American Auto Transport (FL)
Customer Reviews
I initiated a conversation with Angela from American Auto Transport. I called for a quote to transport my car from my home in CA to TX and I was quoted a little over $1370, she then said she could le
These idiots don't mind harassing with spam calls and messages... After repeated complaints, they still dont care and keep harassing with messages at all times... And when you call to ask them to remove your number from automated messages, they hang up immediately when they hear the words 'remove my number'... good luck if you share your number with them...

I had a car shipped from Texas to MissourI. The car arrived as scheduled and without any damage. The driver was courteous and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with their service. I will use them again if I need to have my car hauled.

This is an awful organization. Avoid at all costs. They will lie to you and ignore you the minute they take your deposit.
Victor Perugia will call you every 5 minutes to badger you in to signing the docusign so they can take a deposit which is their fee. All they do is put your vehicle on a nationwide network called Universal Dispatch. All car movers use this same network. Truck drivers choose which cars they want to pick up and deliver based on each of their own routes. If American Auto Transport puts too small of a fee, no driver will take your car.
They lied to me and strung me along for 8 days and no one ever took my car. Once AAT got my money they ignored all my calls, text messages and emails. Then when I had Amex reverse the charge for the deposit this mean lady Margaret called and lied to me saying a truck was on the way. But this was a total lie. The driver she said was coming was 3 states away and told me he didn't have me on his schedule at all.
Do yourself a favor... call Anyone else. Moving is stressful enough and now I need to rent a car at my new house because AAT never moved my car despite their promises.

They never stop calling. Month later after many times telling them I don't need delivery services any longer.

Pick up dates we're continuously missed for 4 consecutive days. They never did show up nor did they ever return a phone call from customer service. My challenge now is to get my $200 deposit returned
I would never attempt to use them again and I strongly suggest that no one uses them

THEY HAVE A "F" RATING ON BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND ONE STAR ON HERE: AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs. Deplorable, unprofessional, harassing, hanging up on you when you asked to be taken off the call list. Then, when you finally talk to someone they tell you that they have taken you off the list and when you ask "So which number are you taking off the list? Because I am still getting calls" They answer that it is none of your business!
I used these guys once and their paperwork has so much indemnification clauses that you basically can't hold them for just about anything.
Also, they spam text me every few weeks. "I transported a car for you in the past. Wanted to see if you need to transport your car again, I can work a return customer special call/text me 954-278-3867"
This company wrecked my car and offered me a running car they offered me a mustang and said the transmission was out a few weeks after they offer to replace it for deliver me the car it's been 3 months and I haven't received anything complete scam
Don't request a quote, as soon as you give them your number you'll be spammed daily. They're completely unprofessional, it's just a scam business. Don't waste your time.
Victor Perugia is an absolute scammer. Tries to send you one price and then switches price. Horrible service and a bait and switch.
Complete scam artists. As soon as they have card number they won't answer the phone. Had them hang up on me SEVERAL TIMES. had to cancel my card because of them
These people never stopped calling me and did not give an option for getting off of their list. When I finally pressed "1" to talk to a rep and politely asked to be taken off the list because the car I needed to ship fell through, the guy hung up on me halfway through my sentence.
I'm sure they're violating spam laws, and at least that one guy was insanely unprofessional.
I called them back and caught someone else who was kind enough to at least take me off of their list without being a jerk about it.
Wooot!! They found someone to deliver my car from Texas to Nevada. No problem!! Victor told me a quote of 1150 but they were able to find cheaper when they found the driver! Woot! Thanks Victor! I am finally rolling again! .
Moving is always stressful, especially if you are moving tons of furniture and your vehicle!
This trip was moving back to CA and I needed/wanted to ship my smart car back. Really did not know where to start in the beginning. Went on a website and plug in all the shipping info... As I expected, many calls, texts, and emails came my way.
Spoke to few people and Alex reached out to me from American Auto Transport. As I am super OCD about all the tiny details, I asked many questions and I often look for someone whom does not get bothered by my thousand questions.
Alex was super helpful and his teammate James always very helpful as well. They got back to me quickly each time I reached out to them for answers.
After moving few times including a semi cross country 2 years ago, I understand payment plans and such. So there was not many questions in that area.
After all almost set and done, I finally got the info for my driver John. John is very professional and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me as well. Very friendly and took care of my car (pick up and drop off).
My car arrived a day earlier than planned, which did not bother me since I have arrived CA on the previous day.
I simply want to write a review for their excellent service and professionalism. I would highly recommend to hire them if you need to ship your car. There is never enough people who write good reviews nowadays. I have been in service industries over 20 years, positive feedback is so important.
I appreciate so much for Alex, James, and John for making this move of my car so simple and smooth. (Plus, they were the one whom gave me the lowest quote to ship my car).
Big thank you!!!
I called AAT and gave them my credit card after they said a driver available immediately. Signed contract with Angela, the customer service rep. After that, I never heard from them. I read the reviews after signing and got very nervous. I texted, called and emailed to cancel. No response. However, next day, the driver called. The car was actually shipped from east coast to California on time and as agreed upon. Perhaps the trucking deserves credit for that. The reviews seem accurate with fast talking sales (Allan) and prompt customer service until contract is signed, but nothing after that. Five stars for trucking company and 1 star for AAT. That comes to 3 stars.
Well we received our vehicles just 6 days late. The driver was very nice and professional. But he was a contractor and does not directly work for them. I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 2. Still don't think we will ever use them again.
