If you want to be charged more than the quoted/contact price for pick up/delivery days after agreed upon date with horrible communication and incompetent customer service then this is the place for you. 05/17 Contacted them for quote to transport a car from Camp Verde, AZ to Tucson, AZ (about 220 miles) - was quoted $600 for pick up on Saturday 5/20 with drop off on Sunday 5/21. Deposit of $300 to be charged automatically to my credit card at pick up with balance of $300 to be paid by cash/money order/cashiers check to driver at drop off. Agreed to terms, they sent a contract for this amount with 5/20 date, we signed and gave them credit card info for deposit. 05/20 Did not hear from anyone - called to check on status and was told not to worry that Travis had been working on it and we would get our vehicle and to contact Travis for status. We called and left several voicemails with no response. Sunday 5/21 we text Travis and received a response stating they were working on finding us a carrier but at that point still had not secured a carrier. This was the day after vehicle was supposed to be picked up. 05/22 Text at 8am because we still had not heard anything from Travis. Kim text back shortly and said that they werent able to find a carrier with the price we were quoted and that if we wanted the service it was going to be $900 not $600.Followed up around 11am with a phone call.Around 2:30 received a text from Travis that they were still working on finding a carrier. 05/23 Texted Travis about the additional fee. They agreed to lower it to $750. We were desperate at this point as the seller was going out of town and we were already 4 days passed when we were supposed to have vehicle picked up so begrudgingly agreed to the additional $150. 05/24 Vehicle was supposed to be picked up by 4pm. 4pm came and went - we contacted the number given to us for driver and guy had no idea what we were talking about. Called Travis again. Finally around 8:30pm vehicle was picked up. We were never given correct contact info for driver. 05/25 Text Travis for drivers info in AM to see what time they would arrive as we needed to take more time off work to be available for drop off. No response so contacted vehicle seller who thankfully took drivers info. Vehicle was delivered on this day. 05/27 Received a text from Travis with drivers info. 2 days after delivery had been completed. . This place not only quoted one price but charged us $150 over their quote (they tried to charge us $300 over quoted price but settled for $150) for their errors not ours and their customer service is completely lacking. Travis was extremely incompetent. Steer clear of this company.

I called to get information on how this transportation process works, and based on the email I received, I was hopeful that they could help. I asked questions about the process, and Felicia was extremely condescending an really rude. Apparently you're supposed to just pay and not ask questions. Going with another company based on this.

Felicia & Auto Shipping Group have helped me successfully ship two vehicles before (one from Florida to NoCal; the other from SoCal to Oregon), so when I needed a classic car transported from northern Nevada to southern Arizona, I naturally contacted them again. ASG's process and Felicia are amazing! I cannot recommend them more highly.

Within minutes of completing ASG's webform, I received an email quote, a text confirmation & a phone call from Felicia. She is -- at the same time -- so professional, friendly, funny, and capable; I have no doubt that my order is being taken care of. Because I'd used ASG twice before, Felicia said this order would be getting a discount. Sweet!

Due to the coronapocalypse-related supply chain & labor problems, ASG wasn't able to locate a carrier who was running from Navel Lint, NV, to Toejam, AZ, within my timeframe. Nonetheless, Felicia regularly kept me up to date on her progress and quickly cancelled my order with enough time for me to make flight & hotel arrangements and take care of the relo the old fashioned way (driving through the desert).

No matter. Felicia is wonderful, and ASG is the only vehicle transport company I'll ever use.

Just don't do it! I was trying to ship my son's vehicle from California to Louisiana and Maila said it was no problem, she reminded me that she had been doing this for 17 years. She explained the process and said they needed a deposit to reserve the driver@ $257.50 (reputable companies do not request funds up front). Because I didn't know to smell a scam in this industry, I gave the funds. They responded with a new quote that was $500 over the first quote. I immediately emailed and asked them to cancel the pick-up. They cancelled, but conveniently kept the deposit. Now Ms. Maila won't answer my calls or emails. Also, no one will answer their main line. I requested an investigation with my credit card company and they refunded the funds for my stupidity. Just say "no@ to ASG.

Good price. Always contactable. Did what they said they'd do. Flexible in helping me with my moving logistics conflicts. And ... zero damage.

I have seen the other side of auto shipping. I was very nervous going into this about damage, problems, communications, changes. Lance, my consultant, gave off a different vibe from past experience with other shippers, right from the start. Useful general info about the shipping business, my specific order and what they could do to meet my concerns. And then he followed through on everything after money was deposited.

I am pleased and willingly recommend Auto Shippers.

Worst customer service ever.. said I needed to give them a cashiers check I said that seems a little shady and asked if they took credit card. He then freaked out and said "it's not shady it's in history standards and I don't give a shit about shipping your car and hung up on me". Now I know why they have such a horrible rating I hope they go out of business

I recently did a move from Hawaii to Virginia (port to door) and from my experience I will never hire this company again due to their poor communication and handling of delays. My expectation was to hire a broker to handle everything and only communicate through the broker for updates but, instead from the beginning I get on a three-way call to schedule and give my credit card info over the phone to a boat shipper.

