So I'm writing this review not as a consumer but as a contractor that transported a load for fleet express auto transport. Richard the one who seems to be in charge of this company, who is anything but a legit business owner. As I mentioned before. I was contracted to move a vehicle and the job was completed without any concerns. the customer paid Richard and Richard text me that he would pay my company for the load. Well that conversation was on June 28th 2023. It is now July 20th 2023. My company has not been able to contact richard to receive payment due to richards lack of business ethnics. He will not answer call, text messages and emails. Richard seems to be a small, shallow, coward of a businessman. This is not personal, this is business. If you are in business and cant pay your bills then your wrong. So warning to transporters who are moving loads for this guy richard, you may not get your pay. Do not business with this company. I will be contacting the FMCSA for further instruction for getting payment owed to my company.

I've used this company twice. Richard is amazing! He even remembered me from transporting my car 3.5 year prior. He made sure I received my car at my new location on time...it even came earlier than expected. I will for sure continue to use him and recommend him to anyone that I know needing auto transportation services.

Jessie R must be a friend of Richard Kelly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Every bad thing that was said in the other 7 one star reviews was true. Unreliable, unresponsive, and unprofessional. They did not pick up my car as promised. If only I had read these reviews before I attempted to use Fleet Express!! This is a sham of a company and I do not know how they still have a license.

Unreliable, irresponsible company. My car was supposed to be picked up Wednesday 2pm, of course they didn't show up until midnight, Richard didn't return phone calls and texts. When I finally got hold of him on the phone all he said was he would call me back once he figured thing out and hung up on me. Finally my car was picked up on Friday by a third party of which trailer broke down on the way to MD and got delayed yet another day. I couldn't believe how this company manages to stay on business. My car was delivered 4 days later than scheduled, which seriously messed up my schedule. On top of that, Richard lost my card info and failed to pay the trailer guys who delivered my car and they kept calling me asking for the payment. Do Not Use Fleet Express!!!

I'm so disappointed with Richard Kelly. I contacted him in early April about transporting my mother's car from Florida to Missouri. I spoke with him many times and he was always very nice and confident that the car would be transported on the date set in our contract. However, now the date has come and gone and now he does not answer calls. He doesn't even have the decency to speak with me about the transport. It's a shame. A simple phone call and honest discussion could have avoided this. Now my 85 year old parents are without their car and no clue when or if it will be picked up. They are so worried. Not the way to treat clients, let alone the elderly.

I've recently bought a Mercedes Benz GLC 300 from a dealer in AR. When I needed to ship it to my home state WA, the sale person recommended Richard at Fleet Auto Transport. Richard gave me a straight forward quote, which was better than any other ones. He, upfront, promised to pick up the car in 2 weeks; and he did. Unlike some other auto transport companies who I'd worked with, he never raised the price. He collected 10% after pickup and the rest to the driver at the time of delivery. The car was delivered without any damage one day earlier than the estimate.

The only minor complain I have is that no one gave my contact number to the driver. So, he showed up at my door one day earlier without any advance notice. Luckily, I had the cashier's check ready to pay him.

STOP, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use Fleet Express!

I wish my son had done his due diligence on this company. Thankfully Uship stepped in and has started filing papers with all parties.
To think you did this to someone in the Navy that has been deployed since October is disgusting and vile.

This Ricardo, Richard or whatever name he is using, does NOT answer his phone even when Uship sends emails and calls. When they did manage to reach him once, he lied and said he just got off the phone with his driver. He told Uship that the driver had just spoken to me which was laughable because I was on the phone.

I'll add more later, just be warned! Anything positive has been manufactured in his office.
He uses burn phones and different aliases. Beginning to sound like those Nigerian Scammers doesn't it?
Call Uship or contact me, I'll give you texts, emails and phone records.

Worst company ever Richard will answer calls up until it's time to pick up the vehicle then he magically never speaks again. Overall they lost a high end client and a lot of money for no reason. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

If I could give this company a zero I would. Today the company was suppose to pick up my boyfriend's car for a cross country move from California to Philadelphia. It is currently 2:50pm and Richard Kelly is not answering his phone, plus sending my boyfriend to voicemail. My boyfriend called Richard early in the morning to find out when the driver would arrive. Richard said he would call back to find out the ETA of the driver. Still no word and my boyfriend's flight leaves tomorrow.

We are stuck in a bind trying to find a last minute moving company. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Listen to everyone who has written a review. This company is a sham and will let you down the day of.

Words can not express how mad we are. We wish we would have seen these reviews before hand.

DO NOT USE FLEET EXPRESS AUTO TRANSPORT - We contacted this company and paid to ship our vehicle. They said the car was going to picked up Friday morning, after waiting half of the day, we were told that evening by 6:30pm or Saturday morning early. We needed the company to pick up the car as our plans were to leave early Saturday morning to the delivery State. Saturday came, we kept on calling no response, texted no response. Sometime mid morning we finally received a text stating we will receive a call shortly. That never happened. A series of calls & texts from us to this company, & no response. At 1:03 pm we received a text "pick up Monday, $100 more". No call back, no apology, no explanation. With that, we asked for our money back.

This company was very unprofessional & did not live up to their word. We were totally inconvenienced & had to put our vehicle back in storage & leave without it. This company never thought about the customer. Now we will have to make another trip back to have another company transport the vehicle. Please do not use this company, save yourself the headache.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Do not use Fleet Express! They promised me my car on Saturday morning and it didn't arrive until Monday morning at 7am. They didn't return phone calls or texts all weekend lending to a highly stressful situation. I was waiting around all weekend for my car to arrive in L.A. from Florida and when I did get ahold of Richard on Sunday I told him I was going to call the police and he told me to go ahead, call the police! and hung up on me. So professional.

I blame myself for not checking their reviews on Yelp first for I would have seen all the negative reviews and would have gone with another carrier, even if it cost me a few more dollars. These guys are hacks and don't communicate for sh**. If you're okay with that, then they're your company. But if you like to know when your car is arriving, don't use Fleet Express, for they keep you in the dark.
