Worst dispatch company I have ever worked with. I have been in business for 25 years. The worst dispatch service ever. Have you waiting for hours in order to resolve any issues and speak down to you As if you are worthless, we'll never work with them again. And never resolve the issues. They change units to inoperable and will not increase rate saying that the way they were accepted. Could not give negative stars

Best car transportation quality,efficiency and very responsive when you have any questions. My vehicle came faster than they said it would and got picked up on time everything according to the plan even though I called with no days in advance. I would use Car Carriage 100 times over and would never think of any other company. Thank you for your amazing help James!

UPDATE AS OF 4/7:
James did contact me on 3/29 and was very sympathetic to my experience with Ad Fast Transport LLC, which he told me he would hold accountable to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

He also offered to reimburse me for my Uber expenses, which I also appreciated.

Overall, the experience still wasn't the best but I can appreciate the apology and actions that came
afterwards from the Car Carriage.

**Full transparency: I have updated my review from two stars to four following the update.**

This was my first time using an auto transport company and I decided to use the Car Carriage based on a solid review from a family friend.

During my initial consultation via online system and call, the company was very responsive. James was a great help to understand what the process would be like and get an accurate look at the total costs. I also appreciated that I did not have to pay anything upfront until the car was delivered.

The Car Carriage is based in Texas and they use contractors around the country to pick up your car. The contractor I used, Ad Fast Transport LLC is based in Maryland and dealing with them was the worst experience.

First off, leading up to my pick-up date, I heard nothing from Ad Fast. The Car Carriage provided their contact information so I reached out and a representative named Josy picked up. Josy seemed very unorganized and unprofessional during our call and had no idea when the driver would arrive to pick up my car.

This was a problem because I had a flight back to Maryland in less than four days and needed my car picked up before I left.

I had to consistently call Josy to get an idea of when the driver could pick up my car. It was originally scheduled for pick up on 3/15 but it wasn't picked up until 3/17.

However, this wasn't the biggest issue.

The biggest issue was when I recieved a text from Josy asking me if I could meet the driver 25 minutes west from the original pickup location in a very rural area. I was very skeptical of this unprofessionalism, however, like I said before, I needed my car gone before my flight. So I agreed and drove to the location.

The driver was very sweet about it all but I learned he was planning to come to the original location but was told by Josy not to.

Getting back to my original location was a pain as temperatures were in the single-digits and there was no ubers or lyfts available until an hour later so I had to wait in a local motel until I could find a driver to take me home.

My car was safely delivered to the contacting company but I was out $52 from the Uber and had to wait an hour in an unfamiliar part of town.

When I asked Josy, how I would get home once I gave my car, her only response was "I don't know."

When I reached back out to James and the Car Carriage for a response, I have yet to receive an email as of 3/24.

There is no accountability and the lack of communication from all involved parties has been disheartening and frustrating to say the least.

Luckily, my car was delivered safely to the listed location in a timely fashion on 3/21. However, this experience has been so traumatizing and horrific that I would not recommend the Car Carriage or any of its contractors to anyone.

Great experience from beginning to end! The car was picked up at my mother's house in New Jersey, and delivered here to me in Florida. Both the pickup and the drop off were done right at our front door, and the timing was coordinated to meet our needs. We were even reminded to remove the electronic toll pass, so that we wouldn't be charged along the way. This was a pleasurable experience at a reasonable price. I would enthusiastically endorse The Car Carriage.

Applied to be a carrier for this company and it has taken over 4 months to get setup... absolutely horrible communication. Don't count on them to respond.

First I give this company a -10 for everything. Would not let me so I had to pick one star.
From start to finish. HORRIBLE!!! From customer service to management to return calls anything. There isn't one thing about this company I'd say is good. It took over 3 weeks for our car to arrive from Tucson to Mary Esther, Florida. My car sat in Tucson for over 2 weeks until it even got picked up. That's already breaking their 14 guarantee delivery window. We've called so many times and was informed they would call us back so many times and not one call back. We did receive a call informing our car would be delivered no later than Monday April 5th, 2021. Then on Tuesday, April 6th I called and was informed - with a lot of unknowing where my car was - that it was still sitting in Tucson. No one in the office seemed to know anything and kept getting the "well they're a new employee"
Not my problem. They should have employees that know what they're saying to a customer and not just feeding them bull.
Unreal!! We paid extra for a home pick up that never happened we had to drop it off and paid another additional money for something that I don't even remember what. We asked for the monies back we were charged for pick up that never happened and a % for the late delivery. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Worst company and so unprofessional.

