Dream Auto Transport

Horrible experience !! They completely destroyed my 1970 Volkswagen Westfalia that had been maintained meticulously by my uncle for 45 years. I had inquired about the insurance policy and they assured me it was covered 100% from the time I hand them the keys until they handed them back to me. You can't believe the condition my Bus was returned in. I will upload photos. It was in perfect condition when it left Texas and when it arrived in California two days later it looked as if it had been rolled on the freeway. Ruining so many different areas of the bus totaling $10,000 in damage and I never received one cent!!! The claim was denied by their insurance company. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! They said they are just the broker and they are not responsible. Everyone pointed fingers and no one claimed responsibility. The driver decided to turn the bus around facing backwards half way during the trip and said he didn't know the top opened up. It has two rubber brackets that hold the top down which are not intended to be going down the freeway backwards at 80 MPH. I would have never signed it off to be hauled that way.

took three tries before they moved car, and over a week. great language barrier with this companies drivers and dispachers only speak russian. could not get any thing sorted out. told there was no key with vehicle, would have to winch on truck. after two tries last time i drove 90 miles to bring them key. then driver had no change made overage a 25 dollar tip. if you deal with this outfit make sure you have your own change. neither freedom or their drivers has issues changing price of keeping your "tip". i move about 10 cars a year up till now usually had friends help, thought i would try this way, bad mistake, will not deal with this company again.

I planned on shipping my car cross country with Freedom Auto Transport. I requested a quote on their page and was contacted by an employee, Bob, who would be aiding me throughout the process. In the beginning, Bob seemed like a great representative for Freedom Auto and appeared to be transparent with me the process. A weeks after initially speaking with him, he informed me that everything was going well with my inquiry and that he/dispatch would be reaching out to me about placing an order & scheduling soon. Wanting clarification, I asked how much weight was I allowed to add to my car. I gave an estimate of how much I MAY add & Bob proceeded to ask for pictures of my belongings to send to a driver. I have not had any other broker ask this of me. Once I informed him that I wouldn't be able to send a picture of my belongings, he stopped responding to me. I waited a few hours and tried speaking with him again. I was met with silence.



Confused, I found another broker because I began to feel unsure of Freedom. Once I found one, I reached out to Bob & informed him that we wouldn't be moving forward. I was immediately met with pushback where he began to insinuate that I'd made the wrong decision and that something would happen to my belongings in my car that were being shipped. Soon after, I was informed by the new broker I'd found that Bob had listed my car on the loads board despite me not confirming anything/placing an order with Freedom. They said that this would affect my car being picked up. I asked Bob to take down the listing and he told me he had, but the other broker confirmed that he hadn't. I asked again via call and was met with very aggressive behavior from Bob, to which he still didn't remove the listing. I was forced to bring up legal action to get my car removed.



Despite not placing an order or giving any money to Freedom, I would not recommend this company or Bob's aid to anyone seeking a car shipment. Very unprofessional & scary behavior on their part.

It is now Wednesday, August 16 and the car was just dropped in my driveway. After receiving the quote, I was contacted by email by Freedom Auto Transport. I was provided a contract but was not pressured. I needed it handled so I signed the contract Monday evening, thinking I would be home by the time the contract was even assigned. On Tuesday morning, around 0830 hours, I received a call from Freedom Auto Transport and was asked to pay the $495 deposit, which I did via credit card. I was told the vehicle would most likely be picked up that same day. I had read some negative reviews about Freedom and figured they were blowing smoke. Early in the afternoon, I was contacted by the vehicle seller and told the contracted driver/trailer had arrived. I spoke with the driver Jorge Sanchez and he said I could expect the delivery late the next afternoon. Now I thought this was a little worrisome as I did not think the car could be delivered anywhere close to that estimate. Low and behold, Jorge delivered my vehicle to my driveway by 1730 hours on Thursday, August 16, Less than 48 hours from when I received the quote!!! We were traveling during this whole time and had started the process as we knew it would take a while and we would be home well before the delivery. We fly home tomorrow, Thursday, August 17, with the transport handled. In my opinion, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Freedom Auto Transport!! The quickness of it all even now, after delivery, seems impossible. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

Start off with this ! I have used this company for at least 8 years ! I buy and sell hot rods . They have put my transportation needs many times in the wrong hands and for that I have had many $100k plus rides messed up loading and unloading! They will not go to bat with insurance, they WILL turn their heads and ghost you In fact! This past transport was on a Custom 64 and while loading scratched the whole passenger side from front to rear ! Again no help and again I paid for repairs as the transport guy wasn't even insured!

Received other bids from other companies but the experience with Freedom Auto Transport and pricing was on point. Fast response (same day) I had everything I needed to make a decision and frankly the professional and positive experience right from the start really made the difference in choosing them. Keep up the great work! A++++

Was quoted $1250 to move an F250 from NC to CA, and received a call from Martyn Rothberg assuring me that this was easy and we could ship it hassle free. A week later I called to schedule the pick up and provided the pick up and delivery address, and was told that I would be booked on 4/24 or 4/25, but would cost closer to $1600, and they would make sure it didn't go over. I called on 4/25 asking if it had been book and was told he was still trying to lock in the best price, and that he would book it at $1,600 or less that afternoon and call me to confirm. I called this morning at 8:31 and did not receive an answer. Martyn responded via text at 8:48, and which time I called and terminated my business with them and told them to remove any bookings for my truck and requests for scheduling. I also informed him of the fraudulent review I found on Yelp he had posted to boost the rating. I received gaslighting text responses and insults, and had to call again after booking with American Auto Shipping in order to have the truck removed. I have included the text conversations with redacted personal information. Stay far away!

