Nations Auto Transport LLC
Customer Reviews
Terrible service. Avoid this company at all costs. I used them and had the misfortune of dealing with Daniel Espindola when I shipped my car, and he turned out to be unprofessional and completely incompetent. I set up my transport a month in advance, but as my ship/move date approached I had heard nothing from Daniel--no contract, no bill, no itinerary. I had to call him repeatedly and kept getting voicemail, empty assurances, and then attitude from him, and the next thing you know he's on vacation in Florida and had forgotten all about my car--and I was moving in two days. The last thing you need when moving is to deal with this type of indifference and incompetence. He finally arranged it (and messed up the delivery date I had requested), and subcontracted it off to some other company to drive it up. The driver spoke no English and wouldn't answer the phone when I called so it was a real pain to arrange the dropoff. What a nightmare. This company is absolutely not recommended. Do yourself a favor and find a company that actually takes pride in its work, for they take none. Post script: Judging by the other reviews here, it looks like their MO is to dismiss negative reviews by pretending they weren't the company reviewers actually dealt with, but trust me, these negative reviews are spot on from my experience.
Unprepared, unprofessional, rude, inept, and under qualified.
If you are looking for lackluster and subpar, they have you covered.
My company was subcontracted to haul a unit for them. Upon arriving, we were informed the unit had been moved over 2 weeks prior.
Two weeks prior to the dispatch.
Two weeks prior to our arrival.
Two week prior to any follow-up with the end user or the manufacturer.
The arrogant broker on the phone was rude to the driver and the department head at the manufacturer, to the point when the broker hung up, she commented on how rude and gruff he was to the both of us.
As we compared documents, she provided proof it was indeed gone weeks prior to my company's assignment. The broker in question has no business being in this business or any customer facing business for that matter.
I had spent the last month looking for a car relocation service and it was a huge headache. There were thousands of calls that came in just for putting out a couple of inquiries about availability and pricing for a vehicle pick up in Michigan and drop off in Overland Park. More than anything, I couldn't trust any of these businesses because they'll do and say almost anything to close a sale. I didn't give up hope and kept searching, I tried local listings and found Nations Auto Transport. I called and left a voicemail initially, and they returned my call within the hour. Steve helped me find a driver within 24 hours and my car arrived within 3 business days, including a holiday. Most of all, Steve assured me that Nation's Auto was on my team and they kept their word. I'm extremely happy with the customer service and timely fashion in which my order took place. I was about to book this transport with a company that wanted to charge me much more to guarantee a delivery within a 2-3 week delivery window. Needless to say, I made the right choice!
I would like to post a positive review for Nations Auto Transport because our family recently need to transport a precious car from Missouri to California & NAT made it happened for us in a timely fashion. We were originally referred by a dealership and when we called NAT, they gave us an email quote with in 10 minutes (including the price differentiation of open & closed shipping). When we finally decided to hire them for the service, an order form was sent to us right away (with most of the destination info already filled out). All we got to do was to write down the car information, sign on the bottom and faxed back to their main office). The rep even told us not to pay them just yet (until driver and trailer were all set to go). NAT originally told us that their assigned truck will pick up our car from Missouri with in 4 days & will arrive CA with in another 4 days. It later turns out to be the next day pick up after our order form were faxed back. Most of all, the driver ended up arriving CA with in 2 and half days. Much faster than expected. The car also arrived without any dent or scratch. The only small down side was that their driver's trailer had a little malfunction when arriving CA thus they can not drop off our car right after reaching the state. Nevertheless, all it's mechanical problem were fixed the next morning so we only waited an extra day for the vehicle to land at our door (which was still shorter than the original expected delivery schedule). I would give at least 8 or 9 out of 10 for NAT....and for those who need to have there cars shipped across states, y'all can definitely try NAT (& ask for Mike)!
NEVER go with this company!! - This company SUBCONTRACTS to other companies that mishandle your car. Then they don't pick up your calls not the company nor the driver who has your car! The SUBCONTRACTOR Southwest Northeast Transport Inc. kept my car for 3 days and drove my car 200 miles+ and emptied my gas tank! ANYTHING COULD HAVE HAPPENED. before putting it on a truck. After being delivered they threatened to leave if we didn't pay cash upfront which was not part of the contract - orginally on credit card.- we almost called the COPS as the driver was hasselling the party who received the car.
I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS COMPANY !!
I will totally agree with Mike A. DO NOT USE. Super helpful and responsive when bidding. They knew I was looking to get this car to AZ from MD by the beginning of January when they took the bid and never mentioned a word about "problems" because of holiday shipping etc. Then the car sat. And sat. For nearly 2 weeks. I have requested that my deposit be refunded and hopefully that will be done. When I called the office to cancel the woman said that "it's just a hard area to transport from, not many trucks up there" REALLY?? Located in one of the most population heavy areas on the east coast- right between Baltimore and Washington, DC. Never heard that one before!
one star only because zero isnt an option. from start to finish horrible service. scheduled an order on a friday was told a truck is going to pick my car on monday, cool awsome. monday comes the rep tells me itll be there after you get off work, cool. i get off work nothing, i wait and call the rep he tells me truck is running late, ok no problem. truck doesnt come, ok tuesday comes i get a old of the rep and he tells me he had to get a different driver, weird. i wonder why, anyways different driver is suppose to come after 4, ok. i ask for the drivers phone number, he tells me he'll get it from dispatch, ok cool. hour goes by nothing, i sent a text to the guy(he preferred to text) if a driver is going to come down today after 4 still, no reply, getting annoyed now. 4 rolls around i ask if anyone is coming, he says sorry im canceling the order hes having problems with the carrier he doesnt want to keep me waiting. wtf!? how do you go from a driver is coming to hes having problems?
bottom line was i was lied to from the beginning, there was no driver ever coming or anytime soon for that fact. He couldnt get me a number to the driver which indicates there was no driver, lies from the very beginning, i asked for my deposit back and am waiting on that right now. The manager julie doesnt pick up her phone during working hours or calls back. we'll see if i get my 200 dollar deposit back. these guys arnt running a business theyre running a circus. HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE communication.
Dont think twice about having these people deal with your transport!!!