This company is a fraud! They deserve a zero star! Do not waste your money on them! They are quick to take your money but do not provide the service you paid for. They are incredibly hard to communicate with after you book your car reservation. Fail to compensate for any inconvenience or issues. They don't care about the customer at all. I paid for the service where they drop off my vehicle directly at my residence. First, my car was not delivered with the time frame they gave me. Unreliable. The process is I delivered my car to one of their partners/third party vendor (liability to damages on a vehicle at a partner location is separate from carsarrive, very sneaky). Second their third party vendor who delivers the vehicle called to tell me my residence was inaccessible and I had to meet him somewhere. There was no documentation on the agreement stating I had to meet their partners to retrieve my vehicle under any circumstances. False advertisement. Third he drove my vehicle to my residence after I was on the phone with carsarrive for 2 hours without any solutions. I couldn't drive to location because I didn't have access to a functioning vehicle. Carsarrive kept giving me the runaround and did not try to satisfy my needs and the service I paid for in any way. Third party vendor/carsarrive partner finally drove my car to destination but i had to drive him back. He as well did not get any feedback on what he should do because carsarrive did not call him back ( he satisfied the customer need not carsarrive by driving my car which was not in agreement as well). I called and asked for a refund at operations department and Tracy some sort of supervisor or wtvr she is, was speaking to me condescending and refused any type of compensation. Tracy even said they transport thousands of vehicles and can't keep up with everyone. She said their partner should never had drove my car to me. Tracy was the worst representative any company could ever employ. This company is fraud! Do yourself a favor and drive your own car to your destination if you can. They do not care about their customers. The most horrible customer service I ever had! I hope they go out of business by their competitors because they are not a honest business and they definitely are just a money hungry corporation with employees that need to be directed to business etiquette courses.

Buyer beware! When I cancelled the quote, James sent me a $150 "Dry Run Fee". When I called to inquire, he cursed me on the phone and hung up. I did pay the fee because he seemed so upset by the cancellation, which was very weird.

I'm now ending Day 5 of my " Pick Up Window " and that doesn't include the two Weekend days.... In other words, I paid over a week ago to transport a vehicle from Arizona to California, just a little over 500 miles, and no one can tell me when I can even expect my vehicle to get picked up let alone for it to be delivered to me.
They pitch your vehicle will be picked up in 3 days, don't believe it....when I pointed out we are way beyond the 3 day Window " their pitch" changes to an estimated window! Believe me, I have 3 more vehicles needing transport in the next 6 weeks....I certainly won't be using these guys! :-/

Not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about, but CarsArrive gets a solid 5 in my book. Excellent communication throughout the process, great availability, and reliable service. I would refer people to CarsArrive without any hesitation.

I started the conversation with the DAS (car arrive) representative stating we were already working with someone and they couldn't find a driver. Under that pretense Brent told us no problem we have drivers. I explained the urgency to get the car on the road. He had us pay hundreds more upfront and drive the vehicle 2 hours away to the dispatch location in order to expidite the process. At trh arrival location there wasn't any paperwork and they had no idea I was coming. After 2 days of the vehicle sitting he stated he actually couldn't find a driver and he be happy to refund our money. Now the vehicle is 2 hours away 2 days later with no driver in site. To add to the pain. They are charging us for having the vehicle at the dispatch location.

Should be called cars never arrive.

Bad customer service. Vehicle Damage! I also filed a Better Business Bureau Report. Apparently, this company doesn't care. Spend a few bucks more and use someone else!

If you don't mind incurring body damage, you can get a cheaper deal on transporting your car across country. I shipped my car from CA to CO in the beginning of July. In that time, communication was poor, I never knew where my car was or when it would arrive. Three weeks later, and several different Uber rides later, both the Receiving Company and I noted 2 areas of body damage. There was a white scratch on the front bumper down to the primer. My rear bumper was off the clip track and still appears like it had been banged up and isn't sitting right.

Upon pickup of my vehicle, I called Cars Arrive. They asked I submit picture and an estimate. I immediately emailed the documents to Cars Arrive. I didn't hear back for a long time. When I called next, they said I needed to complete a form write-up, which I did and returned immediately. When I didn't hear back, I faxed this paper to them again in December and they said too much time had passed and denied my claim. WTH!?

I'd like to note that this company had a different Yelp page and now note I am leaving a new review as the sole reviewer. There were others before me but they somehow disappeared. Sounds shady to me.