Pick up and delivery dates were agreed. I paid $300 deposit, right after that dates were changed. In fact I received my car a week later than it supposed to be delivered. I missed all my doctors appointments, because Mario lied me every day about delivery
Highly do not recommend this company!

Where do i even begin?! This is the SHADIEST, most UNPROFESSIONAL company to ever exist. I'll keep this short for the sake of those reading reviews and get straight to the point.

- They don't stick to the agreed upon quote. They try to swindle you for more money, knowing you need your car and back you into a corner.
- Customer service level= literally zero. At one point I was told "that's your f*cking problem"
- Pick up/drop off day and time is nowhere close to what you arrange with them

Agree with every single 1 star review here. They're a bunch of scum bags, run from this company.

Mike with Freedom Auto Transport is super unprofessional and shady. We called various companies asking for quotes and Mike with Freedom Auto Transport was just one of many quotes we got.

We never signed any paperwork nor verbally agreed to do business with his company. We actually found another company and signed an agreement to have them deliver our car but when they went to pick the car up, Mike with Freedom Auto Transport had listed our car with his company even though we NEVER AUTHORIZED it. This prevented the company we had an agreement with from loading our car up for delivery.

When we called Mike back, he gave us the run around and wouldn't take our car out of his system.

Again...we never agreed to work with him so what he did is not legal/authorized. When I reached back out to him a third time via text, the screenshot image shows the childish, immature nature. Freedom clearly hires just anybody. Horrible service. He never took our car down until we threatened to report him.

Great Service and Friendly Staff. I recently moved my vehicle from FL to NJ and they did an amazing job. I spoke to Izzy and Jake who were professional and extremely helpful explaining the process. This was my very first time moving a vehicle and it was a great first experience. They quoted me a very fair price and picked up and delivered my vehicle within the time frame that was promised. I was able to communicate with the gentlemen at Freedom Auto Transport and the driver, must say great line of communication. I highly recommend Freedom and will continue to use their services in the future.

I have used them twice to ship a car from South Florida to Southern California and back. Both experiences were great. Communicative and just as described. Will use them again when the time comes.

Anthony with Freedom Auto Transport was able to secure transport from Maryland to Georgia the same day as we called. Went smoothly during the initial booking. Anthony was friendly and responsive. A bit of a lack of communication with the local carrier but I called him and it was straightened out. But.... communication with Anthony after pickup was lacking. I called him twice and also emailed about a problem with delivery and never receive an response. Since it needed to be taken care of quickly I ended up calling the local carriers dispatch, who was able to resolve the problem. Except for the language communication problem with the driver and a bit of a problem with payment, everything went off as expected. The price was a little higher than the rest but because they could pick up the same day (within hours) I was willing to go that route. (The others couldn't offer anything sooner than middle of the next week for only a little less.) I also liked the fact that the carrier was local.

Freedom called me on a Wednesday evening saying the car would be picked up Thursday if I paid them the $300 deposit. Sounded good since I was in a rush and the quote was $1589. He then told me it's now $2080 and I need to make the deposit so the truck can get it Thursday. I felt like I didn't have an option so I paid them. The car was not picked up Thursday as I was told it would be. Not Friday either. Late Saturday I get a call that the truck was there to get the car. The driver delivered our car Tuesday. I asked the driver why he didn't get our car Thursday like he said he would. He told me he never said that. The broker misled me both on price and pickup date just to make a sale. It's flat out discouraging.

I will say though that the hauler, Dodi Transport, was fantastic. That's why I bumped it up to two stars.

We used this company a few weeks ago. Found them on uship.com. We never transported anything, never used the site before but we needed to transport a car in a hurry. Did quick research and found they have various locations. They're not registered with the BBB in terms of getting a letter grade but the site did have some information on them. Ultimately, our web research on them and came up with just OK reviews. Please note they are "BROKERS" so they contract out work.

Anthony Pravata was our agent. There are two other gentlemen that are agents as well. He was attentive. Yes, we kept calling him however, I give him credit. He returned our calls and trying to he stuck to his guns, making sure we got the price closest to his original quote. Originally we were quoted by him, $400 from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Dallas, GA. We ended up paying $425. We called him on Tuesday, did the reservation on Wednesday evening and the car was picked up on the Thursday morning as promised and on time.

Our transporter was Joel. Just to give you an example of his route, he was going from Macon, GA, our stop, then South Carolina, then New Jersey. In all honesty, he was very pleasant. The problem was his estimation in terms of time was way off. The car was supposed to be delivered around 6:30 am. It didn't arrive until about 3:30 pm. Now, during that time we were in constant contact with him but this is to show an example about his estimation of time.

Would I use them again? Yes, I believe so. It was not a bad experience. They were professional, quick (give or take), the car was delivered safely, car key returned and delivered without a scratch.

I used this company a couple of years ago, and it went very smoothly. More recently, it was a disaster. With the exception of one helpful employee, everyone else was terrible with communication. Though I'd been given a pick-up date, they moved it one day early at the last second. I left work early, cancelled my evening plans, and made sure I was there with my car ready. The driver was unable to make it, which would have been okay if someone had bothered to tell me about it! I called every number I had available to me and I could only get ahold of one girl, who said she would call me back, but didn't. She even admitted to me that she'd forgotten to call me back after learning my driver couldn't pick up my car until the following day! I waited for over 2 hours for a driver who was never coming.
