Finest Movers Inc.
Customer Reviews
DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. Firstly, I asked for 3 movers, and they sent 2 of the skinniest unexperienced movers they could find. Secondly, When the job was near complete, the owner insulted me as if I was trying not to pay. They gave a price that WAS NOT what we had discussed initially so I asked them to send an itemized receipt to my email for my review. They then began yelling "WE NEED TO GET PAID. I CAN'T HANG UP WITHOUT PAYMENT" I was totally taken aback. I just needed time to review because the amount they said was not what I agreed to weeks before but I had every intention to pay for the service I was provided. They ended up still charging my card the amount I didn't agree to, then sent a refund for the difference which is shady since payment was taken over the phone. The correct amount should've been charged. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DISRESPECT. THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR WORD ON COST WHEN YOU FIRST CALL. There are many other companies to go with with substantial reviews. DON'T BELIEVE ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS AND THEY ARE NOT RATED WITH BBB. WEAKEST, RUDEST, LYING FELLAS.
As of December 9, 2017 this company is not licensed to do any moves. As of December 28, 2018, this company is being investigated by the Attorney General of the State of Florida for fraud.
I recently arranged a small cross country move from Cocoa Beach, Florida to Tacoma, Washington. It was very harrowing in the beginning because I started with one company in Chicago, then ended up with one in South Florida. The company that ended up with the move was very accommodating and assisted me with a short fused move. The guys coming to pack me were in touch and ended up having to get a different truck, but showed up when he said he would. They were extremely polite and got right to it. I only had about 400CF so it was small. I stressed for days about this because the driver, Patrico, said they were going back to Miami to a warehouse. I didn't know what to do. I called the original company and that guy wouldn't even talk to me, another review for that, anyway, that was on Friday and I had to wait until Monday to find out what was going on. I spoke with Chuck Torres. He assured me my property was safe and it would be loaded and delivered in the 14-21 business day timeframe.
Well I kept calling him and bless his heart, he kept indulging me. Finally the following Friday he called and said my property had begun its cross country journey. From that point, I had to rely on the new driver for updates. He texted me and gave me a tentative delivery date. From that point, he dealt directly with my daughter in Tacoma. All went well. After the delivery, one dining room chair was missing. The driver said it was probably on the truck. My worst nightmare, that something would get separated. Moving on, in about three days the driver called and he did find the chair and where she could pick it up. The only thing that was missing and not found was a set of metal bed rails, not a frame but two rails. It just wasn't an issue because everything that was important made it and nothing was damaged. So to this end I had an excellent experience with Finest Movers in South Florida and would recommend them. This was a big deal for me, to put my trust in total strangers and have NO control with how it would go. I do not understand why they have an F grade. They were very helpful, kind and accommodating. This review is real and if there's a way to ask questions I will be happy to answer. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
Complete SCAM. East Coast Movers/Global Movers/Finest Movers. Reporting them to the BBB, media, OAG, and other outlets. Do NOT work with this organization. You will not get you phone calls answered & the will not call you back. All of the staff was beyond rude after they setup the move. Lenny the sales guy was a good con. Stephanie their manager was the absolute worst on the phone. She actually put me on hold because she "she didn't want to get upset" after she called me rude and condescending.
I've been looking for my property for days. I am delayed on relocating by 4 days because I went with East Coast Movers. I had to report my property stolen to local law enforcement.
IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO ESTABLISH A JOINT LAWSUIT ON THIS COMPANY REACH OUT TO ME.

This company is also masked under East Coast Moving & Storage, who I was led to believe I was booking my move through. DOT: 1896009 MC:681911
I only give 1 star because I cannot give 0.
They failed to provide movers and did not contact me to let me know. They were impossible to get on the phone, did not once call back regarding my pending inquiries and were passive aggressive and rude. Up until the move date, I felt confident in the company and agents I had spoken with.
I booked my move 1 month prior to moving and the day of the move, they failed to provide a mover and did not even contact me to inform me. When they failed to provide a mover, I was told it is because their movers DO NOT GO NORTH OF NEW JERSEY and my move was out of New Hampshire.
The week prior to the move, I contacted the company, and after many attempts via the phone and email, I got through with customer serve. I was told that I would get a phone call from dispatch 1-2 days before the move to inform me of the time. The 1st possible day of my move, I had not heard anything and contacted the company again. I was told that I would receive a call between 3-5 PM from dispatch telling me when the movers would arrive- I did not receive a call. On the 2nd potential move day it took 2 hours to get through to somebody on the phone. I finally spoke with someone who said they would follow up with dispatch to find the issue, he did not call me back, and I was unable to get through to him the remainder of the day (the operator would not put me through to him).
Finally, I spoke with customer service who then informed me they could not find any drivers to agree to do the move because I am in New Hampshire and their drivers do not go further north than New Jersey. My origin of move was always New Hampshire, and they agreed to do the move under these pretenses so I told them they needed to find me a driver to complete the move that weekend, they said they would. Dispatch said they would call back at a certain time to update me and they did not. I was responsible for calling back every 2 hours to find an update (each time it took approximately 10 calls to get through to someone).
The last phone call was at 3:30, and I asked what time they closed and was told 5:30. I called back at 4:30 and the office had already been closed. After many final calls, I got though to the dispatch person on call, who said she had 2 potential drivers and she was waiting on a confirmation and that she would call back. She did not call back and I was unable to get through the remainder of the weekend.
Monday, I called & spoke with customer service agent, who said he would find the issue and call me back. He did not. He was passive aggressive and rude on the phone and like all of the other employees, did not put any priority on my issue. I never once received a call or explanation of the issue. I was told I would receive a refund of my deposit, but I have not yet. Each time I call, they say the check will be sent at the end of the day- they have still failed to send the reimbursement check.

DO NOT use Finest Movers out of FL DBA East Coast Move Moving & Storage. Unprofessional! Unreliable! Unresponsive.
If I could give a negative response, I would. SAVE yourself from stress and $$$ from this horrible company!
You're welcome.
Everyone who has moved knows that it can be extremely stressful. Being in this situation and working with a company like this takes away most of the stress.
The pre-move work relied on a few weeks notice. We went back and forth a few times about boxes. My point of contact was extremely convenient in any changes that I made. At one point, I decided to potentially add a few things from my mother's place that she had brought over. We went over the price changes and told me to leave room for extra boxes just in case. I ended up not needing the boxed but they were there to help and answer the phone most of the time.
The moving company, that they subcontracted for, I think that's who they were... Were very professional, nice and easy to work with. Answered any of my questions. They asked about the house and apartment so that they could be well prepared day of. On delivery - everything went smoothly and I received everything.
