Images submitted are useless in promoting this business. Photos of a bunch of cars, really?! Not ne of the reviewers has image of the inspection, loading, receiving and signoff on paperwork. Reviews with a bunch of stars don't make the case to give my business and hand over my vehicle.

I went online to get a quote and at that time I listed my car as I operable b/c the transmission is out so it's not drivable and the tire is flat.

I was attempting to have my car shipped from Maryland to Michigan at the request of my father who is the actual owner of the vehicle. Many shippers automatically refused me or attempted to charge an insane amount of money b/c the car isn't drivable but I was excited b/c Executive Auto Shippers did not.

My first quote expired and was renewed so instead of being 800, it became 750 which I thgt was awesome.

Eager to get the car to my father, I completed my paperwork for the deposit and waited for confirmation.

I received a message surrounding my availability for which I said that "if I was required to be present then I would be out of town until Monday July 30 and would be available that day from 9 am onward and other than that day I said I would be available on the weekend."

I work 9-6 everyday so if I'm required to be there (which I was told I was) then it can't be during the time I'm working, of course.

I thgt all was well but as I was prepping for my trip, I received a message asking why my car was listed as inoperable. I was a little perplexed b/c it was marked as such even on my quote for more than a month and I could not understand why I was being asked after submission of my paperwork and payment instead of before.

While on my trip I received a message stating it could not be towed with a flat. This presented an obstacle that I could not even think abt remedying while out of town b/c even after returning, I couldn't very well drive an inoperable vehicle to get a tire fixed nor could I remove it myself so at that point my car was not in compliance to be transported. Suddenly, I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to finally get rid of this disabled vehicle taking up space in front of my home.

At no point did I inform EAS that the tire was fixed. Before I could contact them on Wednesday, while at work, I happened to notice that I had a boat load of calls and messages saying they had a driver ready to pick up the car...please call and confirm. I did not call and confirm considering I was working and unaware plus I stated my availability which was not Wednesday.

Eventually, time permitted, I called and spoke with the rep that had been assisting from the beginning but we got disconnected. Right before the disconnect, I told her the tire wasn't fixed and I wasn't sure how transporting it was going to be accomplished. She said air indeed needed to be put in the tire first. I told her I was at work and never stated I was even available Wednesday August 1st and there would be no way for me to do that at that moment.

I called her back and got no answer and when she finally called me back some time later she said the gentleman had in fact arrived and I would be charged a $200 non refundable deposit.

I was perplexed and upset and after speaking with a supervisor, I was left feeling like this is how they make their money.

My car was not compliant which was est after submission of paperwork and initial payment rather than before even though the status of the vehicle had been marked as inoperable since the beginning of the process.

Despite that, despite stating my availability, and despite not confirming being available for Wednesday pickup...someone was dispatched to my home and I was charged.

This is absolutely and utterly unacceptable.

They and the carrier they used damaged our vehicle transporting it. Damaged the rear hatch and rear tail light. As part of the repair process we had to take time to go get estimates, this is directly after making a 1100 mile move. In turning the estimate in they only accepted the lowest one. The damage will require the car to be at the shop multiple days. In discussing with Betty, they / the carrier are only required to make the repair, not provide a replacement rental car while that is happening. So we paid for the move of the vehicle, no refund, then we will pay to have a rental car while the repair takes place. Unsatisfied customer. If I could put negative star rating I would. They only received a star as I had to select that to post this.

I just took delivery of my car last night. The car arrived with no apparent damage. However, the experience was NOT good.

I'm a reasonable person - and "bad stuff happens", but how a service provider responds when things happen - is critical - especially for a $1,400 service.

Bottom line - the driver and the phone support around the delivery date were both unprofessional, and made my experience much more time consuming than it had to be. If you want more details, read below. Otherwise, simply take my advice, and look elsewhere. Ask lots of questions - ask if they provide tracking info and photos before and during the delivery. But stay away from Executive.
--------

1. I could only pay in cash. $200 deposit on credit card, but I had to have cash or money order for the driver. It's 2018, that's just not convenient, or normal. Even pizza delivery guys take credit on their iPhone.

2. I wasn't offered a receipt for my $1,200 cash payment to the driver. It was such a hectic experience, it didn't occur to me until it was too late.

3. The day before, and the day of deliver was a disaster. The driver tried to coordinate the location and time via phone and text - which seemed fine. However, even though they knew my exact location for weeks - it was the day before, that they determined my street was unacceptable as a drop off location. I challenged them nicely on this - but the driver lectured me about his experience, and the challenges of dropping it off on a residential street. I was not forewarned of this.

4. The driver then suggested I meet him at a location that was 30-40 minutes each way from my home. Ok. How was I gonna get there? - He suggested an Uber - which he would pay for when I got there. This was getting frustrating.

5. So then I called Executive Auto Shippers - and they called him, which in turn - he yelled at me for. Not good customer service.

6. Ultimately, he gave me a 6-8 hour window for drop off. I gave him a 2 hour window of when I could *NOT* be there to receive the car (it was decided we'd meet behind a Walmart last night - in the dark - lots of good clean fun there...) However, he completely ignored this communication though I reiterated it - so he showed up right at the start of the 2 hour window where I was unavailable. This delayed drop off until after 8pm - he was short, discourteous, and EAS defended themselves on the phone to me - and scoffed at my request for a modest discount.

I requested car shipping from Executive Auto Shippers based on a variety of good reviews and ratings. This was my first time shipping the car. The facilitator, sasha, did an excellent job of guiding me through the process. The driver, andre, picked up the car as planned. He was close to arrival one day earlier than expected and gave me the option of an earlier delivery late that evening or an on time delivery the next day.
The car arrived undamaged at a place that was convenient for me.
This shipment took place 8/2017.

My Mother-in-Law shipped her car to me from Aiken, SC to Los Angeles, CA in October 2016. I found Executive Auto Shippers on the Better Business Bureau website and they were highly rated, with competitive pricing. Cassandra was our sales rep and gave us a great quote, and was responsive to all of our needs. Yura, the driver, was friendly and courteous. My car arrived safely in a short amount of time, considering the distance (4 days! Other places quoted me 10 days!)

Originally, the car was going to be delivered to me at work, but I had second thoughts about that due to traffic concerns, so the driver was kind enough to agree to meet me after work, near my own neighborhood.

If I ever have to transport a car again, I will definitely use this company.

2 stars may be a bit of a low score, but I don't think a 3 star rating would be accurate. Don't get me wrong, this type of shipping service is very helpful, however, my designated liaison did not follow up as one would expect. It didn't help that my designated transport driver didn't check in with my liaison...he ultimately arrived two days after the originally quoted date. The ability to talk with one of the owners was helpful, when needed, but it shouldn't have come to that. Despite my high hopes that since EAS has consistently has ranked high upon Angie's List my satisafaction would have guaranteed, but in the back of my mind I keep hearing the old saying "....you get what you pay for....."

Update: September 14th, 2015

After much discussion with EAS, EAS will not provide any compensation or replacement funds for the stolen items. Replacement costs total to over $600. This is unfortunate, please take my loss as a warning about this company.

Worst group of clowns I have ever dealt with. I signed a contract with them for shipment to be completed two days ago and still don't have my car. Every time I call, I get a different answer from my rep. No idea what they are doing. I am currently awaiting correspondance from them on the status of delivery and have no recourse but to get an attorney if this is not resolved, quickly.
