Priority Auto Relocations Inc.
Customer Reviews
We chose Priority Auto Relocations out of many available options. And we regretted it.
We were shipping a Lincoln Navigator from NJ to CA and the cost was $2465 for an enclosed shipment. That seemed fine.
We had a pickup date of 2/13 and estimated delivery date of 2/20.
This was perfect because the vehicle was a gift for my wife's birthday on 2/26, so we had plenty of time.
The car was picked up on time.
Then came the delays and excuses.
Firstly, they outsourced to a driving company called Epic Hauling, where nobody speaks English. They are all Polish. So when they call, you can't understand anything they say.
Next, the delivery was delayed due to mechanical issues with the shipping truck.
Not once, not twice, not 3 times.
Not even 4 times.
They had mechanical issues 5 separate times.
And each issue caused a 2-3 day delay. Multiply that by 5 and things are not looking good.
Needless to say my wife's birthday came and went. And the surprise was ruined.
I always wanted to get her a car like this, and wrap it in a bow like the commercials. :(
We ended up getting the vehicle in early March. Very late at night.
They asked if I had a flashlight to inspect the car. And we used Google translate to communicate.
Not anything like the experience I hoped for or was promised.
If you don't care about how long your shipment takes, then this may be the company for you.
Otherwise you have many other options.
THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST!!!! If you need to ship a car call Scott or Michael. They are the owners and are honest and trustworthy. After having the bait and switch tactic that most moving companies use happen to me ( quoting a low price then doubling + upon pick up) I called Priority Auto Relocations and Scott made my move happen within hours. He was honest and upfront about the cost as well as fair. The car was picked up on a Friday with an arrival date of the following Tuesday. It was delivered early, arriving on Sunday! Couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism of this company. Do your research and believe the reviews when choosing a company. Many are crooks and will keep your deposit after using the bait and switch on you. Priority Auto Relocations has EXCELLENT reviews.....BELIEVE THEM AND ME!!! Thank you Scott!!

Five stars!! I used priority auto relocations a while back and I am using them again now. I was extremely happy with the level of service that Scott provided and I would not think twice about using them again. Scott is very responsive and takes a comprehensive approach to handling dispatch which puts my mind at ease. Fully recommended! Thumbs up!
Sadly, not impressed. Scott is a nice kid and I think he tries hard. It's a tough service with seemingly a lot of undercutting and rogue drivers and companies. He is a broker that simply coordinates a trucking company to pick up a vehicle and deliver it. He has no liability and no real responsibility. I wanted to use his services but ultimately did not. He could not deliver. I kept asking for proof of insurance and he kept saying he would get it to me but never did. The last time I spoke to him he said he was talking to the trucking company and would call me right back. He didn't. I moved on and hired someone else. As a customer you need to be comfortable with who you use. You have to feel as though your vehicle will be taken care of. So, can I rate the company since I ultimately didn't use them? I think so because I tried but they were unable to get it done. Again, Scott seems like a nice, personable guy but it takes more than that for me to ship my car from RI to FL. Then again, maybe my experience was a one-time thing. For whatever it's worth, be careful in whoever you chose.
After my initial review Scott's brother called and left me a very nice voicemail which was apologetic and and while he did not explain what the issue was or why there was a complete breakdown in communication, he was polite and courteous, much like Scott. He asked that I change my rating- which I have simply based on that voicemail. He was very polite. Scott was always pleasant on the phone. As I wrote earlier, maybe this was a one-off and it's usually a better experience. I don't know.
Scott was the guy helping me set a shipping date for my car from New York to Chicago. Unfortunately on the day before shipment, he never contacted me so I called and found out that no one could come and ship my car. Waste of time and now I have to find another way to bring my vehicle back home.
As stated by other reviewers, Michael was great to work with -- initially. He was helpful in finding a driver to ship my vehicle across the country.
However, when my vehicle was dropped off I immediately noticed it was not driving normally -- it was swaying from side to side. I notified Michael of the issue less than 24 hours after my vehicle was dropped off and he told me to take my car to a mechanic and then forward him the invoice. The mechanic diagnosed the problem as "lower rear control arms bent due to towing" and provided me photos of the bent parts. The mechanic also said he sees this problem often after vehicles are towed. I paid $630 to repair the damage. I forwarded Michael the invoice from the mechanic per his request, as well as the photos of the bent parts. Given that it was completely clear that the damage was due to the transport, and that the $985 I paid Priority Auto included full insurance coverage, I was certain Michael would do something to help cover the cost of the repairs.
Michael however was quick to blame the mechanic (who is well-reviewed on Yelp) of being "fraudulent" and stated he couldn't be sure the damage to my vehicle was related to the transport (despite the photos I provided and the mechanic's very clear explanation).
I also spoke with Vlad, the owner of Shipping Experts Inc (the company who Michael found to ship my vehicle), and explained the situation. Vlad rudely stated this was not his problem and hung up on me.
I cannot express in words my disappointment with this whole experience. Please choose another company that will actually have your back if (I should say when) something goes wrong with your transport.
