even completely full. DO NOT ACCEPT SERVICES AS A SUB CONTRACT COMPANY. Especially in Tacoma and Seattle Wa. area.

If I could give them zero stars I would, took over 8days before I got my things (leaving from Vegas to Long Beach, ca) hidden charges, empty promises of when my things would arrive. Then sold my contract to another company. Last couple days their number was disconnected and I couldn't get a hold of anyone, not knowing who had my things or where my things were.

The entire experience was awful. They overcharged by over $1000. They attempted to pick up goods in the middle of the night, hours after window given. They delivered over a week after window given. They damaged every item in the truck. The movers wore t-shirts from strip clubs and spent over half an hour smoking cigarettes in the driveway before unloading. And the office personnel just bounce you from person to person and never return phone calls. When I did talk to a customer service representative, she said, "well, we're in accordance with the law." Avoid this company and tell all your friends.

Consistantly bad ratings for people who've experienced the worst possible moving broker, not moving company, in the U.S.
Here's hoping they are out of business.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, OASIS MOVING & STORAGE !

This was a terrible experience, a nightmare, with OASIS MOVING & STORAGE. When I first contacted them, they gave me a quote for $6,900 to move me from California to Houston. I thought that was a great deal, so I signed up for it, put a deposit down, and scheduled it on the specific days that I needed to move out....

A couple days later, someone called me and told me that the salesperson had made a mistake, and the actual cost would be $18,000. (Contracts didn't matter, I couldn't cancel and find another company quick enough, and I had already put a deposit down). It was too close to my move date to find another moving company, so I asked to talk with the manager. He agreed to reduce it to $13,000.

Then the day of the move, which was on a weekend, the truck showed up late, and when the driver /supervisor came into the house, he told me they couldn't do it for less than $18,000. He didn't care about any contract, and he said he was not associated with Oasis, they were simply a company that "passes these moves on to real movers"....Of course, I couldn't contact the manager that I had spoken with, So I asked him to proceed, and I told him that I would contact management on Monday morning. (My alternative was to send him away, then I would not have been able to meet my deadlines to be moved out, and to be moved into my new house in Houston).

They damaged so much furniture, of course I didn't realize that until I got to Houston, and when the truck showed up to unload, it was a different crew, different truck. Furniture was damaged, a laptop computer was missing, and it was impossible to talk to anyone about it. They finally sent me forms in the mail to complete, but they wanted receipts on everything, and dozens of photos. Sometimes it's hard to find receipts on furniture that's 5 plus years old...

I actually contacted an attorney to help me resolve this, and he was sympathetic, but he told me that the bottom line was that I wouldn't recover anything, and this was common with these types of moving companies.

I have moved 8 times in my life. Prior to this company, I always used reputable companies like "Allied" or "United", and I always had pleasant and professional experiences.

My advice is to spend a little bit more, and use a reputable moving company like Allied or United. You will have a lot less stress, and a professional experience... Moving is already stressful enough...

Pathetic. Worst move experience ever. Only delivered half of my property up to Montana. Haven't heard from them since.

They stole everything worth anything. Broke a vase to get my deceased fathers wedding ring and my mothers. Stole my fathers coin collection. They must have had a X-ray to find my mother's jewelry in a vase in a box marked living room. Broke everything. They opened boxes took what they wanted. To the point they put the empty boxes back in the box.

Broke the side rails to my bed by snapping them off and not saying anything, lost the feet to my couch, broke the legs off the piano, caved in the bbq, broke tiles on my patio furniture.

They charged me extra for my bed after I had already payed more for it. Charged me for my couch three piece sectional, piano, barbecue (which was crushed) everything they charged me extra for was destroyed!!!!!!

They had A 14 year old as part of their PROFESSIONAL MOVING CREW!!

They wrapped a bedside table with their yogurt and milk contain in it you can imagine how that smelled!!!!!!!

They stole my grandmother's court reporting equipment not worth anything but to a museum.

This only a sampling of the disaster this company is.

We moved from Utah to Florida it cost me over $12,000.00. I could have hired Allied or United and they would have packed everything.

There was not one box that did not have something broken in it. My husband mothers fudge dish not worth much, but priceless. The frame of my deceased best friends picture. Oh and don't forget the 300 year old China that was my great great grandmother.

THE WORST PART IS THEY GAVE THE CODE TO MY GATED COMMUNITY TO PEOPLE THEY FOUND ON CRAIGS LIST TO UNLOAD THE TRUCK!!!!!!!

Just to let you know I have moved internationally and NEVER HAD DESTRUCTION LIKE THIS. SO IT WAS ALL PACKED CORRECTLY AND THE DRIVER ADMITTED WE DID IT RIGHT!!

I have tried to contact them so many times I sent the photos over 100 of them. NO RESPONSE!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS.

We booked movers through Safe Ship to move items from California to Kansas. These items belonged to our sister who passed away suddenly and it was all that we had left of her. Safe Ship contracted the work out to Oasis. Our experience with Oasis started out good. The guys that came to pack up the items did an amazing job and were professional.

Move forward a few weeks and I get a call after 10pm and the delivery guy says that they are coming and that they wanted $300 extra to deliver the items. We immediately contact dispatch and they say no you only owe the balance that is due. So the driver was trying to scam us out of money.

The driver and helper arrive. They are dressed unprofessionally and are wearing flip flops. We were told that they would assemble anything that needed to be assemble. The guys refuse to assemble anything. My sister, who was receiving all the items, made the mistake of paying them before she was able to go over the inventory list and they take off while she is in the basement leaving their packing blankets on her porch.