After dropping of my car at the port, I receive zero communication after... Every single call concerning the shipment of my car was initiated by me. My car arrived in CA... no call of that status. The only call I receive is stating that they need my credit card info ASAP to pay the trucker shipping company moving my car from CA to VA.

After that transaction, once again silence. I called a week later only to find out that there was a delay in shipping (no call letting me know of this delay), and then they tried to give me the contact info to the trucking company to call them direct... which I was not going to do because I hired them to mediate my move.

Finally as my car was moving across country, still no communication or update statuses. I call ASG the day my car is scheduled to arrive only to find out that they don't know why the truck hasn't showed up. Come to find that the person assigned to me as my agent, had gone on leave, and the truck is delayed and will deliver my car on a different day. The first person I spoke to tried to deflect the responsibility of calling the trucking company on me but, finally spoke to a different person who apologized for the original agent for not making the proper coordinations while In the middle of my move. I received my car exactly 1 month later.

I needed to ship a van and a motorcycle to Kauai. We spoke to Felicia and she assured us that everything would go smoothly. She told us that they prove motorcycle skids in the cost of shipping, which turned out to not be the case. This severely hurt us because when the time came, the company did not prove skids, and we would have to make our own. Three stars are being given because while Felicia may not of had all of the information needed, the customer service was not terrible and we got our van shipped safely. Our van did take more time than was additionally quoted, but I am not sure that is the fault of the company. Overall I am not thrilled with my experience, but I did get one of my vehicles here safely. They definitely need to better inform their staff on shipping procedures and policies.

I was transporting my car Florida to Hawaii. When my car got to california to go to Hawaii, I had issues with having a subwoofer and my front bumper being below 6". This was never mentioned anywhere in any documentation or checklists that I received through email. So when I was already flying to Hawaii, I could not deal with this in person. I was charged an extra $350 to have it removed and delivered the next day, because the carrier decided to arrive at Maton's closing time. On top of that, the pricing did not match the quote at all. From what I remember the quote was around $1700-$1850. Whereas I had to pay around $2200 plus the $350, plus losing the subwoofer($120) and front bumper($500-$600). Also I was told there would be some sort of Veterans discount, but nope, did not get one. So I got fucked there. Matson nor ASG have not been of any help. No one wants to take fault.

And even though they told me "Personal belongings be removed". I had left a blanket, pillow, shades, paper towel, magazines in the car, OH but the subwoofer was considered a personal belonging. That had to be removed, and not those other things. I guess it was pick and choose what was to be removed - I guess they picked the valuable item. They told me it was loose and could be shifted...Well no shit right? The subwoofer would and does not move on it's own even during driving, unless you move it with your own damn hands. Keep in mind, subwoofer enclosures are 98% of the time not bolted into the trunk at all, so I don't even know what that means....

Just overall a feeling of disgust of the human race once again and feeling scammed.

My husband and I used Auto Shipping Group to transport our VW Jetta from California to Michigan. Brandon was very nice and informative on phone and in emails. I liked that they insured everything they transported at no extra cost. Not all companies did that.

There was a trick in trying to find an area where the tow could pick up our car. We live on a one way street so we had to coordinate with the driver where we could meet. The driver didn't know the area very well, and a nearby parking lot was completely packed. It took some time but worked out pretty well. Not a complaint, but just a heads up.

My complaint is that the brand new car departed without a scratch and arrived with a leak in one of the tires. The family member who inspected the car didn't realize it was leaking upon arrival, but after about a week, it was nearly flat. Minus 1 star for this.

I contacted Brandon about how this ought to get covered under the company's insurance, and I received no reply from him. Minus the second star. So much for peace of mind with the vehicle being insured. I did get the tire fixed free of charge, so I didn't bother with ASG further. But I would have given them a much better rating had they bothered to even follow up with me. This tells me that if there was any damage to my car at all, I would end up being responsible for repairs even though they advertise otherwise.

Will not use again. Will not recommend.

Excuses, excuses.
If you choose this group, expect that you will hear one excuse after another. It's like a 10-year-old explaining why they didn't do their homework.
"they were caught in traffic from New York. I hear it's pretty bad." (This caused a two day delay in pick up for a cross-country delivery.)
Four days later, "they were caught in floods in Arizona. It's going to delay things. Really sorry they botched this. Be sure to tell the driver how mad you are."
" you didn't get my email? Yeah, I'm going to put a call right now into our head of IT. We've been having problems."
Five days later: "did you not receive the details of the company that's shipping to you? I sent it on X date. Oh sorry. Must've been my email. I think it was down that day." (Me: "Well, I did receive one email from you on that very day, but it's not the details of who the carrier is."). "yeah. I'm going to get on that right away.
Day of delivery: the driver is an hour and 15 minutes away from you. He's in (the next major city over.)
3 1/2 hours later: "he hasn't called you yet? I'll get on it. Oh, looks like he's an hour to two hours away now."
Blah, blah, blah.

My recommendation: pick another company than "redcarpet autotransport.com"
