JP Towing Company (JP Auto Transport)

After reading nightmare reviews left by customers for many of the large auto transport companies despite all the paid-for "top 5" articles saying how great they are, I was very nervous about finding an honest and reliable company to have my vehicle shipped. Even though it's a 14-year-old Wrangler with pinstripes and now transmission issues, I'm sentimentally attached to it! I finally went with JP Auto Transport after seeing a post from them on Reddit. They were more expensive than the lowest quote I received by about $100, but they were very responsive, were semi-local to my area, and believed they could get my marginally operational vehicle from Las Vegas to LA within about two days of my booking.



I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to deliver my Jeep a day earlier than expected, and in an enclosed trailer even though I hadn't paid extra to request enclosed storage when I booked the shipment. I recommend them to others and would use them again, although hopefully I don't have to!

Don't even think twice, these guys are pros! My car was in perfect condition from Maryland to Washington State! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!

I really wanted to provide good feedback for this company; unfortunately, I cannot. I tried doing the online quote and received a price of 1895 - a great price. The system did not send me a confirmation or a text. No biggie.

I called them the next day and they referenced the quote and said they would get back to me with a pick up time within the next 72 hours. Well it has been a week - no call no pick up no nothing.

Pretty bad. I would have settled for a call at 72 hours telling me they could not hire anyone for the price they quoted. Oh well.

I found someone that picked up the car in 24 hours. Yes I paid 200 dollars more - but the car is there.

I shipped my car last week using JP auto transport. Jose was great giving me a very competitive pricing. I was local in Pomona so they were able to pick my car up and delivered the car to TX in just about 2 days. This was awesome service. They didn't nickel or dime me for the cost and they stuck to the original quote. They are owners and operators of their trucks to TX so they were no brokers involved which made this process a lot smoother. The website is very detailed and let you know where the truck is at a precise moment and they kept their word on the pickup date and most importantly the delivery date. The process was very simple.

TRUST ME!!! USE THESE GUYS!!! THEY ARE GREAT!!!!

I'm going to add one star just because they did stay in communication, although they weren't able to do much once the third party trucker had my car, and was extremely delayed.

The pricing of $1450 grabbed my attention to go from CA to NC. I booked it 2 weeks before my trip and 4 days prior, they still couldn't find me a truck. Had me very worried. The rep on the phone was sweet and understanding but my stress levels were through the roof. I also was the one asking all the questions, it wasn't told to me on the phone when I called the first time. Recommend going over all the fine details with the customer when they initially reach out to your company to make it seem like you want the business! Anyway, ended up booking with another provider who promised the car would leave their lot within 2 days and they pulled through.

This post isn't to bring down this company, I have read great reviews. Perhaps they would be better with a local commute or if you were going to a larger city, let's say NYC.

Price was good compared to others. When I first contacted they were really friendly. My downside was the huge lack of communication. I must of called and texted every day and either there was no response or they said they are looking into it and will get back to me (never got back to me) and then no response when I text again. Delivery was supposed to be on a Sunday and no contact from them. They didn't even tell me when my car was going to be delivered. I had to call the company they hired and then they had to get me to the local delivery place. Yes 3 different companies my car went through. It was just a HUGE lack of communication when makes me feel uncomfortable when I'm supposed to trust a company with my car. My car was delivered late or I guess they say "Typically between 2-4 days" mine was after 4 days. But I have my car now and that's all that matters.

I purposely used this company to transport my car because they were highly rated, even though they cost $300 more than other companies. I wanted someone reliable as I had hear such horror stories from "less reputable" companies of delays in receiving cars etc... Unfortunately, a major delay is exactly what I got from JP Auto Transport. My car arrived 6 days later than promised (even factoring in the window of time they gave). They claimed the 3rd party company they hired to ship the car had truck problems and had to wait for a new part. I do not believe this. Either way, JP auto was unresponsive to my concerns with dealing with this sub-par 3rd party company, (a company that's not even listed on Yelp, or anywhere for that matter, I have no way of holding them accountable too, since they list themselves NOWHERE on the internet) until I texted multiple times and became more hostile -- then JP auto claimed they would talk to the 3rd party company about discounting my final price, since my delay in receiving my car was so extreme -- yet ultimately I got no discount at all, and when I contacted JP auto to complain about them failing to keep their promises on the discount, I heard nothing back from them. Nothing. That was 4 days ago. For $300 I could have gotten the same subpar treatment from one of the "lesser" car shipment companies and I wish I had. Skip JP auto until they decide to be fully accountable for the companies they work with. Use someone else.
