I was recommended this shipping company through a car auction site.



Note; this is a shipping management company, not the actual shipping company. So they contract out to truckers for shipments. I do not know who they contracted out to, so I will be reviewing Preowned Auto Logistic's portion of the process.



Chris was very professional and kind. He found a truck for me within a few hours and I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. The initial truck driver was rude and hung up on me when I told him I needed to cancel. No matter though, Chris picked right back up and found another truck to get my car to me within a few days. I had a million questions and so I called multiple times, Chris answered all of them and assured me they were looking for a truck to ship as soon as possible.



It was a short(er) drive from Texas to Arizona. The second driver was communicative both by text and phone calls between me and the previous owner of the vehicle. Already a much better experience than the first driver! Really appreciate their service, all around a good experience. Highly recommend!

Car was delivered as contracted, although there were issues with the company's communication, particularly regarding the delivery date. My concerns about their communication were addressed by the company president after the fact to my satisfaction.

I used preowned for car transport between California and Maryland. The Impreza was virtually new (we purchased it about a month earlier). It was delivered to us with several dents on the roof. I submitted a claim and was told they would handle the matter in a week. After a month of checking in with them they asked for an estimate. I visited a body shop and obtained the estimate. Once submitted I waited another month. Each time I contacted them the point person would tell me they'd get back to me soon and then I would hear nothing. Now we are coming up on three months and still now word. It's clear they will do nothing to remedy the damage their drivers inflicted upon my car.

I picked Preowned Auto Logistics on the advice of a friend, but I will never accept advice from him again. I needed to have my older car shipped to Florida for my son who was going to sell his old car and drive mine to Denver. Given the travel plans I called a number of places to find a reasonable price and a company that could get it to Florida within a week of pick up. After a couple of false starts I chose Preowned as they were local and told me that they could ship it from Peabody to a yard in Florida for pick up by my son. I was told it was a direct trip from Peabody to Seminole on one carrier and it was direct. I got my car to them on a Monday and was told it would be there by the end of the week, so four days. Lots of calls emails and texts went mostly unanswered and bottom line is it took 8 days to get there and despite lots of questions about what happened I got no answers. As long as you don't count on the truth of what they tell or you have a deadling then they are okay. I would never use them again.

We love doing business with Pre-owned Logistics. Tom is a great guy to work with and it is always a pleasure.

I have been using pre-owned for several years in shipping my car from Boston to Florida.
The customer service is GREAT!
In today's age of shoddy service, this is a very welcome relief.
Communication is prompt, people are professional and friendly.

After I left my original review, Preowned followed up with me and apologized for the delays and poor communication. They refunded me ~7% of the transport cost, which was nice. I appreciate the apology, and am glad they are improving their customer service & communication.

Very unhappy with the services from this company. We got our car back and tons of items were stolen. When we called this company said they do not cover anything inside the car.

Do not use this company. They not only hire drivers that are criminals they did nothing at all to make things right.

If you don't care about your items getting stolen and looked through - yes they even went through ladies undergarments I would say use this company. If you are a moral person you will boycott them.

Pros:
Getting the details and quote is a smooth process.
Reasonable quote.
Option to deliver the car at their office in Salem instead of pick-up. Helps when you are north of boston and want to ship it asap.

Cons:
No tracking option (I dont know whether it is available with others but there should be an update email at least every day).
The transport company they use is not very good.
