Number 1 Auto Transport

I was extremely nervous about this process because I've never shipped my car across the country, and while researching companies I saw a lot of horror stories about people getting screwed over, but I didn't have any issues and I will definitely go with Number 1 again if I need to ship my car. As others have said, John was very helpful and easy to work with; the amount I was quoted when I initially spoke with him was the amount I had to pay, and there was never any attempt to add any additional fees.

We needed to get our car from TX to Cali and got matched with a driver the very next day after booking and our car arrived promptly 4 days after pick up in the exact condition we dropped it off in. I highly recommend using this company for being honest and clear with everything and most importantly delivering on their promises! Thank you John!

If I could give 100 stars I would. My son is a professional baseball player for the Savannah Bananas. They organized shipping the car from Georgia to Island Park N.Y. Did not take a penny until the car was pick up in Georgia. Car was delivered by CarPoint express in perfect condition for which I paid the balance. I will be using them again when my son has to report to Georgia February 2024. I highly recommend this transport company.

There aren't enough words to describe how much Number 1 Auto Transport exceeded my expectations. From the moment of my initial inquiry, Marc R. responded quickly and provided me with details of the process and timing of the transport. He set reasonable timeframes and was upfront about cost, payment processing, insurance coverage, and transport time.

Once I confirmed that I wanted to move forward, Marc immediately called the dealership and introduced himself, and explained what the dealership could expect from Number 1 when picking up the vehicle. Even the dealership was impressed!

On June 6, 2023, I confirmed my intention to move forward and my car was picked up the same day from the Pacific Northwest region and headed to Texas! Rob from Number 1 stayed in contact with me and shared the expected delivery throughout the process and shared my driver's name. During this time, I experienced an unexpected death in my family and would not be in town at the estimated time of arrival of the car. I explained this to Rob and he reconfirmed that the car would make it to me on June 11, 2023.

My driver, Dima, was great! He kept me updated a day before his arrival and on the same day of delivery, he told me where to meet him and he was punctual. When we arrived, Dima had the car off the truck, we inspected the vehicle, and we were on our way. Fast and efficient.

While I am not one for long reviews, I find it necessary to share my experience if anyone is leery. I had the heebie-jeebies after talking to and corresponding with some of these transport companies. The other companies were grimy, overly aggressive in their approach, and spammed me with calls and texts with no details on how to professionally earned my business. Number 1 was the opposite.

It took a lot of research and my nerves were bad, honestly. I never thought I'd find a reliable and professional transport until I found Number 1 Transport. Marc, Rob, and Dima were THE best and I am so thankful for them. I highly recommend and would use this company again.

Excellent service from Number 1 Auto Transport! We had our 2 cars shipped from Southern California to Texas and Sam was such great help. Responsive, consistent, and reliable support throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!

Great transport service! Had an auto sent from Dallas to Seattle. Got there in under 4 days and driver was very helpful in communicating when we could pick it up and where. Would definitely use Number1 again.

Outstanding! Shipped a cool Toyota Tacoma from Brooklyn to Santa Cruz CA...Marc was extremely professional on the phone and in the email, very patient in explaining how it would go. Everything went incredibly smoothly and well within all the timeframes he projected...the truck was picked up a couple of days after signing and basically arrived on the 6th day of a 6-10 day estimate for crossing the country. Fees all straight forward and upfront, no nonsense or trying to add on to the original quote.

The only detail was they couldn't deliver to "the door" of the CA house as the car carrying truck is huge and can't get down some fairly ordinary streets/make turns so it was dropped off nearby, but that in itself was an enjoyable experience.

Car arrived in fine condition.

Driver friendly and communicated well.

Awesome, would absolutely go straight to them for any future car shipping.

Number 1 has given me a partial refund. I think they have earnestly tried to correct the gross neglect of the transporter. To their credit, they have apologized a number of times, and have discontinued using the Step by Step Auto Transport as a result of this incident.
I wish none of this ever happened. Regardless of the value of the Porsche, I have always taken great care of the cars I have owned. So, it was not just an expensive car, but an extension of the value I place in motor vehicle ownership.

Rude and unhelpful
Priced moving a truck, got a call while working. Same thing with other movers I contacted, not a problem, they were able to cut to the chase. Not "Joe"
This guy would not deviate from his smarmy condescending script despite me asking him to twice. I finally asked "Hey, I'm working right now, can you just give a ballpark price?," and he said "I am too" and then hung up.
Several hours he sent me stock emails to move forward with the reservation. Slimy.
