I had a shipping company that used border to border aunty transport from Oregon to California for two vehicles. Pickup was smooth with a arranged location close to our apartment which was helpful and worked with our schedule for pickup time.
HORRIBLE SERVICE.!! BEWARE!!!
Hired to transport my elderly 85 year old fathers beloved collectors vehicle to his residence in Oregon.
Instead, with no prior notice of their arrival day, or time, they called him from 80 miles away at 8 in the morning and wanted him to immediately drive 2 hours from the delivery address, pay them cash, and get the truck off their trailer.
When he tried negotiating with them to meet in the middle or be more reasonable, they hauled it another 279 miles away and dumped it in a "yard" that is nothing but a rural field and are holding it hostage until he finds a way to plan an 8 hour drive.
I tried reasoning to no avail. These are disgusting people that give all professionals a bad name.

I had pre arranged for my credit card to be charged prior to delivery. When they got here, the driver demanded he be paid by "Zelle", which would not have been a problem, had it been working. It was not. So what did the driver do? He got in my car and refused to get out until we paid him. Horrible experience with this company.
One star because I can't rate 0. I had my car transport arranged from Portland OR to Denver CO. They were suppose to pick up the car on 3/8 and deliver it on 3/14. However, they could not pick up the car on the scheduled date and I had to call them on the pick up date to find that out. The car was picked up on 3/9 and was supposed to be delivered on 3/16. It's at least 5 days late and not yet delivered. When you call, they never pick up and only call you back hours later after several messages. How can you run a business like this? If you aren't going to deliver on what you are supposed to do, at least have the courtesy to call your customer and give them an update.
I arranged transport of my vehicle from Chicago-land area to a suburb near Denver on February 15th, 2016. They rescheduled a couple of time for different days and set new once. During the phone conversation I was told they run this route all the time but the had difficulty with scheduling routes and trackers.
I contacted Border to Border Auto Transport on or about, 02-29-16 but no answer. The car was supposed to be picked up on Saturday or Monday depending on what fit their schedule better. On Monday, 02-29-2016, I contacted them again to ask why they have not picked up the car on Saturday and to inquire if they will pick it up today, Monday.
Again, the answer given was, we will do it sometime this week. I have all ready waited two weeks and the transport was rescheduled three times. I did not want to wait third week to be disappointed again. I hired a different company to transport my car.
In my experience, Border to Border Auto Transport had no regard for my time or the time of my family members who where helping in vehicle transport (pick up location). Moreover, they had no courtesy to even call and cancel ahead of time. They simply did not show up. I had to call them to find out the status. Overall, in my opinion the company is very irresponsible and did not appreciate me as a customer.