Once they leave she starts going through items. All the kitchenware is broken. The wine fridge is broken. Boxes looks liked they have been smashed and drop kicked. We also notice items missing including some very nice outdoor furniture.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEMS. Safe Ship says that we can file a claim but we cannot ever replace items that belonged to our sisters. These guys are thieves!!

This company damaged my furniture in storage and transit, one piece was completely ruined, and no longer usable. Several items were never delivered from storage and lost. I contacted customer service for reparations, but was overwhelmed by the process while also going through a divorce. The movers moaned and groaned the whole time they had to bring my furniture in to the house. They rammed their moving dolly into the entry step so hard that it splintered the wood. If my furniture wasn't in storage, I would post pictures of how they damage the corners of the leather furniture the gouges and the wooden feet of the sofa and loveseat, a cedar chest was completely destroyed, a wooden entertainment center, as well as a wooden entryway stand.

My experience with Oasis was very positive. They helped us flee CA to the southeast within the last week. The price was competitive, and they were on time. there was a delay due to weather, but I received multiple updates.

Two different crews dealt with our belonging, pick up then delivery. Each were polite, professional and pleasant to work with. They treated our stuff with the utmost of respect. Also, neither place was easy to bring a large truck into and the drivers were top notch at maneuvering the big vehicles.

I would highly recommend them for your move.

This was the worst company that delivered our items. The movers that loaded our truck were very thoughtful, however when different movers came in a different truck and different people, my heart was broken!

Not only did me and my husband have many things broken, including a majority of my mother's vintage dishes, just devastating! The items that were wrapped on the initial move did not come to us as it was packed!

Who knows since it was a shared truck with other people's items in it which we were not told about until pickup, how many times was our stuff moved in and out of trucks!?

I want all the things ruined by this company replaced!

This moving company was contracted out from a company I chose online. Never never ever use them. I was moving from Phoenix to Dallas and once my goods arrived it was sad to see the disregard for my stuff. Boxes upside down, heavy books on top of fragile items. I was shocked and surprised and so far my damages are around 8k.
All they wanted was to be paid with cash! I've moved so many times in my life with very few incidents even to HK, London, Korea, and Switzerland that were all professionally done. This is not a mover you ever want to use. I even have stuff that arrived that's not mine. Just say no to Oasis!!! Trust me.

*Update: After months of waiting for the claims department to settle this case they only offered $54. After causing over $1000 in damages. They said the pictures I provided didn't show the damages. WTF?! And on top of that, they wanted me to get a letter notarized, authorizing the payment. So after all they've done, I'd be paying more money just to receive a 54 dollar check. I personally chose not to even take the payment they offered. Again, zero stars, absolute worst moving company.

This company showed up a day late, literally the day I was supposed to be moving, and they tried to upsell me so I had to leave a bunch of my stuff. And yes I did have a contract that they decided to not care about. And then told me to sign a contract with them saying they could deliver my stuff in 18 days which is not what I was told. The people who showed up were very rude.

They were also 3 days late on delivery from what I was promised... Then the fun begins, my bed is broken, my $800 road bike is broken and bent beyond repair, I had multiple items stolen from me, all my glassware is broken, and my TV mount is broken. This full service as they say moving company showed up with only a driver and he insisted I help him; doesn't seem like full service to me on that end. He wouldn't unload my items until I pay him, which I'm fine with but then he tacked on an additional $300 because evidently it was a little farther than he had anticipated. He was in the 18-wheeler and was not willing to back into the loading dock at my apartment.

I wish I had listened to my gut which told me not to go with this company because they seemed really shady. I also didn't listen to all the reviews saying how bad this company was and now I regret it. Please do your research and use a better company. I've learned from my mistake. Please learn from our mistakes.

Always moving is fantastic, arriving right on time at our location, the estimated time of the move was right on point as well. James, Kyle and Schamel, the three gentlemen that took care of our move, were above and beyond professional, not a dent, no breakage whatsoever, nothing misplaced, it was a real pleasure working with them. I am more than happy to recommend them. All in all I give them an A++. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Company is not responsible with your belongings and will try to add additional charges beyond initial quote once you are cornered and your things are already in their possession. They show up in a smaller truck and transfer belongings in and out of warehouses then arrive at the residence with an 18 wheeler truck that cannot fit or isn't allowed anywhere near the property.

Belongings arrive damage and you aren't even allowed to see your items until you pay them the additional irrational fees they are requesting due to the surprise addition of an 18 wheeler truck.

If you are planning a move in the NYC area, use these people! I was very anxious about moving. I lived in a 5th floor walk-up, had more than 125 boxes, and had several pieces of heavy furniture. From start to finish, the Moving of America team was helpful, professional, and understanding. On the day of the move, Margorito, Bany, and Liandro arrived on time and were friendly and competent. This was not an easy move, but they were pleasant and efficient. Joey at Moving of America was helpful from the start - helping me to plan and assuring me that he understood the stress of moving and that he and his team were there to make my move as easy as possible. He checked in during the move to make sure there were no problems. Dolores in the office was also friendly and helpful. All-in-all - the experience was made so much easier by having such a professional team. I would highly recommend this moving service.

Only thing broken was my heart as we left our old house. Movers were professional and fun. (Yes fun!) They made moving easy. On time, under budget and everything were we asked. Office staff was supportive and courteous. I am using them again to move my parents!
